Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 402: Eridoria
CHAPTER 402: CHAPTER 402: ERIDORIA
Killing intent.
Strong killing intent.
Terrifying killing intent.
The killing intent was thick, way too thick.
Warp signals infused with terrifying killing intent passed from one corner of the galaxy to the other and they were all converging at a particular location.
Inside his arkship, Ma’abu sat on his pillow throne with eyes that practically spilled excess killing intent and suffocated the weaker lions and lionesses near him.
Hovering in front of everyone in the command chamber was a holographic map showcasing all the star sectors of the Void Spill Galaxy.
Nearly all the star sectors or star clusters had been mapped out. The movements of the galactic elements were put into consideration and this was a live feed of the galaxy as it was.
It was very detailed and was only off by a few seconds.
This map was only possible because of the constant stream of warp signals that was being transferred all around the galaxy from different arkships.
The thousands of arkships acted as satellites, bouncing warp signals from one receiver to the other and organizing the information within them.
The result was this very detailed live map of the Void Spill that was shared amongst all the affiliated parties.
Currently, this map has a small issue.
At an inconspicuous corner of the galaxy, one of the star systems seemed to be...absent.
No, the best way to describe it was that there seems to be nothing there.
This shouldn’t be so.
There were a lot of empty spaces in the Void Spill Galaxy but it didn’t call for alarm like this place.
This null zone was like a black hole, any warp signal that came in contact with that place was lost forever.
No information was bounced out, no information was sent in.
If not for the wide formation the arkships were employing, anyone would have just assumed that the place was just an empty space.
But Ma’abu and the other lion kings could see clearly that that place wasn’t empty.
It was distorted.
The few Space Lions with them had confirmed too.
In the vast galaxy, for the lion Kings who were searching desperately for the Primordial Lion, this null zone was like a lighthouse in a sea of fog.
Ma’abu’s arkship sped toward that location, along with hundreds of other arkships.
More and more arkships were making their way there, gradually growing to thousands. It wasn’t just the Anti-Primordial Coalition, the Primordial Supporters were also racing there at their top speeds.
From an outside perspective, one wouldn’t be able to see anything unusual as these arkships were performing warp travel, and moving at warp speed.
But as the arkships got closer and closer and began to converge, the killing intent rose.
The Primordial Supporters and Anti-Primordials were starting to encounter each other on their radars.
The tension was thick in the void.

"Why did we stop?" Exalon asked as he looked around at his subordinates.
One of his Princes quickly checked around on his holographic screen.
"Your Majesty, our Warp Engine is no longer active. We seem to have entered a distortion field.
Also, we can no longer send or receive warp signals," The Lion Prince declared as confusion colored his face.
Exalon nodded, knowing what was happening, "Ready the defense mechanisms. Have the barriers active immediately," He said.
Exalon sat up straight on his pillow throne as his muscles twitched fiercely. A look of ferocity and ruthlessness began to appear between his brows.
His grey mane puffed up and flowed majestically to his back and chest.
It had been a long while since he entered a battle-ready state.
The golden screen of the Lion System appeared in his vision again, he was waiting for something.
The group chat was active but the main principal was still silent.
More and more arkships flew into the distortion field causing their warp engines to stop working.
Moving at such high speeds and then suddenly forced to slow down would have been very disorienting if other ordinary vessels were used.
As more and more arkships appeared, the possibility of tension grew.
The arkships could only continue their search while moving close to the speed of light.
Even then, this speed was unbearably slow and it could take them hundreds of years to get to where they were.
Multiple Space Lions and Magus Lions began working on manual teleportation gates.
Warp speed may not work but they could try the old ways that were used before arkships were ever invented.
"That star, there’s a planet in its habitable zone over there," One of the lion kings broadcasted through a magically amplified telepathic channel.
"I see it too," Another lion king snarled and he changed course for the specific star system.
Suddenly, a wide spatial portal with magic runes decorating the edges appeared and swallowed the whole arkship.
A few seconds later, the arkship appeared a couple light light-years away, closer to the star system of Eridoria.
One by one, other arkships, with the help of amplification magic technology of the arkships and immensely powerful lions, tore through the void in pursuit of the planet.
They dived down like fallen moons, heading straight for the habitable planet.
Now that they were closer, they could use the light to see a better image of the planet.
"That’s an arkship! That’s an arkship!" One of the lion kings roared. The arkship burst into blue flames, becoming semi-intangible and zooming off at the speed of light.
Different arkships activated their modifications and sped off, seeking to reach the planet first.
"Something isn’t right," Ma’abu announced as his eyes scanned the arkship.
This arkship looked familiar, very familiar.
He was sure that he had seen it somewhere before.
Planet Eridoria floated in space, dancing around its star like a blue-green marble.
Thousands of light beams streaked over from afar, surrounding it from all corners.
The arrival of so many large objects began to distort gravity. The other planets suddenly didn’t know which path to follow again.
Countless asteroids circled around the incoming arkships, dancing along their path to destroy their enemy.
*WHOOM!*
Suddenly, the distortion field that covered so many star systems faded away.
This was a disaster.
Many of the arkships had not turned off their warp engines and as soon as the distortion field was turned off, they instantly resumed warp speed.
The damage that followed could be imagined.
There was no sound in space to relay the echoes of these large machines crashing into each other at speeds the mortal mind couldn’t even comprehend.
It was utter chaos.
Even Ma’abu’s ship was not spared, his arkship crashed directly into Eridoria, tearing through the planet’s crust and cutting a clean gash right through.
Thankfully, his arkship had a very strong body and the magic barrier was active. Still, the arkship had flown right through the planet, causing major destruction.
His arkship which was shaped like a very flat disc, had literally sliced the planet into two.
The cut was instant and clean that the planet failed to collapse under its own weight for a few seconds.
He wasn’t the only one, hundreds of other arkships that had been heading straight for Eridoria smashed into each other with the planet as a converging point.
The scale of this accident was hard to imagine without seeing it with one’s own eyes.
The whole star system was thrown into chaos with some arkships flying directly into the central star and destabilizing its core.
Some arkships had modifications that gave them extremely high gravitational pulls that rivaled stars. Them flying around so fast and diving through the star was not good.
Bright lights flashed, the star compressed, and the planets were shattered.
Just like that, Eridoria was destroyed.
Everything had happened so fast, it was so unexpected.
Those creatures that had been left behind on the planet had died very swiftly, either crushed by the gravitational field or disintegrated by the extreme heat.
This kind of accident...
"WHAT THE FUCK!!!" Ma’abu screamed as he took manual control of the arkship and quickly stopped it from flying into the sun.
As for the sun, the central star, it was destabilizing. It was hard to tell whether it was about to compress or expand rapidly...or both.
Stellar flares rushed out of the star, brushing the bodies of the arkship.
Before Ma’abu could organize himself and his subordinates, one arkship slammed into them from the side, sending them off course and away from the unstable star.
Ma’abu had never been so disoriented, confused, and angry at the same time.
If any ordinary living creature had witnessed this large-scale accident physically, their eyes would have been burned off due to the intense blinding lights.
The shockwaves were terrifying.
Meanwhile, as all these accidents happened, Exalon and the Primordial Supporters had their arkships parked outside the star system.
Multiple planet-busting cannons rolled out of the small sections of the arkships. Each of these cannons was aimed at one arkship.
Exalon smiled deviously, baring his white fangs at the holographic screens.
"FIRE!"
/////
At this time, the mysterious arkship that had been positioned above planet Eridoria was nowhere to be seen.
As soon as the distortion field was turned off, it had activated its warp engine and zoomed away into the starry expanse.
*ZHING!!!*
The pulse of the Primordial Lion was released.
