Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 555: World Breaker
CHAPTER 555: CHAPTER 555: WORLD BREAKER
With his finger pointer toward the sky, a black bead-like thing appeared at the tip of his finger.
The appearance of this bead alone heralded the end of the world. Those on the planet could hear audible cracks coming from the fabric of reality.
Seeing that what was going on was already beyond their pay grade, the other creatures who felt all this did not concern them started ascending to the stars, rushing back to their arkships as fast as they could.
However...
The black bead exploded, and a dark veil began to blanket the whole planet with Ibadon as the origin point.
Wherever the dark blanket touched, life would cease to exist. The clouds were wiped away, the air was wiped away, the land was wiped away.
Even the atoms were wiped away, swallowed in essence by the spreading veil.
Watching below, Exalon had a grim look on his face.
Behind him, the various lion kings stared at the dark veil with trepidation in their hearts.
Even the dragons had stopped fighting, understanding that Ibadon was no longer taking their safety into account. He was going all out.
Exalon was the only one who stood between them and this abomination, but even Ibadon was looking worse for wear.
He had black cracks all over his body from the excess energy coming from the gauntlet.
Black tears streamed down his cheeks and stained his grey mustache.
His power level had risen beyond what anyone could expect. From tier 6, it had gone to the peak of tier 7, and the gauntlet itself was releasing a more terrifying aura.
"I’m almost done, just a little bit more time" Memphis’s telepathic voice echoed in Exalon’s mind.
His eyes brightened, yes, he could not forget their plan.
He wasn’t fighting Ibadon to defeat him, that was impossible. He was only trying to stall for time as much as possible.
Why?
Because all the lion kings had heavenly beacons that could open heavenly gates to the Leonine Heavenly Realm.
Unfortunately, more than half of them had opened their heavenly gates not too long ago so that they could come to the main universe.
Some of them had even opened their heavenly gates earlier than that for various reasons.
Their heavenly beacons were now on a one-year cool-down, travelling between two mega dimensions was not a light task to bear for the heavenly beacons.
Kael and the Primordial Supporters had come with an evacuation plan, there was no way they would come to this dangerous place without a good escape plan.
That was why they were so confident even though they had known that Ibadon could potentially be the one who set the bait.
Unfortunately, Ma’abu showed up and messed up many things.
Their evacuation plan involved those who were still in heaven locking onto their coordinates and opening heavenly gates for them to escape through.
Since the Battle Planet blocked a lot of communication and contact with the outside world, this would have been only possible with the assistance of the chat feature from the lion system.
Alas, the tail wrapped around Kael’s neck had caused the lion system and all the other systems affiliated with it to glitch.
The chat features were rendered completely useless, as was their escape plan.
How annoying.
So now, they had to settle for option two, Kael improvised.
Memphis was the key to the new plan’s success.
Kalem had heard that Ma’abu was able to accelerate the time flow for the heavenly beacons of his allies, allowing them to casually overcome the one-year cool-down in a matter of days.
Surely, if Ma’abu could do it, Memphis could do it as well. In fact, she should be able to do it better with more efficiency since she was originally tier 7.
But tier 7 wouldn’t be enough if they wanted to evacuate everyone.
Memphis would have to accelerate the flow of time for the individual heavenly beacons of every lion king present, including the tier 7s.
That was more than twenty thousand heavenly beacons at the same time. It had to be precise too as she was only going to focus on their heavenly beacons, not the lion kings themselves.
It was hard, it was almost impossible to do, unless she had a power-up.
Not only did she have to do it for so many lion kings, but she also had to do it fast. She had to complete the process in a minute or two, max three.
Once it was three minutes, the suppression from the planet would be fine completely and Ibadon would be able to destroy all of them with a simple thought.
She had to act fast.
Luckily, Kael could still muster enough force to channel his Conquering Mode Avatar through her.
They needed time, both literally and figuratively. Every second that passed felt like an hour.
More than one minute had also elapsed and they were drawing close to the two-minute mark.
Everyone was apprehensive.
*Sigh*
Exalon sighed, knowing how this would end if he didn’t put his all.
He also knew how this would end if he put his all.
There was no two ways about this.
*BAM!*
He clenched the black gauntlet into a fist and punched out toward the sky.
The cracks on his muscular body widened, delivering more pain to his mind.
A massive shockwave spread out as reality shattered and mended itself over and over again.
The dark blanket that had been spreading out of Ibadon’s finger was shattered, torn to shreds by the blow of the gauntlet.
"You pesky runt, you could have left with the power you have in your hand right now," Ibadon said, bringing his hand down.
His body glitches, fading out of existence before...
*BAM!*
Ibadon and Exalon clashed, the resulting force was like the detonation of multiple nukes at the same time.
Exalon threw a fast right punch as Ibadon’s,. Expecting the latter to catch it, which he did. Then he swung his powerful left hand to deliver a mighty slap to Exalon’s face.
It was fast, and it was disrespectful.
Ibadon’s hair flew up and his body pierced into the ground.
Exalon chased after him, taking the battle to the subterranean part of the planet.
And so the two began to fight, exchanging blow after blow.
Hundreds of black oblivion beams cleaved through the continental plates, cutting from the east to the west, rising high and damaging some arkships.
The planet was being torn asunder from the inside out.
Explosions went off continuously, lava fountains rose, and seas evaporated. The land of the battle planet had long since stopped its occasional changing.
From roars that everyone could hear, Exalon seems to be at a disadvantage. That should have been expected.
But there was something about Exalon’s roar that filled the hearts of the lion kings with sorrow and melancholy.
Yes, Ibadon’s attacks were devastating and becoming more powerful as time passed.
But Exalon suffered more whenever he chose to strike than from the hits he received from Ibadon.
The cracks in his body had widened to grotesque proportions and black fluids, which were Exalon’s toxic blood, flowed out from these cracks.
By now, most of the planet was no longer a spherical shape anymore. Some parts of the planet were collapsing inward and heating up fast while some other parts were letting go of their earthly constraints and drifting to space.
If it was an ordinary planet, it would have already been crushed by the sheer collective auras from so many powerhouses.
"You choose to die for them?!" Ibadon asked, kicking Exalon away from him and dashing toward Kael.
His body turned into a black beam, flying through folded dimensions to get to the Primordial Lion faster.
Thankfully, Exalon was not planning on letting him go.
Exalon slammed into Ibadon from the side, neutralising the latter’s momentum and shaking him off course, the two hurled themselves into the planet again.
Ibadon grabbed Exalon’s face with one hand, and a tiny black star was formed and it hit Exalon’s face point-blank.
Exalon shot through the interior of the planet. His battered body flew out of a hole on the other side, filled with scars and killer cracks.
When Exalon stabilized himself in the air, he discovered that his vision had deteriorated badly. His sense of smell was completely gone and he could not feel his lips or tongue.
He didn’t need a mirror to know the current state of his face. One of his eyes was missing, having burst out of his skull after that last attack.
His nose was crushed into his face, his lips and mustache were gone, leaving behind parts of his skull exposed and a few broken fangs.
A clear tear fell from the last good eye Exalon still had.
This was it.
"Memphis!" He called telepathically, "Thirty seconds remaining," He said, flexing his shoulder and adjusting his dislocated bones.
"I know," Memphis replied, sounding a little bit panicked and uncertain of herself.
Hearing Memphis’s tone, Exalon immediately acted.
He formed a grabbing claw with his gauntlet arm and pushed it down to the planet.
’25 seconds remaining...’
Exalon poured every last will he had into the gauntlet to activate the last reserves of power Jin had left behind.
A black, gigantic arm grew out of the gauntlet, wrapped in the world-ending power of the godly artifact.
Exalon’s body expanded at the same time, swelling to a titanic scale.
The gigantic arm rushed into the interior of the planet, moving fast enough to crush past the core in five seconds.
’20 seconds remaining...’
Ibadon’s gloved hand was now just a few meters away from Kael’s face. No one was here to protect him.
Kael looked up, calmly suppressing the rage in his heart. His golden gaze met Ibadon’s dull red eyes.
’15 seconds...’
However, it was too late.
Ibadon placed his hand on Kael’s shoulder, wearing a victorious smile.
"This is..."
Ibadon’s smile froze, he retracted his hand instinctively. He had merely grazed the anti-lion tail wrapped around Kael’s neck.
Ibadon hesitated because the lion part of him reacted to its natural weakness.
That hesitation was enough.
"Done!" Memphis declared, rushing toward the stunned Ibadon and Kael.
