Chapter 368 - 69: What Did You Eat
CHAPTER 368: CHAPTER 69: WHAT DID YOU EAT
"You wouldn’t come to us for no reason, if it’s about a transaction, we’re not interested in money..."
Robin stopped mid-sentence and glanced at Nami.
"I... I don’t like money either."
Nami looked a bit guilty as she felt something was wrong.
Su Xiao waved his hand and pointed at Luffy.
"Wake him up. The matter I want to discuss must be decided by your captain.
"Impossible, Luffy is very tired. Speak directly."
Sanji clearly disagreed, but Zoro nudged Luffy.
"Green Algae Head, what are you doing?"
"Stupid cook, something’s wrong."
Sanji thought for a moment and nodded.
In times of crisis, Sanji and Zoro’s decisions were sometimes similar.
"Then wake up Luffy."
Zoro nudged Luffy a few times, but Luffy didn’t respond, still eating and sleeping.
Sanji stopped Zoro and gestured for him to step aside. Sanji picked up a chili, handed it to Luffy.
With eyes closed, Luffy took the chili and began crunching it in his mouth.
Three seconds later, Luffy’s eyes suddenly widened.
"So spicy!"
Luffy was awakened by the spiciness, his tongue sticking out long. Sanji handed him a glass of milk, and Luffy felt much better after drinking it.
The just-awakened Luffy seemed a bit bewildered, but after Zoro explained the situation, Luffy became serious.
"I recognize you; you’re the guy from the top of the Judicial Tower."
"Yes, there’s something I want to discuss with you."
"What is it?"
Su Xiao took out a pocket watch to check the time; there were still two hours before the Navy’s arrival.
"Go in my place to make a deal with the Navy. I will give you an item. Deliver it to the Navy, and they will give you two items. Hand those two items over to me, and the deal is done. Here’s the Telephone Worm for contacting me."
Su Xiao placed a Telephone Worm on the dining table.
Luffy frowned; he understood Su Xiao’s intention to let them take something to the Navy for a deal.
"Although I’m not sure about the reason, I refuse."
Luffy refused outright.
"Remember, the person you’re dealing with is a young female Navy under twenty-five. If you find anything wrong, destroy the item immediately."
Su Xiao continued to describe the transaction process.
"I already said, I refuse."
Luffy lowered the brim of his Straw Hat.
"You won’t refuse, trust me."
"No, I will refuse."
Su Xiao chuckled softly: "The transaction itself isn’t dangerous, but be wary of being tailed by the Navy afterwards."
Luffy stood up, staring directly at Su Xiao.
"This sounds like trouble, so we won’t do it."
Su Xiao nodded; it indeed wasn’t a good thing.
"Then, do your companions’ lives not matter?"
As Su Xiao spoke, he took out a Special level Alchemy Bomb, transformed it into a snake form, and tossed it outside the residence.
Boom!
The deafening explosion was heard, and the glass windows on one side of the house shattered completely.
With a thud, Nami kneeled on the ground, holding her stomach, whispering, "How could this be..."
Luffy didn’t understand what happened, but Sanji noticed the abnormality and quickly approached Nami.
"Don’t come near me!"
Nami shouted, quickly retreating to the room’s corner, trying to distance herself from her comrades.
"This is..."
Sanji looked at Nami confusedly, while Nami gasped heavily.
"That kind of bomb... I swallowed one, it’s in my stomach."
Nami’s voice shook, but she unconsciously moved closer to Su Xiao, which was a smart move to reduce the chance of Su Xiao detonating the bomb.
"As you can see, help me complete the transaction, and I’ll remove the bomb for her. The deal is pleasantly concluded."
Su Xiao got up and walked out of the room without asking Luffy if he agreed, convinced the latter would consent.
"Wait."
Zoro suddenly spoke up.
"I’ll do the deal."
"Okay, you were my initial choice anyway."
Zoro nodded, and Luffy clenched his fists tightly but didn’t speak further; he wanted to go but was too weak, almost unable to walk.
"Let’s go."
Su Xiao looked at Nami, who hesitated for a moment, then walked slowly towards Su Xiao. With a bomb inside her, she couldn’t be with her comrades for now.
"Nami."
"Don’t go."
Nami paused, turning and smiling at everyone. Even with a bomb inside her, she didn’t feel this journey was dangerous.
"It’s okay, I’ll be back soon."
After saying that, Nami left the room, following Su Xiao into the distance.
After leaving the residence, Su Xiao looked around, searching for a vantage point to observe the entire scene.
A red tall building came into view, almost the highest point in the entire City of Seven Seas.
Nami followed Su Xiao step by step, and they quickly reached the rooftop of the tall building.
Su Xiao took out a telescope to survey the surroundings. The view was excellent, and if an emergency occurred, he could choose to jump off the building to escape into the sea below.
Nami stood silently behind Su Xiao, quietly pulling out her Clima Tact, her cautious eyes fixed on Su Xiao’s back.
Su Xiao, who was observing the area, stiffened and turned to look at Nami; he detested being stared at from behind, as it reminded him of being teleported by Reincarnation Paradise.
"Bu Bu, watch her."
Bubu Wang rushed to Nami’s side, staring at her intently.
Nami looked at Bubute Ni’s size, then at her own slender arms and legs, obediently curling up on the rooftop.
"What exactly do you want to do?"
Nami had just spoken when Bubu Wang stood up, baring its sharp teeth.
"I... I didn’t move."
Bubu Wang eyed the long-legged female before it, feeling displeased with her dishonesty.
Su Xiao walked beside Nami and looked at her: "Time is short; lie down."
"Huh?!"
Nami looked surprised, arms crossed over her chest.
"I... you, don’t come any closer."
"Stop talking nonsense, take off your clothes."
"Huh?" Nami became even more frightened.
Su Xiao frowned; it was easy to misconstrue his words.
"Don’t misunderstand, I’m just going to examine your body structure."
Nami was momentarily at a loss; she never imagined someone could discuss forcing a woman to "hehe" so literally and unambiguously.
"I didn’t misunderstand, but don’t come over; I’ll jump if you do."
"It’s just to remove the bomb; lie down!"
Nami was stunned, realizing she might have misunderstood. After some hesitation, she obediently lay down.
Su Xiao approached and pulled open Nami’s clothing, causing Nami’s eyes to widen as she began to struggle.
Su Xiao pressed his knee against Nami’s white, flat belly, his finger pointing at her chest.
"Help!~"
Nami struggled for a moment and realized something wasn’t right; Su Xiao wasn’t taking things further, but her upper body was bare, which felt excessively embarrassing.
"Stop breathing; it will affect my perception."
Nami bit her lip, deciding to close her eyes and hold her breath.
After a minute, Nami was a bit short of breath.
"Ha~ ha~." Nami breathed heavily, her flushed face returning to normal.
Nami tentatively asked, "Did you get it out?"
Su Xiao looked at Nami in surprise; something seemed off.
"What did you eat before, a gelatinous substance?"
"I ate some sticky rice cakes."
Upon hearing Nami’s words, even Bubu Wang rolled its eyes at the side.
