Run Away After Flirting: Get Lost, Mr. Attorney!
Chapter 26: Are You Really Going to Get a Room with Him?
CHAPTER 26: CHAPTER 26: ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO GET A ROOM WITH HIM?
Miles Monroe glanced at the interior that was understated yet exuded luxury, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, waiting but not stepping inside.
He was the only one who knew that Summer Nolan and this man were dating. When the two of them were together before, he’d come here looking for Summer Nolan, and Renowned Attorney Spencer would always get jealous of him.
So, in the end, it’s clear that lovers don’t last as long as friends!
A few minutes later, Summer Nolan walked out in a white spaghetti-strap dress, her long, jet-black hair cascading down her back like a waterfall, radiant and pure.
"Tsk tsk... Two months without seeing you, and you’ve become even prettier!" He looked her up and down, clicking his tongue in admiration.
"And you’re getting more and more handsome. Look at that face, probably driving how many men crazy?"
Summer Nolan reached up and gave his handsome face a vigorous squeeze, and the next moment, he swatted her salty hands away, "If you keep taking advantage of me, I’ll take advantage of you!"
Elias Spencer came out just in time to see them fooling around at the door, adjusting his glasses with a cold stare—
"Hurry up, don’t waste time, I have to work tomorrow!"
Summer Nolan pushed his arm towards the door, barely glancing at Renowned Attorney Spencer inside while with her other hand, she closed the living room door, and the two of them walked toward the elevator.
They had already broken up, and going out had nothing to do with him.
"Why are you at this guy’s house? Are you really not getting back together?" Miles Monroe casually slung an arm over her shoulder, prodding her with curiosity.
"No! Maybe we’re just naturally incompatible. We used to be rivals at different law firms, and now at the same one, it’s the same thing. Besides, he has someone he likes now.
I just came to his place tonight because I worked late, and it was pouring rain." She said, crossing her arms.
"He likes someone? Who?" His curiosity was piqued.
"His assistant, a girl who looks very innocent, with a gentle, obedient personality. He likes that type." Summer Nolan said with her arms still crossed, not pushing his hand away, not even considering him as a man.
"That type is usually a white lotus, appearing all gentle and unassuming, but in reality, they’re very cunning. I hate women like that the most." Miles Monroe remarked.
Summer Nolan laughed; no wonder they were best friends, she didn’t like that type either.
White Horse Clubhouse.
In the luxurious VIP room stood over ten handsome men of all types. Miles Monroe glanced at them, and in a picky and low voice said to her,
"These men are too ordinary, not a hint of sophistication."
"You expect sophistication in a place like this? Just pick one to have fun with, it’s not like you’re choosing a husband here." Summer Nolan said freely, her eyes scanning over the faces and bodies of the row of men in front.
What kind should I choose?
A big muscular one?
No, I don’t like that.
Her gaze suddenly rested on a fair-skinned man wearing silver-rimmed glasses, dressed in a white T-shirt and sportswear, quite pleasing to the eye.
She raised her hand and pointed, "You, come here."
The sunny guy with glasses happily walked over to her immediately and, once seated beside her, hugged her arm and said, "You’re so pretty, sis!"
"Sweet talker." Summer Nolan leaned back on the sofa, crossing her legs and smiling, no wonder men liked those sweet-talking white lotuses, they’re quite endearing!
Unlike someone who’s either cold or has a sharp tongue.
"What’s your name? How old are you?"
"You can just call me Ari, I’m 22 years old." He said as he poured her a glass of red wine.
"Quite young, how long have you been doing this?" she asked like a regular, raising her hand to feel his arm, noting there was some muscle, but not as firm as Elias Spencer’s.
Renowned Attorney Spencer’s biceps are perfectly sculpted, neither overly developed nor flabby, his arms are carved with a powerful aesthetic beauty.
"Not even a month yet; my family has younger siblings who need schooling, my dad is a gambling addict and owes a lot of money, and my mom is in poor health..." he said pitifully.
Summer Nolan suppressed a laugh, why do people in this line of work all have the same reason?
"Tsk tsk... you really are pitiful..." she said, pinching his chin.
The gigolo leaned in close to her ear, whispering warmly, "Sis, I’m really good at what I do, may I keep you company tonight?
I just want to earn some money to pay off debts, could you give me a chance?"
Summer Nolan didn’t hesitate for a second, "Alright, seeing as you’re so pitiful, I’ll give you a chance."
She was out tonight to satisfy a physical need, so why play coy? Everyone’s an adult, let’s just be straightforward about it.
Miles Monroe, sitting beside her, was shocked when he heard her, "You’re going to get a room with him?"
"What’s there to be shocked about? I’m out tonight to meet a physical need," she said, nonchalant, taking the red wine from the man beside her and drinking a big gulp.
"Cough... Aren’t you afraid Elias Spencer will find out?" Being her close friend, Miles Monroe could tell she still had feelings for that man.
If she really slept with another man, reconciliation would be difficult.
"We broke up long ago, even if he’s standing right in front of me, I’m not afraid." Summer Nolan chuckled coldly.
The man had even flaunted his love for his assistant in her face, praised her cooking, and called her gentle and obedient in her presence.
Even took the assistant home overnight.
I didn’t say anything about him, what gives him the right to criticise me for hiring a male model?
"Alright, as long as you don’t regret it."
Miles Monroe didn’t stop her, and the fair-skinned young guy beside him eagerly offered him a drink, casually letting his hand wander from his arm to his back,
"Brother, would you like me to keep you company tonight?"
Miles Monroe turned his head, scrutinising him before bluntly saying, "Not interested in you."
Though he liked men, his standards were high and picky; he wasn’t interested in men from places like this.
The young guy’s expression stiffened slightly, but he soon recovered, giving himself an out by smiling, "Then I’ll just have a few more drinks with you, brother."
With that, he poured himself a drink and clinked glasses with him.
Miles Monroe looked at him and drank from his glass.
"Sis, let me toast you another drink," the male model said, pouring her another glass.
Summer Nolan didn’t care that she had a cold, and drank several more glasses with the sunny little hunk. He put down his glass and asked,
"Sis, would you like me to give you a massage? I’m really good at it..."
"How good?" Summer Nolan smiled and glanced at him.
"You’ll know once you try, sis." He said, placing his hands on her shoulders, gently kneading the fine, white skin, alternating between light and heavy pressure.
This wasn’t a massage at all; it was clearly seduction. As his fingertips glided over her skin, a tingling sensation rose up.
She coughed lightly; this guy had skills! It’s just... she didn’t quite like being touched by a stranger... always feeling a bit averse inside.
