"Fuck I'm genuinely a rat why does the world hate me soo much" Vice said "if I wanted to be a fucking rodent I would have evolved as a mouse instead I turn into a fucking rat" he throw another punch to the wall

"Ok let's focus on the positive I can use mana now, yeah that's the good news" Vice tried his best to boost his moral as he was pacing up and down.

'I need to do anything calm down' Vice looked around the to see bodies of the rabbits, he went to each and everyone he could find and took out their mana core, he was going to increase his mana without using stat points.

"Unlike people monsters don't need refine mana cores to potions to use them their body have natural ways of absorbing it without harming their bodies" Vice looked at the mana cores that surpassed 130

"Ok let's get this dead bodies out of here" Vice cleaned the warren, when he was throwing out the bodies he saw a few wolves stationed near by so he never went far from the hole

When he was done with cleaning he went straight to absorbing the mana cores but thanks to him having mana in his body he was able to feel how mana flowed in this body and with that understanding he modified the his human techniques to match this body.

When he finished absorbing mana he ate some rabbit meat he had stored in his shadow space. It was now night so he went to sleep.

"Fuck I need to escape this place" he was about to run out of food, so he needed to escape this place

"Let me check the other exits" Vice looked at every way leading out of here and at every exit he found that the were some wolves were stationed

"Ok they have me trapped I have to wait until night to move" Vice spent a majority of his day studying the wolves waiting for the sun to set

"Ok the E-Rank wolves are divided one is currently on the south while the other is on the north so my options are east and west" as the sun set Vice was waiting on the east section.

He used all his stat point to increase every stat except mana, now it was night.

'Time to move' he popped his head out of hole, he looked left then right when he confirmed that the was no wolf near by, he actived [Shadow vail] then he ran out of the exit heading straight for the nearest tree, he reached the tree.

"No something is not right here" it was too easy for him to reach the tree he thought about how when got out of the hole to throw out the bodies the wolves didn't even look in his direction he knew something was wrong

"HOWL!!"

"Oh shit they ember wolves"he finally remembered as he ran by hopping from one tree to the next to escape the glowing figures that were catching up to him, he thought back to everything he knew about them.

"those little shits are tracking me by my scent, fuck how could I forget that" ember wolves are famous for their tracking ability they can estimated the distance and strength of their target by scent that why the wolf never bothered to look his direction they knew he was close to the hole.

'Fuck' he cursed in his mind when he saw a few glowing figures beneath his feet but he kept running, the wolves seemed to be trying to burn the tree's.

Vice needed to keep his feet off the ground at all times he understood that the wolves were faster than him.

as he ran throw the middle region his only goal was to reach the core region where the ember wolves can't do as they wished.

As he ran, he could see that some wolves were running past him their figures stop a short distance from him

"Shit! The is clearing" Vice realised he was now at the centre of the middle region.

He immediately jumbed to tree on the right and ran in that direction.

He didn't know where he was going, all he knew was to not touch the ground and to keep running.

"HOOWL"

after that howl other wolves appeared from the other side of the clearing.

"Fuck!" Vice was now being chased by 120 wolves with multiple E-Rank wolves being there, his situation looked grim.

'RUN! don't touch the ground! RUN! don't touch the ground! RUN!' That was the mantra going throw Vice's head as he kept jumping from tree to tree.

Then as he ran the environment became warm a sizzling sound could be heard, Vice turned his head to take a glimpse of what was happening his eyes and mouth widen.

"How the fuck did they set rainforest on fire" the sight the rainforest burning motivated Vice to keep running and to never stop running

"sploosh!"

The roaring sound of water could now be heard, a smile formed on Vice's face he could finally see a glimpse of hope.

Then he saw multiple glowing figures run past him, the wolves were now burning the trees in front as the flames roared in the back and now the front he had to stop or he would burn to death.

'Why why did i mess with those wolfs? No no no i can't die like this i wont' These are the thoughts that hunted him as he ran toward the flames, he jumped on the first burning tree then the second and so on..

His body was now on fire the pain was unimaginable his fur burned first the he felt the flames burn his skin, he gritted his teeth the enter process.

"The's water ahead keep running the's water ahead keep running" that thought kept him pushing on even when he felt his muscles starting to burn.

Life was already fucking him side way, he wasn't going to let it take him down without a fight this time he wanted to die with hope in his heart.

As he hopped to the last tree he could barely see the roaring river as his eye lid burn he jumped with his body on fire to the river he lost conscious befor his body hit the water.
