(AN: Sorry for the delay. I have been busy training new team members at work.)

---Next Day---

After a long night of hard talks with my family, they came to a consensus on how to proceed with Slaanesh. To move beyond being a prisoner, she would need to secure forgiveness from the Aeldari Elders. Given the grievous nature of her crimes, getting them to consider it would take a small miracle. Knowing full well she was facing an uphill battle, Slaanesh still accepted their terms and spent her night planning how to pull it off.

With the matter resolved, for now, I assumed things would settle down again, but I was gravely mistaken. Blaming my current self for the actions of my future self, my wives barred me from entering the master bedroom for the night. While I could have forced my way in, as no one could keep me from sleeping in my bed, I chose to spend the night analyzing the Time Stone.

Learning how to safely harness and manipulate its power, I performed a series of tests to help refine my ability to control it. Once I had mostly mastered it, Agamotto and I worked on finding a spell to resync the two dimensions. We discovered that no one had ever attempted anything of this magnitude before, forcing us to develop a brand-new spell from scratch.

“Is everything alright, Emperor Stark?”, Praetorate Avirax questioned, noticing I was deep in thought. “Did something go awry at dinner with the Prime Minister?”

“You could say that. He ignited a powder keg at my dinner table and bolted before it went off.”, I sighed, looking at him in frustration. “Being attracted to a woman outside my harem apparently makes me a bad man. I acknowledge I find her attractive, but I have not once made a move on her. She is a psychopathic killer with countless deaths under her belt.”

“Ah… Is this about Slaanesh?”, Avirax questioned. “The Emperor of Mankind wrote about her in the letter you gave me. He and your uncles believe she should be promptly executed, but in my opinion, staying your hand would be the wisest option. Slaanesh should certainly answer for her crimes, but not everything she is accused of is necessarily her fault…”

Brought into being by the slowly declining Aeldari Empire, Slaanesh should have been born as an Aeldari goddess. Like Isha, Lileath, and the other Aeldari deities, their psychic energy created her from the Warp’s turbulent ether. Her birth wiped out billions of Aeldari, but the question was, why?

“Now that you mention it, that is rather peculiar.”, I acknowledged. “If Slaanesh’s birth killed billions, her peers would have done the same. As they were born during the War in Heaven, could the deaths have been attributed to the Necrons?”

“Regardless of where you are in the universe, war never changes. Any time there is a mass casualty event, it will always be the enemy who did it.”, Avirax explained as people began entering the room. “It serves to further fuel the war effort and gives people something to rally around. The Emperor of Mankind used this tactic to help unite the humans of his galaxy beneath a singular banner.”

While reflecting on his line of thought, I had a troubling realization. What if Slaanesh was an innocent bystander, and Kaela Mensha Khaine’s mindless rage caused her to fall to Chaos? Like Zeus from God of War, Khaine may have inadvertently created the very thing he was afraid of. If this were true, my disgust for Slaanesh would lessen a little, and my hatred for Khaine would increase correspondingly.

(AN: Kaela Mensha Khaine is the Aeldari God of War.)

Deciding to speak with the Aeldari deities about this later, I focused my attention on the meeting. Warmly greeting everyone, we were about to start discussing last night when Isha, Lileath, Loki, Mylene, and Slaanesh rushed in. Taking their seats behind me, they quietly apologized for being late.

“Is everything alright?”, I asked, noticing they had dark circles under their eyes.

“Please… Do not make me recap that horrific shitshow.”, Mylene remarked, slumping back into her seat.

Asking the others to explain what happened, Isha meekly filled me in. At around one, Ilulu and Tohru had a vivid nightmare. Believing they were fighting for their lives against a monster, Ilulu and Tohru thrashed around the bed, beating the stuffing out of the mattress and everyone else. After an hour of trying to settle them down, Olivia became fed up and beat them over the head with a frying pan. This method worked, but the dragonesses were less than thrilled about it.

Roused from their deep slumber on the second strike, they leapt out of bed and glowered at Olivia. Getting right in her face, the flustered dragonesses demanded to know what she was doing. Thoroughly exhausted, Olivia’s usual peacemaking attitude was nonexistent. Giving them a piece of her mind, their bickering soon dragged everyone else into the dispute.

“Needless to say, a lot of hurtful things were said in the heat of the moment.”, Isha concluded. “We have already patched things up, but by the time we did, it was already six in the morning. With the mattress in pieces, we were forced to sleep on the living room carpet.”

“Everyone has come to an agreement. We will never bar you from sleeping in the master bedroom again.”, Mylene spoke on behalf of the women. “Shit like this never happens when you are around…”

Offering to fix the bed right now so they could get some sleep, they respectfully turned me down. As the emperor’s wives, they felt obligated to be present during important meetings. In Slaanesh’s case, she is here to demonstrate her resolve for becoming a member of my harem. Accepting their decisions, I returned my focus to the meeting.

---Three Hours Later---

Addressing the few remaining topics left on the docket, I dismissed everyone for the day. With no more meetings scheduled for the foreseeable future, most decided to head back to their territories and share my arrival with their constituents. Bidding them farewell, the six of us rose from our seats to stretch out.

“That wraps up most of the tedious work. There are still a few loose ends, but we can deal with them later.”, I remarked, cracking my knuckles. “Time to meet the rest of your family, Loki.”

“Finally, the day has arrived!”, Loki cheered, wrapping herself around my left arm. “I cannot wait to see the look in their eyes when I introduce you as my partner.”

“I bet they will have quite a reaction when they see me.”, I chuckled. “Could you please let them know we will begin the process here shortly?”

Nodding her head, Loki began channeling her magic through me to contact Heimdal. While she conversed with him, I led the women to the top of the palace’s northern tower. Casting the magic formulas that Agamotto and I developed, we began the meticulous process of resyncing the dimensions. Once the Realm of the Gods was realigned with the time stream, a familiar commanding voice spoke to us.

“Hear me, sons and daughters of Asgard. Return to Asgard at once; the All-Father wishes to speak with you immediately.”, Heimdal proclaimed, causing quite a stir throughout the palace.

“That is our cue, Victor.”, Loki spoke, sensing Balder and Fandral’s departure. “Ladies, be ready to join us sometime this evening. My father will likely hold a celebration to mark this momentous occasion.”

“In that case… We are heading back to bed to get some sleep.”, Mylene said, motioning for a kiss from me.

Giving Isha, Lileath, and Mylene a kiss, they softly apologized for last night. Reiterating their unwavering trust in me, Isha and Lileath admitted they let fear guide their actions.

“While I was miffed you refused to listen to me, it is water under the bridge now. Get some rest; we will talk more this evening.”, I said, patting Slaanesh on the head. “You get some sleep as well, okay?”

Taken aback by my head pat, Slaanesh’s face turned bright red, and her ears wriggled with delight.

“As… As you wish… Victor.”, Slaanesh stuttered, looking up at me with her big eyes. “If you want… My door is always open to- “

“Haha, I should have known you would go there.”, I chuckled, squeezing her skull a bit. “Do not ruin the moment, Slaanesh. Just accept my gesture of kindness and get some sleep.”

With a broad smile, she freed herself from my grasp and embraced me.

“So you know, I will never share my affection or lust with another man. Every fiber of my being is yours, forever and always. You are the only one who has ever seen me as more than a slutty bitch.”, Slaanesh whispered in a serious tone. “It means more to me than words can ever begin to describe.”

As she let go, Slaanesh kissed me on the cheek with a smile. Bashing her over the head, Isha and Lileath began chewing her out while Mylene walked away shaking her head.

“Alright, Loki, let’s get going.”, I chuckled, leaving Slaanesh to take her beating.

Opening a Bifrost bridge to Asgard, the two of us headed off to see Odin.
