CHAPTER 17 - 17:THE PACKS DOWNFALL

"Fuck I really have to climb this tree" Vice was at the base of the tree, he was now climbing the tree

Middle region

In a stone cave with six wolves

"The time has come, honey get the children out here" a grey wolf with a scar on it left eye spoke

"let us stay we can help" a black and white wolf spoke with eyes that we filled with tears

"I know you can help but in need you to protect the next generation" the grey wolf spoke as it turned to the exit.

"Dad can I come with you" Victoria spoke a she watched her father leave

"No, Vincent your responsible for generation" the father spoke in stern voice and left the cave

Vincent simply nodded his head, seeing this Victoria bit her lip.

"Children let's leave" the mother spoke with a soft voice

"Mother let's fight we're are acting like cowards let's go and help father, right?" Victoria spoke with conviction looking to her brothers for support they all shock their heads except Vincent, he just stood there like always and watched.

"Vincent your supposed to be next leader say something" Victoria looked to him for support but he said nothing.

'Why did father choose him' she loved her brother but it always bother her how he was given everything even when he stopped speaking their father favored him and it bothered her.

"The is a different between bravery and foolishness" her mother answered her with eyes filled with tears

"Then is dad a fool for going out their to face those humans!" Victoria yelled

"You dad is doing his responsibilities as leader and as your father it's our responsibility to keep you safe now let's leave" her mother spoke as she left the cave

They left and we're going to meet other wolves in their generation

"Why is everyone so afraid of human" she asked her mother as they ran throw the rain.

"they are horrible monsters that constantly enter our home and attack without reason" the mother spoke "they are far stronger than us my child"

Victoria didn't like that answers it sounded like the answer of a coward but she kept all of this to herself.

They finally reached the other wolves, the adult went to stood apart from them they seemed to be discussing something.

Victoria was now meeting up with her friends

"Guys we can't let them fight while we run like cowards" Victoria whispered to her friends while Vito and Victor stood behind her.

"Your right but how do we help them? our guardians won't let us go" a female wolves with reddish brown fur replied

"We run Rose we burn those humans the same way our parents burned the forest for us" Victoria whispered

"Yeah!" The other wolves all agreed

"What does Vincent say? He's the leader" Rose spoke as she looked a Vincent who was standing alone.

"No Victoria is the leader, she's the strongest in our generation and she's about to break in E-Rank" Victor spoke and the other wolves nodded their heads

"he always says nothing, now lets leave" Victoria replied as she turned her back to leave.

"No I'm staying" Rose spoke her eyes were still on Vincent

"Suit yourself but don't get in our way" Victoria spoke as she ran back to he father to help with other wolves

A Victoria figures where slowly vanishing Rose walked to Vincent

"Why didn't you stop them?" Rose spoke

"The is nothing I can do or say to change her mind" Vincent spoke

"She's your sister what if she die's" she asked but Vincent just continue to stand there silent.

'I'll show you dad that I should be the leader not Vincent' Victoria thought as the ran to her home.

"Guys all we have to do is get past a few tree's and then we'll make those humans suffer" Vito spoke and everyone smiled hearing his words.

But when they got past those few tree's their eyes were wide open from shock, the wolves saw their parents bodies dead on the floor many of those bodies were cut into pieces

At the center of this bloodshed stood seven figures who turned their head giving them a warm welcome a smile appeared on one of the figures.

"Dad" Victoria mouth was wide open as she saw her fathers head being held by one of those figures she took a step back.

"You fucking human!" Victoria screamed as she turned into her ember form but she failed

"Why? why isn't it working? the rain" she now stood in front of her enemies defenceless she turned her eyes to her brothers who were frozen, she couldn't use her ember for because she was just an F-Rank

"RUUUN!!!" she screamed snapping everyone back to reality but now one human was running towards them.

They ran with all their might but could still hear that the lone figure killing other wolves fast.

'How, how can they be this strong?why are they doing this?' Question were the going through Victoria head but she did have luxury of answering them.

"Noo sis help!" Victoria stopped running she heard her brothers voice, she turned around to see Vito had been stabbed in the thigh.

Then her eyes moved to Victor who ran to save Vito

'No these idiots' she ran to Vito as fast as she could but it was to late a dagger was heading for Vito skul and the was nothing she could do.

'No its my fault I should have listened I should have stayed quite no don't kill my brother' tears ran down her face as she ran to her brother.

Then three red figures ran passed her toward the human. Seeing this the human jumped back to avoid the attack.

"Blablablabka" the human spoke but the wolves did understand

"Victoria take your brother and leave now" Victoria mother spoke in a stern voice

Victoria listened this time picked up Vito with the help of Victor and ran leaving their guardians to fight

'Sorry mom' she now understood that she made a mistake her mother and the two other wolves were E-Rank but the human seemed to be peak D-Rank.

As she ran saw two figures standing ahead of them

"Vincent,Rose run I don't think...they are going t... win" Victoria spoke to the figures in front of her

"Ok let's lead everyone to core rigion" Rose spoke to Vincent as she moved to the other wolves who were standing behind them.

Vincent did move he seemed to be focused the fight that was happening behind them.

"Vincent what are you doing let leave!" Victoria yelled at him, Vincent started to walk

'What is he doing?' She thought as she looked at him walk toward the fight

"Vincent don't do this your put your life and everyone in danger!" She yelled at Vincent was moving closer to the fight

"Mooom! Vincent doesn't want to leave!" She screamed toward her mother who's fighting.

"Son stay back" the mother turned to stop Vincent but this was a fatal mistake now a dagger was heading for her skull but she open her mouth in shock

As she saw her son use his ember form and ran past her to bit the human arm[Blaze], the human arm was now on fire.

The human pointed it's dagger to Vincent ribs but Vincent jumped back.

"I'll need your help" Vincent spoke to the three wolves that were in shock snapping them back to reality.

"Ok we all go for it limbs" his mother spoke and everyone nodded

The human had already put out the flames on it arm.

As the wolves were now approaching it, it turned invisible but that was useless the wolves attacked with precision.

One wolf bit it's leg as it tried to run and now it was visible the other wolves now grabbed each limb causing it to fall

[Blaze] each of its limb caught

"BlA! AAA!"

It screamed and tried to fight back but with limb being held down it could do nothing but struggle as it died.

"Ok let's leave" Vincent fur turned back to being gray as he walked off.

Victoria stood there her mouth wide open
