CHAPTER 42: CHAPTER 42: THE ANOMALY 7

"Fuck" Vice looked back to see if any was behind him right now he could see nothing but he could hear them slowly closing the distance

"Huff..huff..huff" he was struggling to breath the space around him seemed to be cramped he glimpsed back only to see a naga behind him, he tightened his grip on the dagger

"Where are the damn corner" his pulse was racing he was looking for anything that could him loss the naga and finally he could see a hole in the left side of the passage but then

"Come here" a bat came out of the passege

’Fuck’ he could hear his own heart beat as he ran to the drooling bat he gritted his teeth as the bat lunged at him

"Agh"

He did his best not to scream as the bat bit him on the left shoulder, he looked at its left eye the stabbed it

"GRR!!"

"CRACK"

As his dagger pierced its eye, the bat tightened its Jaw snapping Vice’s collarbone

"FUUCK!"

He screamed pulling out the dagger from it eyes

"Thud"

The bat threw Vice into right wall of the passage

"Ack"

Vice slammed into the wall then he fall to the ground

"Agh"

He tried to get up quickly but using his left hand was difficult to do with a broken shoulder

He used his right hand to help him stand

"You little shit I’m going to tear off every limb you have" the bats looked at Vice with its right eye

"Fuck it’s shallow" Vice looked at its left eyes as the bat lunged at him again but this time Vice could see its shadow[Shadow hop]

"Thud"

The bats crashed into the wall while Vice reappear behind it and plunged his dagger into it

"AAAGHHHHH...!!!"

It screamed at top of its lunges as Vice stabbed its genitals ’sorry man but it your fault’ he pulled out the dagger and stabbed the bat again in it balls

"YOU VAIL SHIT!!!"

"THUD"

the bat kicked Vice into the wall but it did not turn to attack him it was groaning in pain Vice did waste anytime he took out a healing potion and drank it

In a instant he was healed he stood up ready to attack the bat but then

"Swoosh"

A naga coiled the bat then slowly suffocated it to death while it eyes were locked at Vice the whole time

"Crack"

"Crack"

"Crack"

..

"Splash"

Vice stood there frozen as he watched the naga tighten its body and crush every bone the bat had then the bats head popped like a bulloon its blood splashed everywhere, Vice had some on his face

"Now how do I deal with you" it snapped Vice back to reality as it spoke every muscle in his body tightened as he realised that he could not fight this, he took a step back

"Tell where a the cor.."

"Shatter"

Vice threw the glass battle to the nagas face as it spoke and ran to the passage the bat came from

"You damn rat" the naga removed the glass on it face the looked at the two passages it was standing in front of then it continued to slither right

"Huff huff huff I can’t let that thing capture me" the memory the bats head popping kept replaying and every time he remembered how it died Vice’s top priority was to never get caught by a naga

He kept running but after a while his legs felt weak the only thing keeping him running was the thought of the naga

He saw a passage on the right side of this passage he entered it but only to see a naga slithering to him

"Fuck" he turned back as fast as he could and ran back to his old passage he looked back to see the naga standing in front of the right passage then it open its mouth wide[Poison breath]

His eyes bulged as he saw the green smoke coming at him

His muscles tightened as he ran with everything he had

"No no no no why is there no other passage" he mumbled as he ran down the passage that only had one path he had tear in his eyes as he saw the green smoke was passing him

His muscle betrayed him as they went limb.

He thought how about meaningless his life had been as he lost his speed

He thought about how other than killing and robbing he had done nothing with his life how this was his judgement it made him want to cry

"Thud"

He fell to his knee’s

"Thud"

His whole body fell to the ground, he lay there unable to move a muscle except his mouth

"No I can’t die again" a tear fell from his motionless body

"No please don’t kill me I’ll do anything you want please don’t kill me" he begged as he heard the sound of the snake slithering closer to him, he kept trying to move his muscles but his attempt was pointless

’No I can’t let it pop my head’ he looked for anything that could help him but the was nothing here except walls he knew it as well

"No I’m a child of god please don’t kill me, it’s a sin to kill...." he preached of morality he never had he begged using the religions he never believed in, right now he was saying anything to appeal to naga but it never spoke as it approached him

"No please talk to me, show that you have compassion for other living thing please" he begged when he saw the naga looking down on him but his plea only made it smile.

"Drip"

"Where is the core?" the naga drooled on Vice as it looked at him

Vice eyes widen when he saw the naga was going to kill him

"HEEELP!!!"

He screamed as the naga lifted him off the ground

"HEEELP!!!"

The naga opened it mouth wide as it carried Vice above its mouth

"HEEELP!!!"

"IM THE RAT WHO KNOWS WHERE THE CORE IS HELP!!!"

He screamed hopeful the bats would hear him they were his only hope

"HEEELP!!"

His feet entered the nagas mouth it was swallowing him whole

"HEEELP"

That was Vice’s last scream as it swallowed him whole

"Now I should go find the others" the naga turned around to leave but when it turned it saw multiple bats standing in its way
