Now, what's left is the issue of Planet Koyakoya.

Don't be fooled just because it looks like we've defeated Galtite Mining and Koyakoya has regained peace. As long as Garutite ore exists on this planet, new invaders will always be drawn here. In my previous life, there were countless cases where people fought over energy like this.

When I explained this to Morina and the others, of course, it made them anxious. So I laid out two options for them: One, they could leave Koyakoya, and I'd take them to a new planet—or even to Earth if they wanted. The other option was to stay on Koyakoya, and I'd help them solve the current problem, but after that, they'd have to build up the planet themselves. And honestly, this path would be very dangerous.

Clem and her mother? Well, they'd basically do whatever I asked, even if it meant going to Earth. They didn't really have any strong opinions of their own.

But Morina was different.

"I want to develop Koyakoya," she said, absolutely determined.

"If that's what you want, then sure!" I respected everyone's wishes. Love isn't slavery—there's no need to tie everyone together. We all have our own personalities, and that's fine.

So, I agreed with Morina's plan. Of course, before I left, I'd make sure everything was set up properly for her.

A few days later, it was time to take action.

First, I spread a rumor: that the mayor and Gamoran had secretly colluded with Galtite Mining, which directly led to the deaths of Mr. Burns and Roppuru. The mayor and Gamoran were suddenly overwhelmed by the rumor.

Then I stirred up the immigrants here, pushing them to choose a new mayor. How did I do it? The usual—coercion and tempting offers. After Galtite Mining left, I was the most powerful one here, plus I had a savior's aura. It was easy to rally everyone.

The mayor and Gamoran wanted to resist, but that night I paid them a visit at home. After our little chat, they stepped down quietly. If even Galtite Mining couldn't defeat me, what could they do?

They probably didn't expect that after driving out Galtite Mining, they'd end up with me as their ruler.

With my support, Mr. Burns's daughter—the hero's heir who sacrificed so much for Koyakoya—became the new mayor. Morina wanted to refuse, but I told her straight up:

"Would you really trust someone else with Koyakoya? If you want to develop this planet, you need power, otherwise your ideas will never become reality! Besides, would you really let those immigrants who indirectly caused your father and Roppuru's deaths get away with it?"

That convinced her. Morina took power into her own hands.

The first thing she did? She listened to my advice and created her own security force—because without force, there's no real government! Once we had an army, things got much easier.

But Morina wasn't ruthless. Every now and then, she'd exile a few of the immigrants who'd abandoned her father, then bring in new people—replacing the old population with her own people bit by bit.

What about the mayor and Gamoran? They'd already been exiled, but to be safe, and not to attract the attention of the Space Patrol or expose myself, I secretly hired a mercenary group in the universe and had them killed off—completely erased, not even ashes left.

Then came the issue of the Space Patrol. With all that had happened here, of course they'd show up to investigate. But I pinned everything on Galtite Mining. Let them take the blame—after all, they really did do most of it. The police checked and it was all true.

Besides, Galtite Mining had made a lot of enemies, and recently their main company was completely busted—all arrested, no way they could come back for Koyakoya.

That meant I had nothing left to worry about.

But then I brought up an idea that Morina and the others found hard to accept.

I wanted to sell the Garutite ore.

"No way, no way! How could you? Wouldn't that make us just like the mayor and Gamoran? That's selling out Koyakoya!" Morina shook her head, stubborn as ever.

I was speechless. She wanted to develop Koyakoya and protect the environment, but where did she think the money would come from?

"Morina, have you thought about it? Without money, how are you going to protect Koyakoya?"

"And as long as the Garutite ore is here, there's no way the planet will ever be truly at peace."

"The only way is to mine it all out. That's the real solution!"

I tried to reason with her.

"But… what about the pollution?" Morina's conviction finally wavered.

"You'll be in charge of the money from selling the Garutite ore! Koyakoya is under your control now, remember?"

I looked at her, almost like I couldn't believe how naive she was.

"If you have money, you can clean up the pollution from the mining. And since you're the one overseeing everything, how could there be any pollution you don't know about?"

"But, I'm still worried…" Morina hesitated.

"Just start with a pilot project, okay?" I rubbed my forehead, a bit exasperated.

Honestly, I was worried that once I left, Morina might not be able to manage Koyakoya properly. But from what I'd observed these past days, she was doing pretty well—at least, nothing big had gone wrong.

After a test run mining a small batch of Garutite ore, we found that as long as the pollution was dealt with in time, there was no problem.

Morina sighed in relief.

Looks like we can really get things started now, she thought happily.

I made sure to pour some cold water on her enthusiasm.

"Don't forget the Space Patrol's cut!"

Back when the Space Patrol came to investigate Galtite Mining, I'd already cozied up to a few of them. Later, I even befriended their higher-ups. Basically, we had a simple protection network now.

As long as we didn't go too far, the Space Patrol would help us out—or just turn a blind eye if anything happened. That's what you call protection money!

Turns out, connections are everything, no matter where you are in the universe.

To these immigrants, the Garutite ore might seem like a lot, but compared to the whole universe, it was nothing. That's why Galtite Mining only sent a branch here—the headquarters had better places to focus on and didn't care much about Koyakoya. The Space Patrol were even bigger; managing to make friends with a couple of them was just me flexing my social skills.

But that's good. With such a small amount, no one would covet it, and once all the Garutite ore was mined out, Morina and the others could finally live normal lives.

After I'd finished arranging every last detail on Koyakoya, it was finally time for me to return to Earth. I'd been gone too long, and honestly, I was starting to miss home.
