"So how did you make this place?" I asked casually as I began moving around the room.

"To make a hidden room that even the principal can’t detect, it must have taken many efforts from multiple strong people, right?"

"Who helped you to build this place?"

"How did you meet them? When did you meet them? How did you communicate? What do you know about this demon in the cell?"

My questions lingered in the air, but Lynn didn’t talk.

I chuckled. "The old way, huh?"

I took a needle and dipped it into the small bottle that contained black liquid. It was a small poison that only caused pain and helped the body to stay conscious.

Taking the needle back, I moved to Lynn and grabbed her hand. Then, with a high accuracy, I covered the needle in lightning and stabbed under one of her fingernails.

The lightning was carefully controlled, moving through her nerves to cause pain with the minimal amount of harm.

Before she could register the intense pain, I stomped one of her toes, crushing it completely.

"AAAAHHH—!" She screamed, her voice raw in agony.

I muttered calmly. "2 out of 20. Will you answer now or should I continue?"

With a shaking voice mixed with sobs, she opened her mouth: "Please... they know where my family lives..."

"Oh!" I returned to the chair and began dipping another needle on the liquid. "I’m really interested in knowing who ’They’

are."

She bit her lips and endured the pain, refusing to talk.

I let out a sigh and stabbed the needle under one of her toenails and twisted one of her fingers.

I waited for her to talk, but she only screamed, so I repeated the process while recharging the former needles.

With every pierced needle and broken toe or finger, her agony only increased, yet, she didn’t say anything useful.

I was surprised by her willpower as a normal person. Most people of my past life would break by now.

"It hurts... It hurts..." She kept repeating under her breath.

"I don’t understand. Why are you scared?" I asked curiously. "No one would know anything about this. You will just answer my questions and return to your normal life trying to get that flower, so why not answer?"

She opened her shaking mouth, hesitation visible in her eyes, but then she closed it again.

Truly, what a shame. I really wanted to end this as fast as possible.

"Only blame yourself then." I sent a small current of lightning to the needles. The sounds of scream and scent of burning flesh lingered through the air.

I dipped the dagger in the poison and heated it with my lightning, then slowly, I cut one of her ears.

"You saw the healing potion on the table, right?" I said before stabbing the tip of her shoulder. "You only need to answer me honestly and everything will end peacefully."

I grabbed the potion and opened it, then dropped a little of the liquid on her new shoulder injury.

Immediately, the flesh regenerated and her skin covered it without leaving any scars.

I dipped another needle in the poison then brought it and the healing potion before Lynn.

"You have 5 seconds. If you answer a question, I’ll heal you. If you don’t, another needle will pierce your body."

With teary eyes and a shaking voice, she finally talked. "I met them... in the red area in my first year... 2 years ago."

I waited for her patiently to calm down then she continued: "They showed me... photos of my mother and sister... and threatened to harm them if I didn’t listen to their orders..."

I healed her ear, making her feel some relief as she inhaled slowly and continued: "At first, they only made me rent this land under my name and build an inn... after a year, they told me to start working here while replacing the crystals once a week, I swear I don’t know how they built it!"

Though I couldn’t confirm her words like Celestia, I could still get some hints from her body language to know if she was lying.

Unless she was a professional liar, she couldn’t hide anything.

For now, I believed her and allowed her to continue.

"They... also ordered me to go to the red area once a month... it-it’s not always about childbearing. We were communicating there while doing stuff..."

I asked: "What about the demon?"

With a sniff, she answered: "2 weeks ago... When I entered this room, I-I found them waiting. They ordered me to not touch the demon... that’s all. I don’t know anything about them! Please... take the needles out!"

"I want to." I shook my head. "But that’s not all. You still didn’t tell me who they are, what they look like, what their positions are, or even how many they are."

Her expression turned grim instantly. "I can’t... please... I’ll do anything but this."

I let out a sigh as I pierced a point between her ribs with the needle. Her screams and suffering became more intense.

With the dagger, I stabbed the centre of both her hands, then placed the dagger in the centre of her feet as lightning crackled around it entering her nerves.

Ignoring her screams, I said coldly: "On my father’sname, no one will know what you tell me. And I won’t hurt you again. I’ll even protect you and your family. That’s my word."

"I-I accept! Please make it stop..."

I took the dagger and the needles instantly then waited for her to calm down. She seemed to be suffering from just breathing, but that was her fault for not cooperating.

After healing the area between her ribs and waiting a minute, she finally began to speak.

"They were 4... 1 beastman, 2 humans and 1 elf..."

She began to describe them in detail.

She didn’t know their names or positions, but due to how she was meeting them, she knew every part of their bodies.

After she finished talking, I nodded in satisfaction as I began to free her. "Good. I have some more questions and don’t dare to lie. Is that little dwarf involved?"

Lynn suddenly began to shake her head aggressively. "NO! Please no... he isn’t! I swear he isn’t!"

I raised an eyebrow at her unnatural reaction. Was there something between them?

"Another question." I said as I put all the chains in my storage. "Where are the items you use to open this room?"

Her mouth opened wide as she stared at the exit, maybe surprised that I entered without them.

She took a deep breath, enduring the pain of the injuries I didn’t heal and said. "They are in my dorm... in Elyndra. It’s in—"

"Nevermind. Last question and you will be free." I removed my mask and smiled at her. Her teary eyes lit up with hope.

"Do you know anyone else who may be involved like you? Any other girl in the red area for example?"

Unfortunately, Lynn only shook her head.

"Haa... fine, you can go now."

I sat on the chair and took an instant purple coffee from my storage and a cup, then began to boil some water with my lightning to make the coffee.

Lynn looked at me with hesitation at first. Then she tried to stand up.

*Thud!*

She fell on the ground, her physical and mental states didn’t allow her to walk.

So she crawled.

Maybe her mind wasn’t working well to realize that she wouldn’t be able to climb the stairs, but she crawled anyway.

Taking a sip of coffee, I called: "Hey Lynn."

She froze in her place as she forced her head to turn at me.

I gave her a charming, kind smile. "Do you know how my father, who I swore on his name, died?"

Her face turned into something between nervousness and confusion.

I took another sip of coffee as I casually said: "I killed him."

The next moment, Glutton turned into his tentacle form and attacked her.

His small teeth began to slowly eat her and tear her flesh up with every bite.

The heavy scent of blood and coffee lingered through the air, reminding me of my past life.

Lynn screamed for help, cried from pain, begged for mercy, and offered to do anything for me.

However, I just kept observing the scene with a wide smile and a small cup of the coffee.

Eventually... The screams were replaced by chewing noises.
