A forced evolution

"Mom, I need to give you something."

"What is it?"

I asked her, but in reality I imagined what it could be.

Eris started climbing up to the ceiling and walked in the direction of the moon.

Since she is a spider. I think it was normal for her to be able to walk upside down like it was nothing, but it still amazed me. Once she was on the moon, she lowered herself to gather something I could not see clearly, but I thought it was another orb.

I asked as I took the orb from Eris, who looked like she could not hold the orb’s weight any further.

"You just need to put a few drops of blood on it."

As i put down the orb, I plucked a feather from my wing and hardened it whit mana Once ready, I cut my hand and let the blood fall on the orb. After a few seconds, the orb started glowing more intensely as its shape slowly changed into a staff.

"What is this? It is not to be a staff!"

Eris shouted in shock as she looked at the staff. It looked familiar to me; it was black in the middle section, and it also had golden hoops at each end with a dragon decoration.

That staff resembled the Ruyi Jingu Bang I saw in a game I loved to play in my past life.

"Interesting. I wonder if it’s the same as the one I know."

I grabbed the staff and swung for a while.

"You are really good at wilding it."

"In my last life I was a big fan of the Monkey King, so I learned how to use the staff."

"I will tell you later, for now is the time to find out if this staff is similar to the one I know of."

I closed my eyes and focused on the staff. If it was similar to the one I knew of, it would change his size for when I would have opened my eyes.

’It’s ben one month and a half since we stared absorbing the orb, since we touched it.’

[Don’t rush it! Enjoy the process you noticed that every time i absorb around ten percent of the orb, you grow stronger, right?]

’Well, the insane skill growth and the speed at which i mastered the staff were something that i expected but why i am growing so fast after absorbing the orb?’

[If I focus solely on it, it will take me around a week or so.]

"Lady Nyx, Lady Eris is about to wake up."

After walking back to my room, I took a shower. Once I got out, I noticed that Rose had something on her mind.

"Rose, is everything okay?"
