Chapter 49: Mother’s Arrival
CHAPTER 49: MOTHER’S ARRIVAL
The next day. The morning sun shone into the room, kissing Losiya’s profile. Losiya grumbled unhappily, then hugged Julian and rolled over again.
Julian, woken first by Losiya’s body weight, let out a grunt from within her embrace. Unable to open his eyes, he used his strength to free himself.
"Hoo..."
He woke his upper body from under the covers, rubbing his sleepy, blurry eyes. He leaned against the headboard, eyes closed, letting out a comfortable sigh of rest.
"You’re awake?"
Not long after, Losiya also woke up, forcibly pulling Julian back into the covers, wanting him to sleep in a little longer with her.
Stroking Julian’s face with one hand, Losiya lazily mused, "What did you eat last night? You suddenly became so powerful, and in the end, you even dared to sit on top of me..."
Julian’s left eye immediately shut, afraid that his momentary wavering would give Losiya a clue.
After the teasing session with Lady Catherine last night, he had practically walked straight back to Losiya’s room. That night, his performance in bed was exceptionally vigorous, as if he knew no fatigue.
Losiya, of course, didn’t know the reason, because if she did, she would most likely explode right now.
Taking advantage of the darkness, he often couldn’t clearly see Losiya’s face, only vaguely her outline and body.
This gave him endless room for fantasy.
Lady Catherine, as Losiya’s aunt, naturally had many similarities with Losiya. More than once last night, in a state of dazed excitement, Julian perceived Losiya as Lady Catherine, and even boldly took charge when she was resting.
Fortunately, he at least retained his final shred of rationality, covering his mouth so he didn’t blurt out nonsense in his dazed state.
"The first time, I wasn’t familiar, but last night, with experience, it was indeed more powerful," Julian said casually.
Losiya nodded, feeling quite unwilling in her heart.
She, a transcendent talent, and a sword dancer skilled in combat, ended up pleading softly at the end, subdued by Julian, who had just awakened as a "nanny."
After all, this time she was thoroughly subdued by Julian. In the end, she was utterly spent and helpless. When Julian hugged her and turned her over, she simply hugged a pillow and lay on her stomach, raising her backside. Then, she closed her eyes and hummed in enjoyment.
Eventually, she actually fell asleep in comfort. When she woke up in the middle of the night, Julian was also asleep on top of her, their bodies even still joined...
"Hmph, I let you win last night," Losiya grumbled, rolling her eyes in defiance. Taking advantage of Julian’s inattention, she pulled him beneath her.
"Heh heh..." Julian suddenly felt Losiya’s laugh was strangely odd.
"It’s still early. Let’s do some morning exercises."
As Losiya spoke, she sat on Julian’s body. Before she could find the right position, there was a series of knocks at the door.
At the same time, Alice’s slightly flustered voice accompanied it.
"Young lady, are you awake?"
"No," Losiya replied irritably.
At that moment, Julian suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice beside Alice.
"Hmph, this good-for-nothing, still so mischievous, still throwing tantrums. And now she dares to lie in bed? Move aside, I’ll go see what she’s doing after she wakes up."
This voice was utterly cold, and listening to it, one could discern a sense of maturity.
"Who is that?" Julian couldn’t help but feel very curious.
Anyone who could enter the Lily territory mansion must have an extraordinary identity, and to dare to speak to Losiya like that, and judging by the voice, she must not be young...
He blinked, suddenly thinking of a possibility.
Immediately, his thought was confirmed. A strong woman pushed open the door and entered with sharp steps.
"Losiya, you—" Her words stopped abruptly. Her voice froze instantly.
The scene before her seemed to have a considerable impact on her. Losiya was still sitting on Julian, completely naked. Her fair skin and beautiful body looked exceptionally aesthetic in the morning light.
If one ignored what she was doing at the moment.
But now she was sitting on Julian, and in her hand, she had just grasped Julian’s sensitive area. The aesthetic scene instantly became incredibly decadent.
Julian’s expression stiffened as he secretly looked at the woman who had entered. She was tall and slender, with refined features. She had long, slightly curly black hair like seaweed, casually and elegantly cascading over her shoulders. Her slender figure was clad in a black, gold-embroidered, tight-fitting outfit, which to Julian looked more like military attire. A large cloak was draped over her shoulders, and her entire being exuded a strong and sharp aura.
"Mother?!" Losiya’s tone immediately became surprised and frightened.
Then, the woman’s invisible aura, upon seeing the scene before her, was immediately punctured. The woman tremblingly extended a finger, pointing at the embarrassed Losiya. Anger contorted her graceful face, as if she wished she could pounce on Losiya and bite her to death the next second.
Losiya, however, was incredibly carefree. After adjusting her mindset, her first action was to pull the blanket over Julian’s body to cover him, then she leaned into his ear and comforted him, telling him not to speak.
Afterward, she threw on a nightgown, giggled, got out of bed, and walked over to the woman.
Her biggest regret yesterday was her timid first reaction when Julian was questioned. It was fortunate that Aunt Catherine helped her clean up the mess. Having learned her lesson last night, she resolutely decided that next time, she would absolutely step up first and not be a coward.
"Mother, after a few months apart, you’ve become even more beautiful. Your complexion also looks much younger; you’re truly aging backward."
Her blatant flattery made Alice, who was standing beside them, roll her eyes.
Is the young lady not afraid of her flattery backfiring? Although the Grand Duke maintains herself well, her face is almost enraged to the point of becoming an old hag right now. Aren’t you just annoying her even more?
Fortunately, Grand Duke Kelden’s composure training was good. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then said coldly, "First, put on your clothes properly."
"Huh?" Losiya looked at the nightgown she was wearing, her eyes full of confusion, as if to say to Grand Duke Kelden, "Aren’t I wearing clothes?"
"I told you to finish getting dressed!"
"You arrived so early today? Why didn’t you give me a heads-up?"
"If I had given a heads-up, how would I have known that my daughter’s abilities have grown so much now?" Grand Duke Kelden glanced at Julian, who was bowing his head on the bed, and snorted coldly.
Losiya, however, giggled and stepped forward, hugging Grand Duke Kelden’s arm, cooing, "Haven’t you always urged me to find a man? Before, I didn’t look, and when you found them for me, I taught those men a lesson, and you even got angry with me. Now that I’ve found one myself, you don’t have to worry about not having grandchildren in the future. Why are you unhappy?"
"I told you to find a man, but I meant a man with good family background and character, not for you to find a bastard among slaves," Grand Duke Kelden pushed Losiya’s hand away, showing her no respect at all.
Losiya’s face immediately fell upon hearing that.
