Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 391: Galaxy Surrounded
CHAPTER 391: CHAPTER 391: GALAXY SURROUNDED
Admins?
Kael’s term was confusing to the listeners, including the young Princes. What did Kael mean by Admin?
Kael continued, "As you all know, I am the Primordial Lion, meaning I am quite special..."
As Kael said that, there was not a single trace of arrogance in his eye. It was more like he was stating a fact for everyone to acknowledge.
"There are many Lion clans, but the clan of the Primordial Lion must be different, the Princes must be different."
As Kael said this, he waved his hand, causing a wide rectangular screen to appear in front of him.
The hundred forums were filled with messages about an upcoming war and different propaganda while Kael’s private chat section had multiple messages streaming in.
Kael glanced at all of them calmly, deciding to check them out later. He navigated to another feature.
"While I don’t have a problem focusing all my attention on managing the system, other things need to be attended to.
And for that, I’m going to assign my princes regulatory authority over the system."
Kael snapped his fingers, the golden screen broke up into multiple fragments which then flew over to the six princes.
Ozia and his brothers looked on in awe. But while the brothers appeared very interested in what was happening, Ozia seemed a bit reluctant for some reason.
Still, he managed to put up a smile and play along.
Screens appeared in front of them, showing them their new status as Princes of the Primordial Lion.
They now had a set of new abilities. For starters, they could now ban any lion temporarily and prevent them from using the features of the system.
This was a very powerful perk as a lot were now dependent on the system and its features, having the ability to take it away was a very powerful thing.
They also had the ability to delete messages permanently from the public forums and also make general announcements that would stick to the top of any posts.
They also had the power to make some edits while proposing their own features to Kael. There were some core features about the system that they couldn’t change, no matter what. But they could still make some small modifications.
Of course, Kael did not give them the ability to keep Conquering Essence like Lion Kings or his consorts, that feature was restricted to just those two groups.
Neither did they have the ability to control the flow of Conquering Essence, which was something only Kael could do.
Kael still had scalable plans for his princes, but for now, he would start with these. His original vision was to have one hundred princes and he was going to stick to that vision.
"Thank you, father," The six Princes declared and bowed their heads to show their appreciation.
The sight of six young, well-dressed boys, bowing in servitude to a golden-eyed tyrant who had blood stains all over his bearded jaw and chest was very impactful.
"Thank you very much, Your Majesty," Burdo said, kneeling down to show his appreciation.
He had also been given this privilege. Technically, he was still a lion prince and should have been expecting this, but he had been under the assumption that Kael had abandoned him after revoking Wei’s position.
It turned out that that wasn’t the case as Kael had intentionally added him together with his sons when distributing the privileges.
That Kael still had him at the back of his mind meant a lot to him.
Kael said a few more words of encouragement to charge them all. His final announcement was broadcast to all the guests at the Iron Blood Pyramid.
After that, everyone began to feast. It was a blood fest. The tributes that had been given to Kael due to his right as a king were shared with everyone for this occasion.
The screams of different creatures filled the pyramid, sounding horrifying to the wolf guards and waiters.
At a corner, a certain fox waitress adjusted her dress and kept on walking and serving drinks to the guests. Hearing the screams all around her as the lion guests descended on the tributes, the fox waitress shuddered.
Luckily, she had begun to tie herself to the young Ozia as early as possible. Different schemes played through her mind as she thought of the best way to enter the mind of the first prince.
Her ambitions grew in silence, unbeknownst to anyone.
####
After the party was over.
Kael sat on his pillow throne, staring at the ceiling and the glowing gems that decorated it.
Almost everyone had left or was about to leave.
"Kael, are you okay?" Chloe asked as she passed by Kael from behind.
Resting in Chloe’s embrace was a baby, a winged child that was barely over a year old. The child slept quietly, tired from playing with her siblings.
As Chloe adjusted the child, a bit of her small feathered wings poked out. The wings were small and white, unlike her mother’s black.
Kael shrugged his shoulders, "It looks like we’ll be having some unwelcome visitors much earlier than I expected," He said.
Kael was calm, but his heart was beating wildly. He was both scared and excited, strangely. The news he had just learned from Exalon and his other allies shook him to his core.
"My grandfather told me about it," Chloe sighed and said.
"They also attacked him. Luckily, he had been grouping up with other lions on our side," Chloe said.
"I’m aware," Kael said. Exalon had told him all about it.
No one attacked Exalon though, no one was bold enough to try it. And with Exalon rallying up as many as possible, the casualties were reducing.
Now the Primordial Supporters were the ones making their counterattack, and they went all out.
Right now, heaven was far from peaceful.
"Chloe, how many lions do we have in existence, total?" Kael suddenly asked.
"Uhm, I heard it before. One trillion, that’s the estimate.
Well, it shouldn’t be more than one trillion though. Any race that has a population beyond one trillion would trigger the universe’s clean-up laws in order to maintain stability.
So, I don’t really know but it should definitely not be more than one trillion. It could be more or less by a small margin.
Why’d you ask?"
Kael nodded. He had about a hundred million lion identity marks from heaven which were still growing very fast exponentially.
A hundred million supporters was no small thing, especially with the fact that most lions already knew of Kael’s existence by now but just hadn’t made a decision yet.
The Anti-Primordial had a slightly higher number and theirs was also increasing rapidly. Both sides were rushing to recruit more members into their ranks.
Kael chuckled, "Do you know how Ma’abu and the Anti-Primordial Coalition plan on finding us?" He asked.
Chloe shook her head, "No," She said.
"They already know the galaxy we are in as King Larvis had located it, Spilling Void Galaxy. He had barely been able to lock onto this planet to send you guys here but had already lost the coordinates as soon as the portal closed.
This galaxy is wide, and trying to search for us manually is not easy and could just be fruitless.
But they came up with a plan," Kael recalled what Exalon had told him.
"What is it?" Chloe asked, not appreciating the suspense Kae was keeping her in.
"They plan on surrounding the galaxy, spreading out with as many arkships as they can find.
The galaxy is too big so there would probably be thousands of light years in between each arkship that they want to use to surround it.
After they have done that, they will then use those arkships to send powerful warp signals to each other.
Because it is warp technology, distance is a secondary factor. They would use the warp signals to communicate with each other as they continue surrounding and closing in from the outside.
But here’s the problem. Our arkship is in stealth mode with a very powerful spatial barrier and a distortion field far beyond for a couple of light years.
If two or more arkships are communicating and their warp signals pass through our spatial distortion field, it won’t get out. For the arkships, it would be like sending letters into a void zone.
The other arkships will immediately notice this and verify that there is indeed something blocking warp signals from reaching them on the other side of the galaxy.
Even if the warp signals manage to get out, it would take an extra amount of time and might be distorted.
If it were just one or two arkships doing this, they might not even notice it. But with many arkships shooting warp signals everywhere and others expecting responses, it is very possible.
They would continue to send these warp signals, not with the true intention of communicating, but to zero in on where their communication was being scrambled.
As they close in, they would eventually have us surrounded even if they can’t see us.
They don’t need to wait for me to come out of hiding, they want to fish me out themselves.
