Feeling herself starting to drool as she thought about how delicious the magic earth cow lord would be, Scaly quickly shook her head as she forced herself to focus before her still half empty stomach took over and made her charge recklessly into the massive group of magic earth cows without any real plan for how she would deal with so many monsters at the same time.

Even if she really wanted to do something like that, she still didn’t have any idea just how strong she was now that she had gone through her fifth evolution and how she would fare in the face of so many monsters at the same time alongside an especially powerful lord monster.

Because of this, Scaly found her gaze drifting towards some of the weaker magic earth cows that were grassing a short distance away from the rest of the magic earth cows. Not viewing any of the surrounding monsters as a threat.

Odd as this was even with so many powerful magic earth cows around, it didn’t take long for Scaly to figure out why even these seemingly weak magic earth cows were so confident after she decided to inspect one of them in preparation for her attack...

In terms of defense alone, the magic earth cow is known as one of the strongest for its level and even those several levels above will find it difficult to do any real damage to a magic earth cow. Outside of this, the magic earth cow does not have much ability to defend itself and more offensive spells or skills are commonly not learnt by domesticated magic earth cows and are difficult to find in magic earth cows outside dungeons.]

In simple words, the magic earth cows were difficult to kill.

Of course, there was a limit to everything and with how easily she had managed to kill the group earlier, it was clear that weaker earth magic cows were not much different from other monsters, her main worry was the stronger earth magic cows. Especially the earth magic cow lord, as she had a feeling it would be difficult for her to get through its thick skin that had also been strengthened through earth magic.

The only thing she didn’t really worry about was the offensive capabilities of these magic earth cows, as the description was rather clear that their offensive capabilities were lacking.

But just jumping in to find out that she had no way to deal any damage to the magic earth cow lord would be a rather embarrassing turn of events.

Scaly decided to observe them for a bit while fighting against her stomach that wanted her to charge forward. Doing her best to try and grasp some kind of weakness that she would be able to take advantage of when facing up against the magic earth cow lord.

In the few minutes that followed, Scaly became painfully aware of just how bad she was at this kind of observation thing, as she only really managed to understand that the magic earth cows really enjoyed chomping down on the long grass. Almost showing a similar level of joy as her when she had chomped down on their companions earlier not too far a-

As her thoughts began wandering at the thought of how delicious the magic earth cows were, Scaly suddenly found herself freezing on the spot alongside her mind that short-circuited a second later.

All for the simple reason that she had somehow ended up mindlessly wandering forward before her face hovered no more than a few short centimeters away from a rather confused looking magic earth cow who had no idea where she had popped up from.

Hearting the simple confused moo response from the magic earth cow that was far from hostile like she had expected it to be, Scaly had no idea what to do, as she began realizing her stomach had somehow managed to take control and pushed her towards the delicious meal that had been waiting for her.

Even now, the magic earth cow just stared at her innocently without making any effort to attack her. Instead, just staring innocently towards her.

A chance that Scaly would never easily give up on, as she took the opportunity to cut down magic earth cow before dragging its body into the tall grass so the rest of the earth magic cows wouldn’t be able to notice anything had happened to their companion-

But this was far too naive, as the other companions in question had essentially been grassing right next to it. Noticing the second Scaly cut I down and began trying to grab the corpse away for consumption.

One of them even letting out a rather strange roaring sound that sounded nowhere near what a cow should have sounded according to what little she could gather from her blurry memories of her past life before she had reincarnated as a lizard... Now dragon.

Something that soon enough caught the attention of the rest of the magic earth cows not too far away and in turn also the magic earth cow lord, whose full attention had now entirely shifted away from the delicious long grass it had been enjoying and instead focused directly on her-

Just in time to see her chomp down of his delicious companion-

To say the magic earth cow lord was enraged would be an understatement and underestimation of the sheer killing intent this lord monster experienced upon seeing one of its people being eaten in front of it...
