Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 560: The Sinners List
CHAPTER 560: CHAPTER 560: THE SINNERS LIST
One grain of sand slowly flew toward one of the captives who knelt close to the edge of the stage.
The spectating kings watched closely.
The captive human struggled to release himself from the magic binds on his wrist and ankles but to no avail.
He was now a weak defenseless human compared to the mighty king he once was.
He closed his eyes, doing his best to protect himself against the rune-inscribed grain of sand.
However, that didn’t change anything.
The grain of sand approached his closed eyes and he felt a light prick, which was then followed by a world of pain.
The grain of sand spun slightly, piercing into the eyelid of the man and spinning its way into the eye.
The captive roared, opening his eyes as blood mixed with white eye fluid flowed down his cheeks.
But it didn’t stop, the pain didn’t stop. The grain of sand, as if it had been programmed to take its time, moved at a snail’s pace.
The captive was bound to the ground and couldn’t really move anyway.
While this particular tiny grain of sand was drilling into the eye socket and making its way to the brain, a few more grains of sand started to invade the man’s body from other sides.
His neck, his back, his chest, his groin, his thighs, his anus, his abdomen.
The sand grains moved randomly but they carried pain and torture with their annoyingly slow movements.
The former king cried out, but soon after a few minutes, he wasn’t able to cry out again.
Grains of sand had invaded his throat and damaged his vocal cords. Any attempt to make a sound was more painful and it was better to grit his teeth.
He wished for death, a swift one, but it didn’t come.
While he suffered, the spectating kings watched him and his former comrades with satisfied smiles on their faces as they recorded all that was happening.
One Lion King with an info orb could not cover the entire stage and get a visual on all that was happening currently.
However, with fifty thousand or more recording the event, they would be able to get coverage from other angles.
When the contents of these info orbs were to be copied and spread to various factions all over the world, those factions would see different people being tortured in different ways by these grains of sand.
The session went on for two more hours, the kings all sat down and made sure to record as much as they could from wherever they were.
One by one, the humans dropped dead on their faces or on their sides, blood spewing from the holes that had formed on their bodies.
They were like sieves or punctured watermelons.
By the time the last one fell over after dying from his pains, all the Primordial Supporter kings had smiles on their faces.
Truly, this was therapeutic for them, they suddenly felt lighter and better after watching their enemies suffer.
Perhaps, this was the true cure for many negative emotions.
At this time, Kael, who wore a smile on his face, spoke up.
"Before now, some of these sinners, after some ’persuasion’ revealed the information on the names and whereabouts of their friends, family, and comrades..."
Kael waved his hand and a golden screen appeared in front of all the lion kings.
It was an updated list of all the sinners.
This list was very very long, containing almost a million lion kings of not more than.
Both those who had been affiliated with the Anti-Primordial coalition and those who had merely agreed with them were among them.
Friends, family, friends of family, they were all there. Just being associated with one of these sinners would get them on the sinners’ list.
This was brutal and seemed unfair but Kael had his reasons for doing this. It was a technique he was adopting from some of the historical tyrants from his past life.
Isolation.
If others realized that associating themselves with a sinner would get them on the sinner’s list, they may not be that scared, especially if they were the average lion.
But once they watched the copied info orbs, a little bit of doubt and fear might start to creep in.
To avoid unnecessary trouble and a very painful death which was a must for the current lion kings, the wise ones would quickly join the lion system to prove that they had nothing to do with the sinners.
For more than a million sinners to be listed, the Primordial Supporters were going to be very busy very soon.
And with their latest members, those tier 7 lion kings who had joined a day after that event with Kael, they had nothing to fear.
Another phase of the great purification was about to begin, more brutal and horrifying than the one that happened when Kael first came.
Heaven help those who resisted, heaven help them all.
A few hours later, the heavenly beacons that had been extracted from the bodies of these Anti-Primordial coalition members were distributed to the present lion kings.
About ten thousand heavenly beacons, all from the participants of Ma’abu’s scheme.
There were still many more members of this Anti-Primordial coalition at large.
For now, these heavenly beacons would be entrusted to the few selected Primordial Supporters who had contributed the most to the Battle Planet.
They were free to give these heavenly beacons to any lion or lioness they wanted as long as that lion or lioness had already joined the lion system.
"Ozia," Kael called telepathically, "Come with your mentor."
Ozia was not close by, instead, he was still in the arkship with his siblings. As the family of the All-King, they and the consorts were among the few non-kingly privileged to come and watch today’s torture live.
Meanwhile, Kael turned around to look at his consorts who all looked at him.
Of all of them, Katari was the only one who seemed slightly at ease with herself. Alora wore her usual cold expression, she knew it wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t help Kael in battle.
The others had their heads bowed slightly.
Kael scanned all of them, "You all should prepare yourselves, I have thought of the perfect challenge for my Consort Trial..."
