CHAPTER 8 - 8: THE DAILY STRUGGLES OF A MOUSE 4

Vice was currently leading the wolves to his home

"You must be planing to kill me after I show you where the mana core are?" Victoriaeyes widened when she heard mouse.

"So your leading us in the wrong direction?" Victoria stopped moving

"No we are going in the right direction" Vice kept moving knowing that his answer would confuse her and make her curious about his motive.

"What are you planning?" Her curiosity got the best of her and because of this Vice knew he had won

"...." he just kept walking

"Tell me what do you want before I get angry" She said leaning close to Vice with a smile showing her sharp teeth.

"...."

"I want to help you" he spoke with a fake smile on his face

"Help us?" She smirked when she heard those words

"Yes help, your going to need me if you want to get all the rabbits" Vice spoke with confidence in his skills

"We can capture a few rabbit by our selves we don't need your help" she didn't bother looking at Vice as she replied.

"Yes I know that you can capture a few rabbit but I said all

" he remained calm even when he saw the wolf was annoyed by his antics

"How?" She asked as she walked closer to Vice.

"You don't know the den(warren) of the rabbits, so if you go the with your pack I'm confident that most of the rabbits will escape using multiple exits but if you send me to infiltrate their ranks I can map out there entire den even all of their exits" Vice spoke knowing that the naive wolf would take the bait

"And what do you want?" Vice eyes widen when he heard her question.

"I'm not a greedy mouse all I want are a few mana cores" although Vice was surprised by the wolf's question he easily made up an believable excuse because both human and monsters use mana core.

"Ok it's a deal I look forward to our partnership" they smiled at each other excited by their partnership.

"We have arrived" the four wolves now stood in front of a tree waiting for Vice to come out with the cores

"Here they are" he rolled them to the wolves

"Whiff..whiff..whiff" they were now sniffing the mana core's

"Sis the scent seems to go to the deeper part of the forest" Vito spoke assured in his tracking skills.

"So the deeper part of the forest is where the fox went?" She asked Vice with a questionable gaze

"Yes, the rabbit went into in the direction of the outer part of the forest" he pointed to the direction in which the rabbit escaped to.

"Time to hunt boy's" the wolves moved toward the outer region

The forest is divided into three parts the outer, middle,core/deep region. Weak animals live in the outer region this is where Vice is from, middle region is were strong animals lived but the core/deep region is where monsters live. The snake and wolf's lived at the edge of the middle region near the core region.

"We finally found a similar scent to the mana cores" the wolves followed the scent and it lead them to a hole

"So sis are they in there?" Vito had a smile on his face

"What are we waiting for let's get them" Victor muscles tightened as he look at the hole ready to pounce

"No we have to get some pack members to hunt an entire rabbit colony" She spoke stopping Victor from jumping into a hole he could fit into.

"Mouse it time for you to do you part of the deal, we'll be behind the bushes waiting for you" after Victoria spoke, the 4 wolves ran toward the bushes.

"Hello!" He screamed into the hole.

'How the fuck is there no security here they are so careless' he thought

"What the fuck is a filthy mouse doing here" a muscular brown rabbit hopped out of the hole and appeared behind Vice

"The soldiers go on training for two days and a mouse gets brave enough to play around here, I must teach your place" the rabbit stepped closer to Vice preparing to attack

"I CAME HERE TO SPEAK ABOUT TIM!" Vice screamed as the rabbit fist was inches away from his face, he was lucky that he heard their names before they died.

"What did you say?" The rabbit mouth was wide open.

"Three days ago a snake killed two rabbits one of them was named Tim I forgot the name of the other one but it was brown" the rabbit seemed to be deep in thought when it heard those words.

"Come in" the rabbit hoped into the hole and told Vice to follow

"What is that filthy thing doing here" a rabbit spoke as it saw Vice

"Is that a mouse disgusting" another spoke

"What is general Dev thinking" another spoke

'I'm going to make sure everyone in this den(warren) dies' he vowed to kill every rabbit in here as he was listening every comment they made about him.

"Alpha can I come in" Dev spoke

"Come in Dev" a voice spoke inside the burrow

Vice and Dev stepped into to the burrow to see a black muscular rabbit doing push ups

"Why is that filth thing doing behind you?" Alpha for a moment sneered at Vice but quickly hid it

"Tell him what you told me, filth" hearing Dev words Vice bit his lip and started to tell them about how their children died.

"Why did you come here" dispite hearing about how his child dead alpha seemed calm, he seemed to understand that the mouse's motive went beyond just telling them this.

"Before that snake killed those rabbits it kill my wife, my close friend and his wife.... ever since that day I have been following that snake learning everything about it. I want you to help me get vengeance and I'll help you do the same" Vice spoke doing his best acting performance.

"How can you help us, when don't have any strength and your body has yet to awaken" Alpha spoke with a calculating gaze

"Although I lack strength, I do have information about the snake. I know his strengths and weaknesses and most importantly I know when he'll come to the edge of the outer region and at what time." hearing this both rabbits looked at each other then looked at the Vice with narrowed eyes.

"Let me guess with all of this information you have a plan?" Alpha spoke in a controlled tone

"Yes" Vice nodded

"Then don't keep us waiting" Alpha and Dev walked close to Vice

"The snake is peak E-Rank it very close to breaking through it can use venom and water skills, it's greatest advantage is in water or in open space" Alpha and Dev were listening intent.

"Since he'll be nowhere near water when he comes here the thing we must do is put him in a small cramped space to remove his mobility" he then looked at Alpha and paused

"What do you want me to do?" Alpha asked as if he understood that the was something to Vice look.

"I want you to allow me to lead the snake to your den(warren)"
