I watched in shock as Mr. Burns somehow opened the purple spherical prison.

"Nobita, I'll take care of the core destruction device. You go after Guillermin - we can't let him escape!"

Mr. Burns shouted at me.

"Got it!" I nodded, realizing that as Morina's father and a doctor, he must know what he's doing. That put my mind at ease.

I grabbed my Take-copter and took off after Guillermin. He had just launched his airship and hadn't gotten far yet. The airship was slower than his original spaceship and couldn't even make hyperspace jumps. He was slowly trying to escape.

Guillermin just needed to reach the spaceport to get off this planet. Then he'd be home free. But before he could finish that hopeful thought, he spotted me chasing after him with my Take-copter.

"What? That Earthling is coming after me? Doesn't he care about Planet Koya Koya and Mr. Burns's lives?"

Guillermin panicked, pushing the airship to maximum speed.

Seeing the airship accelerate, I knew Guillermin had spotted me. I had to use my trump card, even though I'd just learned it and wasn't sure if it would work. It might drain all my mental energy like when I used Shinra Tensei before. That's why I hadn't used it on the battlefield earlier - if I ran out of energy and couldn't use my force field, I'd be in danger.

But now we were far from the battle, with no one else around. So as I pursued with my Take-copter, I stretched out my hand and focused on Guillermin's airship ahead.

Slowly, I uttered the words: "Universal Pull!"

Invisible psychic force shot towards Guillermin's airship, enveloping it like a spider's web.

"What's happening? Move, damn you!" Guillermin raged, pounding the control panel in frustration.

My face had gone pale as my mental energy rapidly drained. I realized I wouldn't be able to forcibly pull the airship back. I needed another plan.

Suddenly, I had an idea. Using my psychic power, I slowly tilted the airship's nose downward. Guillermin seemed to realize what was coming and frantically tried to shut off the engines.

But I didn't give him the chance. Once the airship was tilted about 90 degrees towards the ground, I abruptly released my psychic hold.

"It's over," Guillermin said with a bitter laugh.

The airship plummeted like an arrow released from a bow. When it struck the ground, the nose crumpled and shattered. Then with a thunderous BOOM, the entire airship exploded.

Well, that saves on cremation costs, I thought darkly. He must be obliterated.

Still, I waited for the flames to die down before going to sift through the wreckage, just to be sure. Yep, definitely dead - in extremely gory fashion.

How could I be so certain? Well, when someone's in pieces scattered all over, it's pretty clear they're not coming back from that. Sure, I may shout cool Naruto jutsu names, but this world doesn't have Edo Tensei resurrection techniques!

At least the guy probably died instantly - I didn't hear any screams or anything. A dead villain is the best kind of villain. I breathed a sigh of relief.

But while I was pondering all this, Mr. Burns was busy trying to stop the core destruction device...

Mr. Burns approached the control panel of the core destruction device, attempting to use his technical knowledge to deactivate it. But as he fiddled with the controls, his expression grew increasingly grim.

The device's harsh blue glow cast eerie shadows across his face, highlighting the beads of sweat trickling down. After a while, he slumped down dejectedly by the edge of the machine.

He didn't seem panicked, but his hands shook as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes he'd grabbed from the bar earlier. He'd never been much of a smoker before, but after being trapped in hyperspace for so long, he'd impulsively taken them just to feel a connection to normal life again.

Now it seemed this would be both his first and last time smoking them, he thought bitterly.

He picked up an energy pistol dropped by one of Galtite's lackeys. After some quick modifications, he used it to light his cigarette in an almost reverent ritual.

As wisps of smoke rose, Mr. Burns coughed violently. "Ugh, how can anyone enjoy this stuff?" But after another drag, he admitted, "Hm, not bad actually. No wonder it's so popular."

"Time to get to work," he muttered, brushing off his pants. Cigarette dangling from his lips, he walked over to the orange machine with its giant mechanical hands - the same one that had injured Roppuru. Now it would be the instrument of his own demise as well.

Mr. Burns operated the controls, moving the machine to grasp the core destruction device in its massive metal palms. After programming the final sequence, he slumped back in the pilot's seat, motionless except for the faint glow of his cigarette betraying his turbulent emotions.

Meanwhile, Doraemon, Dorami, Morina and the others had arrived on the scene. Nobita had just finished off Guillermin and rejoined the group.

"Papa, where are you?!" Morina cried out.

"Morina, you're here!" Mr. Burns's voice crackled over the machine's radio, trembling slightly.

"Papa, what's wrong?" Morina sensed something was amiss. The others also felt uneasy.

"Morina, there's no use hiding it. The core destruction device can't be stopped. To save Planet Koya Koya, I'm going to activate a hyperspace jump and detonate it in hyperspace," Mr. Burns explained bluntly.

"No, this can't be happening!" Morina collapsed to the ground.

"Nobita, please, you have to save him!" she begged, clutching Nobita's hand desperately.

"Morina, don't put this on Nobita. There's nothing anyone can do now. He's already done more than enough for our planet. It's time for us to save ourselves," Mr. Burns said with a heavy sigh. "Nobita, I'm entrusting Morina to you."

"Morina, Nobita is a good young man. He'll take care of you. You two should get along well," he continued. "I'm so sorry, Morina. I've broken my promise again - I only just returned and now I have to leave. From now on, you'll have to walk your path with Nobita. He'll look after you in my place."

"Time's up. Remember, live on - live for my sake as well."

The radio transmission cut off with a burst of static.

They watched as the giant mechanical hands grasped the core destruction device and vanished into hyperspace. The last thing they saw was a flash of blue light as it detonated - as hauntingly beautiful and sorrowful as Koya Koya's blue moon.
