CHAPTER 352: CHAPTER 53: SNIPER FORMATION

Bang, bang!

The gunfire kept coming from above the Justice Tower, with Luffy hiding at the edge of the rooftop opposite the Justice Tower.

This was the sniper; he’d been engaged in close combat. The two-man sniper formation had been broken.

A strong man stood beside the sniper, holding a scythe, chanting as if praying.

Without hesitation, Su Xiao fired a shot. The scythe-wielding man was hit in the chest, staggered back a few steps, and then sat on the ground with a thud.

Su Xiao fired five consecutive shots. The strong man was reduced to a rolling gourd, not severely wounded, as his black priest’s robe had strong defensive power, comparable to heavy armor, at least Purple Quality equipment.

Thanks to Su Xiao’s cover, the sniper crawled to the edge of the rooftop. Before jumping to escape, he nodded at Su Xiao, his lips seemingly saying ’for saving my life...’ the rest of which Su Xiao couldn’t see, he only had a rudimentary understanding of lip-reading.

After taking several shots from Su Xiao, the scythe-wielding man hid behind cover, glaring at Su Xiao with unfriendly eyes.

Su Xiao stopped focusing on that side and aimed his gun at the rooftop where Luffy was. The rooftop was empty except for Luffy hiding behind cover.

The Optical Infrared Detector 8x (Active) had 9 minutes of duration left. After 9 minutes, Su Xiao would revert from a terrifying sniper to an even more terrifying close-combat fighter.

Su Xiao sighed silently, wondering why no one charged onto the rooftop for close combat.

Then, there was movement on the opposite rooftop.

A part of the rooftop where Luffy stood suddenly shattered, and a tornado burst out from below, with a woman’s scream within the tornado.

Su Xiao’s eyes narrowed; it wasn’t a tornado but a technique with a blade. He quickly deduced that Zoro and others had arrived.

Zoro’s swordsmanship could cut out such a tornado, something Su Xiao couldn’t do, as they pursued different developmental directions.

Zoro belonged to the local swordsmen of the Pirate World; his techniques leaned towards slashing and wounding, while Su Xiao only pursued cutting through, not needing flashy moves, as long as they could kill the enemy.

The tornado blew Nami and Chopper onto the rooftop. Chopper landed head down, while Nami landed steadily with her arms spread out.

Nami was quite satisfied with her landing posture, looking both elegant and maintaining a lady’s demeanor.

Just as Nami stood with her hands on her hips on the rooftop, Su Xiao had already aimed at her.

"Nami, get down!"

Luffy shouted, and trusting Luffy, Nami immediately flattened herself on the ground.

Whoosh～, a bullet whizzed past Nami’s ear, lifting her orange hair and even cutting off a strand.

The sudden attack made Nami’s hair stand on end, prompting her to take an unexpected action.

Chopper, currently head down, was grabbed by the leg by Nami. She used all her strength to toss Chopper towards Luffy while she quickly ran towards him.

Su Xiao pulled the trigger.

The gun didn’t fire, out of bullets. Nami reached cover, her face pale, gasping for breath, having just brushed against death’s door.

Su Xiao ejected the magazine, leisurely reloading.

Zoro climbed out of the hole on the rooftop. Seeing Luffy and others behind cover, Zoro’s face darkened, and he quickly ran to Luffy, hiding behind cover.

With a loud crash, stones scattered, and another hole appeared in the rooftop. Sanji burst through with a strange posture, soaring high.

"Fierce Advance·Pork Pot!"

Sanji shouted in mid-air. Su Xiao felt an itch to shoot, as now he was a sitting duck.

A pair of arms stretched out to grab Sanji, leaving him stunned.
