CHAPTER 7 - 7: THE DAILY STRUGGLES OF A MOUSE 3

After some back and forth Vice was able to convince Rex to give him the cores

"Finally with these mana cores I can awaken" the mana cores were a little bigger than his head

'Getting those things inside was difficult' he was currently in a hole he dag at the base of a tree

It's was time to awaken.

Vice tried to do crossed leg pose as a mouse and naturally failed.

"Fuck, how am I supposed to awaken now, all of my technique are useless" he finally realised that all of his human techniques would never work on a mouse body.

"Fuck I have to wait for 4 weeks to awaken natural" all Vice needed to do to awaken was modify the human techniques for the mouse body but he was too ignorant to even try.

"Fuck it I'll think about it tomorrow" he close his eyes and went to sleep.

In a burrow two middle age rabbits.

One had brown fur the other had black fur, they were chatting about the fate of their colony

"So what should we do about this matter Alpha?" the brown rabbit spoke

"That snake is probably long gone the is nothing we can do now but wait" Alpha spoke in a calm tone

"Your son is dead how can you be this calm?!" The brown rabbit had a hint of anger in his tone.

"Dev no parent should have to bury their child, Tim will get justice and so will your son Mik but now we wait, we cannot put the colony in danger because of our feelings" Dev was not pleased with the answer Alpha gave but he understood that the colony stood above his personal vendettas.

"How long?" Dev asked barely holding his emotions in check

"Five days, the snake will probably be back in 4 days but we will move in 5 days" Alpha could see that Dev did not like his answers but he understood that it was for the greater good of the colony.

"I'll prepare the soldiers" Dav spoke as he left Alpha in his burrow

'Tim forgive me for not being able to get you justice sooner' Alpha thought.

He was happy to see the leveling system worked the same as it did when he was human, every level up everyone would get 5 stat points and 2 skill points, he used all those stat points playing catch up with his agility.

What made him happy was the skill he got from taking Mik's life.

Bite: your teeth are now classified as weapons and can be use to attack any living creature.

After eating the leaves he stored in his hole, he left the hole with the two mana cores inside he wanted to store them in his shadow space but he couldn't open his space with out mana.

He climbed a tree and waited for the rabbits to come. Time went by fast and now the sun was setting.

"They'll come tomorrow" he went into his hole to sleep.

"Where the fuck are they, now I have to go look for them my self" another day had come and gone, he went back into his hole and slept.

"Yawn"

it was a new day

"I only have two day before that Rex comes" he got out of his hole and went the direction he saw Roxxy run to.

"That rabbit tracks have vanished, I have to ask the animals around for any tips" he climbing a tree and started to search for animal that might have any type of information.

While searching he saw 4 wolves that seemed to be hunting but didn't approach because he knew he might be on their menu, just as he was about to leave he got an idea.

"HEY WOLF I HAVE SOMETHING THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU!" He screamed from a distance

"Its rude to speak to others, while hiding behind a tree branch" a female wolf easily pinpointed the direction of the message.

"I VALUE MY LIFE SO I WON'T SHOW MY SELF UNTIL WE'VE COME TO AN AGREEMENT!" Vice spoke while still in hiding.

"Vito,Vincent and Victor surround that tree" the three wolves now surrounded the tree that Vice was hiding in.

"Now come down little mouse or we come up" the female wolf had great sense of smell when it came near the tree it smelled the scent of an appetizer.

"Victoria are you serious you called us here to surround a mouse" Victor spoke in a tone that showed that he was annoyed

"Shut up little brother and let your big si...."

"I HAVE SOMETHING THAT WILL LEAD YOU TO THE RABBITS!" Again he made a guess that the other party would be interested in his offer to prolong his life.

"YOU DO?!!!" All four wolves spoke in sync

"Boys one at a time" seeing their sister glare at them all 3 wolves stayed quit.

"Mouse come down so we can speak, I'm tired of having to look up we won't kill you" she spoke with a smile on her face and sweet tone.

'They won't kill me since I have something of value to them' Vice descended down the tree reaching the wolves.

"Tell me everything you know before I start cutting your limbs off" she spoke in a not-so-sweet tone looking down at the mouse.

"Three days ago a fox passed by and killed two rabbit and one rabbit got away, I didnt see where the rabbit went but I have two mana core's that might help you find their colony" Vice lied because he knew if he told F-Rank monsters to face a peak E-Rank monster his offer would look less attractive.

"And these two mana core belonged to the dead rabbits?" she spoke with a gaze that had great scrutiny

"Yes"

"Lead us to them" she was confident in her skills, if she got one whiff of the scent she would go in the general direction that the escaped rabbit went and look for similar scents.

They followed Vice to the cores.
