Vice stopped walking as he read the number of inhabitants for the 5th time ’Damn its going to be difficult to build my army with such a small number of rat’

"How is that Lucas guy still alive" he narrowed his eyes as read the names "I need to look into that guy"

[Shadow vail] Vice ran through the passage doing his best to avoid the nagas and bats he didn’t trust all of them

After a while he arrived at the exits he could see that it was still raining, the rain was always a drizzle so it never bothered Vice that much

He stepped out of the cave "where should I start"

He opened the dungeon map and smiled the map had the location of its inhabitants in blue dots then there were the red dots

The map showed the blue dots in the outer region, Vice ran down the hill and ran through the tree’s concealed

’Where am I going to hide while they kill each other? The core region will be a battle ground soon I can’t hide here’ Vice was at the edge of the core region running to the middle region

Vice ran into the invisible wall again

He took out a teleportation scroll and tore it then vanished then he reappear in the outer region

The tree’s were further apart here, Vice was suprised by how spacious it was

"Jones!" He screamed the place he had teleported to was the place that had all the blue dots on the map

’Damn it I can’t see a thing’ Vice vision was being blocked by the multiple notification, he was walking through the forest with his arms reached out in front of him

"Jones!" now he needed to find jones before five minutes passed he didn’t know how he’d be forced back

"Fuck" he bumped into a tree

"Valeria!Jones!" He stood still this time and just screamed "Valeria!!"

"How can I help you?" Vice heard an unfamiliar voice

"Who’s there?" He stumbled back then looked in the direction of the voice but he could only see a small blurred figure

"Im Lucas" Vice was suprised but remained calm "Lucas where’s Jones?"

Lucas paused and looked at Vice for a moment " are you the new holder of the stone of life?"

’Why is this bastard asking this?’ Vice wobbled closer to Lucas but Lucas walked away from him

"Hey why are you running away I thought you wanted to talk" Vice could hear Lucas as he walked away

"I don’t know why your blind but I do know your going to kill me the moment you get close to me" Lucas looked back at Vice

"Lucas do think I’m someone that would kill you when I just met you?" Vice was still wobbling to the blurry figure

"Yes I do" Vice stop moving when he heard Lucas answer "why?"

"Your the same ratman that told Valeria to tell everyone the food is running out to make them train by force" as Lucas spoke Vice crouched down

"How is that force?" Vice reached into his shadow

"What your doing is worse than what the first ratman did for control" Lucas to a step back when he saw Vice hand enter the ground "your forcing people to kill themselves by starvation if they don’t obey you then they’ll die not eating the food around them because you told them its poisoned but the worst part is that they die blaming themselves for being weak as they die even those nagas, bats and humans don’t do that although they are monsters they are far better than you, our people knows what kills them but you let them die shackled to a system they can’t even appose what your doing is something that can only be done by demons"

Vice eyes widen as he could not find his dagger, he stood up and looked at Lucas

"Your just making everything I do sound evil and thats nothing but lies," Vice took a step closer to Lucas "I asked them to be strong and I promise them rewards for their efforts and the poison thing is not a lie"

"Don’t lie that ratman transforming is not a reward its a way to strengthen your control over us" Lucas stepped back as Vice stepped closer "your only making them stronger not so they can fight for themselves your making them stronger for your purpose that we don’t know"

Vice squinted his eyes, "then would you rather they live the rest of their lives weak and as food? Your ungrateful look at what I did to this place it has everything you need to survive but instead of thanking me you accuse me of being a demon" he crouched down again his eyes looked an a blurry figure

For a moment Lucas had no response "I am thankful for everything you’ve done for my people.." Vice smiled as he listened to Lucas "..but you know everything you’ve done was not for us it was for yourself" Vice frowned as he continued to listen to Lucas[Shadow hop]

Vice reappeared behind the figures he had been looking at and grabbed it

"I have you now you piece of shit" Vice crushed the figure but it did not fell like flesh

"I knew I should have never tried to speak with you" Lucas ran when he saw Vice trying to chock a rock he was standing next to.

He saw a figure that seemed white and had the same height as him

"Stay quite the nagas and bats will hear you" a familiar feminine voice whispered at him

"Valeria is that you?" Vice smiled when he head Valerias voice and crouched down

"Yes but don’t make any noise" she whispered as trying to make him lower his voice

"Stop doing that the nagas and bats won’t attack you for now" Vice stood up and reached out his hand that had a scroll

Valeria looked at Scarlet and Fraye trying to process what Vice said

"Why?" They all asked

Vice was suprised by the other voices but worry about it " take the scroll and give it to Jones tell him the humans a coming" the girls are gasped

"Why?" They all asked

"Tell him to do what he did last time but this time he must make sure he is not seen by anyone do you understand" he ignored the girls questions

"Yes"Valeria took the scroll "can you please tell me why the bats and nagas are not attacking?" Scarlet and Freya leaned closer

"We made a deal to help each other to fight against the humans" the girls eyes widen

"We have to fight the humans?" Scarlet spoke as looked at Valeria

"No you guys hide and make sure the humans don’t find a single rat" The all nodded as they listened to Vice

Vice felt his mana get drained in an instant then he fell to the ground the girls eyes widen as the looked at him

He vanished and reappeared in the cave that he was with the nagas earlier
