"So what do you want?" she spoke as she looked at her shadow

"Im not going to hit you" he smiled at her

"That creepy smile of yours is not convincing" she went back to guarding her shadow leaving Vice with a sneer on his face

"Ok then tell me how your boss became a rat man?" He leaned closer

"He didn't became a rat man he was born a rat man we always thought he was deformed growing up but as we grew up he got stronger than us to the point he killed our previous leader.." her jaw tightened and she had some tears in her eyes as she spoke.

"Was the previous leader a rat man?" He moved closer

"No my dad wasn't a rat man" after she spoke she ran to the entrance.

"Sigh"

'Was she crying for real?' he wandered as he looked at her

He looked to the purple crystal on the wall then crawled to it once there he checked the dungeon missions

QUEST 1: Protect the dungeon daily

FAILURE: Death

REWARD: 10 stats points daily and 4 skill points daily

QUEST 2: Expand dungeon by core consumption

REWARD: Dungeon Rank up

QUEST 3: Expand dungeon by destroying other dungeons

REWARD: Class Rank up

QUEST 4: Reach max inhabitants for 4 months

REWARD: Dungeon break

QUEST 5: Dungeon break for five hours

FAILURE: Death

REWARD: Rank up, Infamy and Reputation stats unlock

"Great I don't need to level up to get stats and skill point" he smile when he read the first quest reward.

"Ok lets do the second quest" he crawled to the wall then took out the dungeon core from his shadow space putting it against the wall.

"What do I do now?" He sat there waiting for something to happen

[Dungeon core detected....]

[Fusion process (Y/N)]

'Good' he pressed yes to see what would happen

[Fusion process 3 hour until completion..]

"I'll practice how to walk while I wait" Vice crawled to the wall then placed his back against the walk and tried to stand.

"Hmph,hmph huff ha huff ha hmph hmph...." he grunted as he struggle to stand up

'Its going to be hell learning how walk' he thought as he leaned against the wall, his legs where shivering

"Thud"

He slammed to the ground 'my legs are completely fine I have to mentally adjust to being bipedal'

He lifted him self up and sat against the wall before trying again then he saw Valeria at entrance.

"What do you want?" Valeria was fidgeting at the entrance Vice frowned when he saw this

"Im glade you asked that because I was wandering what are you going to do about the bats and nagas?" she walked closer to him

"Im not going to do anything why do ask?" Vice narrowed his eyes as he looked at Valeria fidgeting body

'I don't know why but something tells me she's bad luck I need to make that dungeon break so I can leave this place fast' he thought as he waited for Valeria to speak

"Oh is that so" Valeria made a bitter smile moving here eyes away from Vice "that might be hard when two bats are here to collect"

Vice blinked multiple time trying to process what she said

"What did you say?" He moved his back away from the wall to Valeria so he could hear her.

"I said two bats are here to collect" she took a step back from Vice who's eyes widen then his upper body fell to the ground

"Thud"

"I can't even walk now I have to deal with D-Rank monster's how bad is my luck" he mumbled as he looked at the roof.

"You don't have to fight them they just came to collect" she spoke when she saw him speak to the roof like an idiot

Vice turned his body to look at her "collect what? please tell me they came to collect those glowing red crystal"

She shock her head as she looked at the ground with tears falling from her eyes "they came to get some our people for food"

"Let me guess the previous leader had a deal with them to give them some of you for his life?" He waited for the answer

She shock her head "no he had a deal with the nagas and bats to save the dungeon"

Hearing those words put tears in his eyes 'why do i keep getting demoted first I worked for the snake then i was bait for the pantig now I'm fucking livestock for nagas and bats'

"Sniff"

Vice wanted to cry he was doing his best not to.

"How many do they want?" He asked as he looked to the roof.

"The bats usually take 75 and the nagas take 150 rats" the was a moment of silence on the room when she was done.

'If give them the rats I'll never escape this dungeon so thats not options then If I fight them and win by miracle against bats I have to face the nagas that are C-Rank so that not an option too' he bit his lip as tears filled up in his eyes.

'I can't even run because I'll die the moment I step out of this dungeon' his hands went limp as he kept thinking

'Wait those nagas were talking about the bats what if..' Vice turned to Valeria who was resting on the floor.

He crawled to her and shock her "hey wake up"

"Yawn"

"Yes?" she spoke in a toneless vioce

"Bring them to me" he stared at her puffy eyes

"Should I also prepare the collection" she lowered her head when she spoke

"Stop saying stupid things and go" when Vice said that she blinked multiple times before leaving.

As she left Vice dragged his body to the wall then sat against it waiting for his guest.

After a while two 4 feet(122cm) entered his burrow with Valeria before she dashed off

'I hope this works' Vice looked up at the approaching bats.

"Where's the supply?" the bats looked down at Vice with their mouths drooling.

"The will be no supply" Vice spoke with a bitter smile, the bats looked at each other then

"Munch"

One bat bit a chunk of flesh off his arm the other went for the leg both swallowed his flesh with blood covered smiles

"AAAAAAGHHHH!!!"
