Remarried Wife: She will Remarry, But Another Person
Chapter 94: Jasper Fitzgerald: Sit Down and Don’t Move
CHAPTER 94: CHAPTER 94: JASPER FITZGERALD: SIT DOWN AND DON’T MOVE
Sabrina Hayes didn’t notice his gaze and continued playing with Flash.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in the sole of her foot.
"Hiss..."
She took a sharp breath and abruptly stopped her steps.
"What’s wrong?"
Jasper Fitzgerald saw it and immediately asked.
Sabrina Hayes frowned and replied, "It seems... I stepped on something."
She quickly lifted her foot and took a look.
Sure enough, there was a small piece of shell embedded in the sole of her foot, and it was bleeding more and more.
Jasper Fitzgerald saw it too, his brows slightly furrowed, and said lightly, "Judging by the amount of blood, it seems to be lodged deep. We need to treat the wound, or it will get infected."
Sabrina Hayes nodded, not refusing.
Jasper Fitzgerald immediately instructed Nash Spencer in the distance, "Go get the medical kit."
"Okay!"
Nash Spencer responded and quickly turned to fetch it.
After he left, Jasper Fitzgerald looked back at Sabrina Hayes, who was standing on one leg, hesitated for a moment, and asked, "Let’s go sit on the chair and rest. Can you walk?"
Sabrina Hayes quickly responded, "I can."
Although her foot hurt, she could manage if she tiptoed.
Out of a sense of propriety, Jasper Fitzgerald said nothing more, merely advising, "Walk slowly then."
Sabrina Hayes nodded and began to move her steps cautiously.
But the sand was too soft, and with the tide washing in, it took some of it away, causing her steps to be uneven and her body somewhat unsteady.
In a moment of urgency, Jasper Fitzgerald still reached out and supported her.
Sabrina Hayes only felt a strong hand holding her elbow.
She was taken aback, then heard the man’s magnetic and calm voice say, "Let me help you over there. It’ll prevent further injury."
Sabrina Hayes was a bit embarrassed and quickly expressed her gratitude, "Thank you, Mr. Fitzgerald."
Jasper Fitzgerald wasn’t bothered and soon accompanied her back to the seat.
As soon as she sat down, the man withdrew his hand.
"Mommy, does it hurt?"
Zara, who had been following closely behind, asked with concern.
With Mommy injured, she wasn’t interested in digging for shells anymore.
Sabrina Hayes quickly reassured her, "It’s okay. Although it’s bleeding, it’s not serious. It’ll be fine soon. If you’re afraid, you don’t need to watch, Zara."
Zara wasn’t afraid but was worried, looking at her with furrowed brows.
Just then, Nash Spencer brought over the medical kit.
Sabrina Hayes wanted to handle the wound herself to avoid concerning the little one, but unexpectedly, the tall figure in front of her suddenly squatted down, taking the medical kit first.
"Let me do it. The shell fragment needs to be thoroughly cleaned out. From your angle, you might not be able to manage it."
He said as he opened the kit, taking out small tweezers, disinfectant, and gauze.
Nash Spencer saw this scene and widened his eyes in shock, as if witnessing something unbelievable!
Sabrina Hayes felt even more indebted.
The man before her held a prestigious status and wasn’t suited to do such things.
She quickly said, "It’s okay. I can do it myself."
But Jasper Fitzgerald’s tone was firm, "Sit still and don’t move!"
The brief command bore an unspoken authority that intimidated Sabrina Hayes into not daring to budge.
Seeing her calm down, Jasper Fitzgerald immediately started treating her wound.
His movements were gentle and efficient, and in no time, he removed the fragment and quickly cleaned and bandaged the wound.
In just a few minutes, everything was done.
As he wrapped the bandage, his fingers brushed against her ankle, causing a strange sensation in Sabrina Hayes’ heart.
Jasper Fitzgerald didn’t notice, continuing to advise, "Try not to get the wound wet. Just sit here and let Zara get used to it herself."
Sabrina Hayes calmly thanked him, "Thank you, Mr. Fitzgerald!"
Jasper Fitzgerald nodded slightly and instructed Nash Spencer to put away the medical kit.
Subsequently, Sabrina Hayes sat alone on the beach chair to rest.
Seeing that Mommy was okay, Zara went back to digging for shells, and Jasper Fitzgerald followed, later teaching Flash to swim.
As the evening approached, the tide began to rise.
Jasper Fitzgerald prepared to take Zara ashore.
After all, the temperature was dropping, and a cold would be unfortunate.
It was also at this moment he noticed a strange flash of light in the distance.
The man narrowed his deep eyes dangerously, the color darkening.
Nash Spencer nearby noticed the unease at a glance, "Sir?"
Jasper Fitzgerald’s tone carried a hint of sharpness and cold, "Go check it out."
Nash Spencer received the order and quickly walked away!
About ten minutes later.
Near the coast not far from the beach, a figure was pulled down from a tree by Nash Spencer and the bodyguard, forcibly held to the ground.
"Who are you? Don’t you know this is a private beach, and outsiders are forbidden? How dare you sneak around with a camera, taking photos?"
While speaking, he quickly grabbed the camera from the man’s hands and turned it on.
Unexpectedly, it was full of photos of Sabrina Hayes and Zara, and...his master!
Nash Spencer’s face turned serious, a hint of vigilance in his eyes.
Given his master’s special status, there were many foreign forces and countries trying to recruit or harm him.
Could this guy be a spy?
Nash Spencer’s eyes darkened, his demeanor turning fierce, as he forcefully hoisted the man up, speaking coldly, "Who sent you? Confess honestly, or...die!!!"
The private detective was dumbfounded.
He had never encountered such a situation.
He was merely following Jordan Hawthorne’s instructions to take photos of Sabrina Hayes having an affair.
He hadn’t expected Sabrina Hayes to enter the private beach.
Initially, he thought it would be a wasted effort, but he accidentally discovered that the tree could provide a vantage point and climbed up.
Then, this group of fierce-looking men appeared and dragged him down.
Now, they were threatening to kill him.
The private detective was terrified.
This group seemed unusual, and the murderous aura in their eyes seemed genuine.
He shivered in fear and quickly confessed, "It was President Hawthorne who sent me to follow Mrs. Hawthorne to gather evidence of her affair! I’m just a detective following orders!"
Nash Spencer couldn’t help but be taken aback.
President Hawthorne?
Mrs. Hawthorne?
Was this referring to Dr. Nash?
Why catch an affair here?
Out of caution, Nash Spencer didn’t believe him right away and continued questioning, "What’s your name? Which detective agency are you from? What evidence do you have to prove what you’re saying is true?"
The detective, originally a coward, and now restrained and unable to move, naturally didn’t dare hide anything.
Before long, he confessed everything, even handing his phone to Nash Spencer.
Nash Spencer took it and began to look through it, finding that everything was indeed as he said.
He was indeed there to catch the affair, not a spy.
But the guy had already sent some of the afternoon photos over to Jordan Hawthorne.
Due to the distance, the photos were blurry, not clearly showing faces, but one of the protagonists was evidently his master.
Nash Spencer, "..."
The biggest silence of his life had just taken place.
Where did this stupid detective come from?
He hadn’t understood the situation at all and was already slandering people!
