CHAPTER 157: CHAPTER 157: CAN I BE YOUR REAL BOYFRIEND?

Ian Sterling’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed. He really wanted to pull her out of bed and throw her out. "Could your face be any thicker? Who taught you?"

"My sister taught me... Are you saying my sister has a thick skin? Then I’m going to tell her you’re talking bad about her," Vivian said with a smile.

He was utterly at a loss with this woman. Her skin was thicker than a city wall, neither hard nor soft approaches worked. How was he going to handle her? He couldn’t make himself be responsible for her!

Ring ring—

Her phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and glanced at it—it was her sister. She looked up at the man and asked threateningly, "Are you going to leave my sister on your own, or should I tell her I’m in your bed right now?"

"Go ahead, tell her. See if she’ll forgive you." Ian crossed his arms, gave her a deep look, and turned around to go to the bathroom.

He was sure she wouldn’t dare to say such a thing, so now he could only wait it out with this girl for the time being.

Vivian glanced at him before answering the phone, "Hello, sis..."

Summer Nolan was about to call her sister to breakfast. She opened the door and found that the girl wasn’t in bed this early! Where did she run off to this early in the morning?

"Where did you run off to?"

"I agreed to meet a classmate at a breakfast place. Is something up?" she asked. Ian heard this from the bathroom and knew she didn’t dare tell the truth.

"Since when do you like getting up early?" Summer asked, raising her eyebrows. Her sister had always had a habit of sleeping in and didn’t believe her words much.

"I have to get up early every day for school, okay? I’ve already broken the habit of sleeping in," she lied. She hadn’t changed; she really hadn’t. Most of the time, her dorm friends helped sign her in for attendance.

Summer believed her and asked another question, "I forgot to ask you yesterday. Why did you suddenly come home? Where’s your internship? Is it far?"

"I... have already left the job. School starts in half a month, so I wanted to rest at home a bit," she said.

"Alright then, go have fun with your classmates, but be careful," Summer advised before hanging up the phone. She didn’t force her to go intern because she really doted on her one and only sister.

Ian heard her words just now, and his eyebrows slightly lifted. She only had half a month left before she had to go back to school? Great...

By the time she came back from school, he might already be married to Summer!

After freshening up, he walked out to find that the girl had already laid down on the bed, sleeping soundly, without a care that he might take advantage of her!

Her heart is really big.

Ian went to the wardrobe to take out the clothes he planned to wear today. After getting dressed, the doorbell rang. He opened the door, and a bodyguard immediately handed him the medicines he’d bought:

"Young Master Sterling, this is what you wanted... contraception..."

"Mm, about this..." Before he could say ’keep it a secret,’ the door next door opened, and Summer Nolan, dressed in a black professional suit, walked out.

The black skirt wrapped tightly around her sharp waistline, making her look very alluring.

"Morning." Seeing him, she greeted him.

"Morning... Have you had breakfast?" Ian asked with concern, subtly moving the medicine box behind his back.

"I had a sandwich," she said.

"Then come have something more with me. I haven’t eaten yet. Wait here; I’ll just grab something and be out." He said this, then gave a discreet signal to the bodyguard, indicating not to say anything, before closing the door.

He poured a glass of water and headed to the master bedroom to wake up the sleeping woman on the bed: "Hey, wake up!"

"Don’t bother me..."

Vivian mumbled, waving her hand and hitting him, causing Ian to frown. He looked at the medicine instructions, broke out two pills, pinched her cheeks open, and tossed the pills into her mouth.

As he was about to give her water, feeling the bitterness in her mouth, Vivian spat the pills out, having been woken by his antics,

"What did you give me? That’s so bitter."

She sat up, took the cup from his hand, and drank a few sips of water.

Ian looked at her with deep eyes, handed her the remaining medicine, "Take this. I’ll buy another box this afternoon."

The medicine had to be taken in two time segments.

Vivian looked at the medicine in his hand, realizing what it was. He really didn’t want her to carry his child? She took it with a smile, saying dismissively:

"Got it. I’ll take it after I wake up. Hurry to work, don’t disturb my sleep."

"You must take it. If you really get pregnant, I won’t let you give birth. It’ll be you who suffers during the abortion.

We have no feelings whatsoever. You don’t want to get an abortion for a stranger, do you?" Ian’s tone was serious and slightly cold, showing he wasn’t joking with her.

Little did she expect this man to be so heartless. Vivian looked at him, nodded her head, "Don’t worry, I wouldn’t give birth to a child of a jerk like you."

"Then take the medicine now," Ian told her.

Vivian looked at this heartless man, feeling a wave of inexplicable bitterness. She broke off the tablet, tossed it into her mouth, and swallowed it with water:

"Satisfied?"

"Leave my apartment. If your family sees you, it’ll be awkward for everyone," Ian said in a deep voice as he got up and left the bedroom.

Summer checked her watch several times outside, asking the bodyguard, "What are you doing up here so early?"

"...Oh, just delivering the dry cleaning for Young Master Sterling," the bodyguard lied. He had just found out yesterday that Young Master Sterling had spent the night before last with the Second Miss Nolan!

This matter could definitely not be let out.

Ian opened the door, and the stern, heartless look he had just now immediately turned gentle. He approached and took Summer’s hand, "Let’s go."

Summer pulled her hand away, giving him a smile, "Aren’t we pretending to be a couple? There’s no one else here, no need to act."

Ian gave her a look and didn’t speak. When they entered the elevator and the bodyguard was about to follow in, Ian suddenly said, "Take another elevator."

"Yes." The bodyguard nodded.

As the elevator doors closed, Ian suddenly turned and pressed the woman against the elevator wall, one hand resting beside her head, "I don’t want to pretend with you. Can I be your real boyfriend?"

If they became a real couple, they could be closer, and it would make her sister back off. The sisters shared such a good relationship.

Vivian wouldn’t possibly be so selfish as to destroy that, right?

"I’m not ready yet, I need some time."

Summer replied evasively and was about to move away, when suddenly, he blocked her with his other hand, lifting her chin and leaning in towards her lips, but she turned her face away suddenly.

Her sister had said she’d seen him opening a room with another woman in a hotel. She wasn’t sure if it was true.

"But I don’t want to wait any longer. Be my girlfriend, and I’d even give you my life..." he said in a deep voice.

What would she do with his life? She only wanted the real accounts of Summit... would he give them?

If she became his girlfriend, could she get what she wanted faster? Summer lowered her deep gaze, hesitating a little.

"Will you say yes? I really like you..." Ian suddenly pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly, almost wishing to blend her into his being.
