CHAPTER 347: _ PREGNANT WITH MY CHILD

Just as I had stabbed her, she let out a strained grunt. Luna Ann’s eyes were filled with puzzlement, regret, and terror as she grasped desperately at my clothes. I didn’t move, merely watching as she fell to the cold floor. She had a rather strong wolf, so I ensured that the blade I used to stab her remained in her chest, draining all her energy.

I could tell that she wanted so desperately to scream, to alert everyone in the house that big bad daddy Luis was here.

"Qué pena, Ann," I crouched next to her and gently hushed her with my finger. "Dios mío, you look like you’ve seen a ghost."

I cackled and enjoyed her last few seconds alive. It was rather exciting, to be honest. I thought of everyone’s reaction when they eventually found her dead body in this corner of the house.

"Ay, Axel will be so surprised, hombre..." I chuckled and smacked my lips.

After Luna Ann finally twitched the last few times, I exhaled and rose to my feet. The shadows around us stirred and disappeared. The entire corridor came into view, and I quickly glanced around, ensuring no one was coming.

Staring at her corpse, which was rapidly becoming pale, I realized I didn’t just want to leave her like this.

No, this was a work of art. My art. I planned to break all of them mentally, so I decided I was going to put her on display for everyone to see. You know, just a little something to taunt them.

So, I teleported to my room and grabbed a random wooden chair. I returned back and quickly sat Ann’s corpse on the chair, turning her to face the long stretch of the corridor.

"Pity that her head can only hang low," I muttered as I critiqued my own work.

Luna Ann’s body sat on the chair, hands folded over the other as she stared straight down. She was positioned exactly at one end of the corridor, close to the stairs that led to the master bedroom. As the Alpha was out, the maids who handled the cleaning of the master bedroom were more likely to discover her first.

"Ah, it will be quite the sight, no?" I cackled as I pictured their various expressions when they saw her from afar.

After my crime, I vanished from the scene and returned to my bedroom in another wing of the house.

As I walked over to the mirror, I muttered with great excitement, "Carajo, you’ve outdone yourself this time, Luis. Are you ready for the showdown?"

At that moment, there was a knock on my door.

My lips curled slightly at the ends. "Who is it?" I asked.

"Señor Luis, it’s me, Rosario."

I almost rolled my eyes out of their sockets. Rosario was here again. At this point, that damned woman was practically begging to live in my bedroom.

Suppressing a grunt, I said, "It’s not locked, mujer."

Rosario pushed the door open with her foot. She held a large tray in her hand as she carefully entered my bedroom, careful not to spill whatever was in the various cups that filled the tray.

"And what are those, eh?" I couldn’t help but ask.

Rosario settled the tray on my table and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, like she had just completed some heavy lifting. She looked at me with her usual smile and blasted noise out of her mouth.

"Ay, come on! Don’t you know what these are? It’s ice cream, Señor Luis! Directly from the factory — the best flavors, caray!"

My brows knitted into a frown. I glanced at the sealed cups on the tray—goodness, they numbered more than thirteen—and asked, "And why in the Goddess’ name would you bring me this much ice cream?"

Rosario clicked her tongue and paced around like she owned the place. Sometimes, I was slightly amused by her bursts of audacity. Sometimes.

Placing both hands on those wide hips, she said with a tut, "Ay, Señor Luis, you’ve been gone for too long! You don’t understand the joy of ice cream anymore! Actually, Señorita Camilla came up with this idea, can you believe? She felt bad for you being stuck in that chair for so long. Qué linda, no?"

She suddenly jumped closer, and I couldn’t help but flinch. There certainly were a very few things that scared me, my master being one. And the second being Rosario breathing too close to me.

"If I didn’t know any better, mi querido Luis, I’d say Lady Camilla has a crush on you! Madre mía, how shameful — she’s married!" Then, she flashed me a grin and said, "Anyway, I had to go all the way to the factory to get these for you. Only the best flavors, cariño. If you want a taste of something else..."

She winked. "...I can arrange that too."

My eyelids twitched. "Qué?"

Rosario shrugged her shoulders, like she hadn’t just said that. Unfortunately for her, I was overusing her to vent my frustrations. I had María José now, and in due time, she would be mine and mine alone. I pinched the bridge of my nose and said with a sigh, "Alright, alright. Gracias for the ice cream. You can leave now, Rosario."

Her mouth fell open in shock, like I had just uttered the most appalling statement.

She blinked rapidly and protested with a finger pointed at me, "¡Dios santo! You’re just going to send me off like that? That’s terrible, Luis. Remember how long I took care of you? You should be a little kinder to me, eh?"

The more she spoke, the more I felt the need to increase today’s victim count. I groaned softly and massaged my forehead.

"Ay, mujer... What do you want from me, huh?" I asked.

Rosario’s pouty attitude vanished in the blink of an eye. She stepped closer and was about to speak, when suddenly, she staggered. Rosario fell forward and crashed into me. I had to hold her from toppling both of us over.

With a grunt, I asked, "¿Qué pasa?"

Rosario, much to my annoyance, held my bicep and said, "Madre mía, Luis... you’re so strong."

I was about to reprimand her when I felt a sudden jolt. It was like a soft tingle that ran from her fingers to my entire body. My brows knitted into a frown as I stared deeply at Rosario, then, following a certain pull, my gaze settled on her belly.

I could feel something inside her. A certain pull of darkness, one I was all too familiar with. It had my signature, my imprint.

Then I realized. Rosario was actually pregnant with my child. THE BABY IS MINE!

My eyes narrowed.

Bueno, bueno, bueno... My lips curled up.
