CHAPTER 63: CHAPTER 63: THE HUNTER

’Walking around like that was careless, but it’s a good thing I’m only dealing goblins’ he saw fleshs of sunlight as they carried him through the forest

’The moment the poison wears off I’ll kill them’ he wasn’t concerned about them harming him they are just goblin but suddenly the goblins stopped walking

"Brothers this one is big we should stab it again" the goblin with the tooth sticking out of its mouth spoke, Vice heart raced

’I need to do something to buy some time’ he tried but the was nothing he could do, the poison was so strong he couldn’t even feel his lips he just watched the dead leaves get blown off the trees

"Brother Uga" they took out their darts and stabbed Vice as they smiled at Uga

"Brother your home can have its leg my..."They walked deeper into the forest cheerfully chatting about how they were going to share and cook Vice

’This might be a problem I need to distract them long enough for poison to wear off’ as Vice was planning his escape he heard whispers and giggles up on the tree’s

He saw vines that had twigs tied to them to make a ladder leading up a tree

"Chief!!" One of the goblins screamed

’I’ll do the plan now’ he look at the goblin coming out of the tree houses smiling as they looked down on him

"What boy?" A hobgoblin spoke in a deep tone as it stepped out of the tree house

"Thud"

The goblin dropped Vice and kneeled "chief, Toka brought food" the other goblins glared at the skinny goblin that trembled as it saw the chief lick its mouth with it bottom tooth sticking out

"Thud"

The chief jump down the tree its 5 foot body did not need to use the vine ladder, it looked at the the Toka skinny body, he seemed as if he never ate

The leaves stopped shaking as it walked to Toka "Toka, yell for me to come out" it looked down with it hunched back, its limbs dangled near the ground as its hands balled into fists

Toka looked up and nodded his head, his friends looked down then shut their eyes

"Thud"

The chief swang at Toka sending him flying to a trunk, leaves fell as Tuka hit the tree

"No yelling" it looked at the others who nodded their he heads, it licked its lips as it took a step closer to Vice but its eyes widen as a green portal appeared

It looked at Uga "you call the elder" Uga ran to the elders tree

"You two put food away" the two goblins nodded then grabbed Vice legs and dragged him away

The chief looked at Vice with a smile "wait for me food" it mumbled as it wiped away some drool

’That hurts you bastards’ Vice head hit the rocks and roots as the goblin dragged him ’it a bad time for the poison to start wearing off’

The goblins stopped walking, he heard leaves being pushed then the groaning of twigs

’They keep their food underground’ the goblins threw him into the pit, they closed the pit with a twig fance then covered it with leaves

’The dungeon had two hunters in it, they kill each other while I wait’ Vice moved his hand feeling his surrounding then he heard something step on the twig

’Goblins don’t use cologne’ [Dark embrace] although he could not see outside he knew whatever was standing on the exit was not goblin, its cologne filled the air making it had for Vice to breath

Then he heard its footsteps walking away ’I can still smell the cologne’ he kept his skill on, waiting for the air to clear out the cologne but the skill deactivated

’Fuck I don’t have mana’ he did not make a single sound as he held his breath to avoid being detected then the leaves covering the pit burned, his eyes widen

He looked at the burning tree’s as black smoke filled the air

"HUFF"

He took a deep breath and stayed quite as he heard screams outside

’She must have followed me here’ he clenched his jaw as the twigs covering the pit burn ’if someone is psycho enough to follow me into this dungeon I can’t let them find me’

All he could hear now was the sizzling sounds of the flames as the tree’s burned ’the goblins are dead’

"Snap"

The red hot twigs snapped and fell into the pit ’fuck,fuck,fuck,fuck’ he clenched jaw tighter as the twigs touch his skin burning some of his fur off

’I can’t make any noise, I can’t make any noise’ he pushed the twigs away from his body

He took out a healing potion, opened his mouth and let the potion flow inside his body with out making sound

"HUFF" he took a deep breath and waited

He slowly popped out his head, the forest was now partial barren a few black stumps remained near him

He could see tree’s far away from him but they had turned black ’what kind of lunatic is after me?’ he looked at the green portal that was floating on black soil

’No what if she went into the portal’ he looked at the dungeon maps and there were multiple red dots inside

’Both dungeons have people inside’ he stepped out of the pit, he turned and looked in the direction he came from

’She burned everything’ all he could see were a few black stumps but everything had been burned even the gentle slope had turned black

’The moment she comes out of the dungeon she’ll head for the trees’ he ran back in the direction of the slope to the sand

"What are you doing here?" Luna spoke as she looked at Lorenzo and Jenny

"Mrs, we were told to investigate this dungeon while they prepare to come after you but we are glad to see you back" Lorenzo smiled

’That monster moved the dungeon to this world’ she looked at the laps of water hitting the shoreline

’I cannot tell them they are in another world’ she clenched her jaw ’I will give them my teleportation scroll and wait for S-Rank hunters to find me’

A scroll flew out of her ring and she gave it to Lorenzo "listen to me carefully, this scroll is locked for outside the red portal once you appear outside inform the Association that I am trapped to send hunters with multiple scroll in one hour"

"Tell them the red portal has goblins do not concern yourselves try to understand, the association will understand" Lorenzo and Jenny looked at each other then tore the scroll and vanished

She looked at the video on her watch ’It has the head of a rat and can understand human speech’

’I do not know how it is related to my son incident but I will find out when I burn it to death’ the water in the lake boiled as the tree’s burned
