CHAPTER 584: CHAPTER 584: PRIMORDIAL RAT

"The Primordial Rat of Freedom," N’bayé said.

The process to find this rat had not been easy at all. Just singling out the rats from the millions of other creatures she could have been tracking was a serious matter of calculation.

She had taken the pain of learning about the history of thousands of creatures so that she could find out when they last had their Primordial born.

It was after those calculations that she selected the rats as well as some other creatures as the most likely candidates to have their Primordials born recently.

N’bayé had been very specific with what she was looking for. She didn’t want to find a Primordial like Empress Elizabeth or the Queen of Queens, she wanted to find one that had just been born and didn’t yet have time to grow.

N’bayé’s terrifying calculative powers were put on full display and only someone like Kael would be able to appreciate it.

"The Primordial Rat of Freedom," Kael muttered as he stared down at the countless rats fighting each other.

Why were they fighting so hard when their true enemies were not even bothered by what was going on with them?

"So what happened?" Kael asked as he flew forward towards the direction Katari had pointed to before.

That was where she had sensed a strange and mysterious aura.

N’bayé blinked, revising what she had learned upon coming to the planet, "The Primordial Rat awakened his powers.

The Primordial Rat is just like every other Primordial in the sense that their logic and mentality might be heavily influenced by the law they are affiliated with.

You can imagine what a Primordial of Freedom would do once he has been born in this world.

For thousands of years, this planet has been sending slave tributes to its Lion Overlords and living in fear and oppression.

The only rats who had a good life were the chiefs and military leaders who were somehow exempt from the slave tributes as long as they could enforce order in the rat societies.

These elite rats obviously swallowed up the corrupt deal and have been sacrificing their own kind to maintain their power and status.

The Primordial Rat was then born with a strong desire for Freedom.

He wasn’t even part of those who were supposed to be sent as tributes but he took it as though it was.

His aura was infectious, causing all those around him to have a strong desire for freedom that quickly got out of hand the stronger he got.

Although the elite rats were somewhat influenced by the Freedom Aura, they were also aware of the enormous difference between the lion civilization and the rat civilization.

A minor rebellion on this planet would at most cause some frowns, it wouldn’t actually change anything.

The elites knew that if they bowed to the freedom aura and followed the path of the Primordial Rat, they would be wiped out when the true kings of the world arrived.

That is what caused this war.

The Primordial Rat has organized a revolution campaign to overthrow the elites and impose a libertarian society.

His words and logic have infected the ordinary citizens. He had told them that they would die either way, and he had told them that there was nothing more valuable than freedom.

He’s the reason the rebellion is global and so vicious.

The rats are tired of their oppression. They curse the day their ancestors met Ishat, they want to be free.

And perhaps, if the Primordial Rat can free this world, with a bit of luck, he might even be able to rid the whole civilization across galaxies of their chains."

They soon got to a vast capital city that had once been the center of authority for the elite rats.

This place was in ruins, magic bullets flew from one place to another and explosions continuously rang out marking the end of a dozen or more lives.

*BOOM!*

The side of a particular skyscraper burst open with flames and glass shards flying out.

A few rats were blasted out screaming for their lives as they fell to their deaths.

"ACHA KHAN FREDORIS!"

A loud cry came from inside the skyscraper, followed by a few more explosions. It sounded like something or someone was blasting through the insides of the concrete tower.

"Language," Kael to N’bayé.

N’bayé quickly sent him a compact telepathic message containing the language learning model.

"ACHA KHAN FREDORIS!"

The person shouted again and Kael instantly understood what the person was saying.

"FREEDOM BY FORCE!"

Kael chuckled, "Nice," He said, exposing his golden fangs to the world.

The three of them flew toward the skyscraper, which was also where the mysterious aura was coming from.

Kael suddenly started having a strong guy instinct, the same one he had when he first found Marcus.

The Primordial was here.

Kael’s golden eyes shone brightly as he used his spirit sense to scan the whole building, he was able to see what was happening inside.

What Kael saw would normally come straight out of a movie.

One sole rat with brown fur, standing alone in the rubble in the midst of the collapsing building. Surrounding him were four other rats, just as big as he was.

However, the sole rat had a mighty aura that shook the hearts of all who saw him. Every movement of his seemed like it was blessed by the universe.

He stood tall as though nothing could have ever stopped him from doing what was in his mind.

Their figures blurred and flashed in and out of existence. The mysterious rat blocked all the attacks from his enemies within a second.

Although it was four against one, it felt like the four rats were the ones that were outnumbered.

Kael paid serious attention to see what was happening.

The rats fought each other with the clear intent to slaughter themselves. The strengths were extraordinary, every slash and punch sent them flying through walls and through the ceilings.

But irrespective of how bad the damage was, they would get on all fours and run back into the fight.

That mysterious rat that fought alone was the Primordial Rat. The four rats fighting against him were the most elite members of the rats’ upper echelons.

Kael was paying attention to something else, he was hoping to see the Primordial Rat use his powers.

All his while, the Primordial Rat had been using his bare physique to fight the four elite rats.

And then, Kael saw it. The Primordial Rat used his powers.

Kael’s eyes opened wide in shock and excitement.
