CHAPTER 66: CHAPTER 66: KISS IF YOU WANT, TOUCH IF YOU DARE?

"You called me back for something?" Ian Sterling sat down on the intricately carved redwood single-seater sofa.

"I heard from Yara that you’re dating a woman? Who is she?" Sean Sterling asked directly.

"We’re just friends for now, and I’ve said this before, I won’t marry Yara Ford." Ian replied in a deep voice to his father.

"Whether you marry or not can wait, who is this friend of yours? Do I know her?"

Sean Sterling had only one son, he couldn’t let him associate with just anyone, as he was the sole heir to the Sterling Family.

"...You don’t know her, she’s just an ordinary girl."

He was worried that his father would trouble Summer Nolan. Though the Sterling Family was already very wealthy, his father always prioritized profit in everything.

Everyone was just a tool for making money in his eyes.

"An ordinary girl is worthy of being your friend?" Sean Sterling looked at his son and laughed.

That laughter made Ian very uncomfortable.

"Whether it’s making friends or having a girlfriend, it’s my choice, and I hope you don’t interfere." He said in a deep voice, then stood up and went upstairs.

-

Summer had just seen Elias Spencer off at the building’s entrance when suddenly, this man carried her upstairs!

Once inside, he tossed her directly onto the master bedroom bed. She immediately scrambled up, glaring at him angrily, "Elias Spencer, are you crazy?"

He suddenly bent over, got close, and pinched her chin with one hand, speaking each word in a deep voice, "I told you, stay away from him."

"Elias Spencer, I’m doing legitimate work, don’t come and cause trouble." Summer removed his hand, speaking seriously and calmly.

He abruptly moved closer to her face again, "Is seducing him also legitimate work?"

Summer only felt a wave of coldness hit her, yet she forced herself to smile calmly, "What’s it to do with you?"

Elias’s eyes fixed tightly on her, with veins bulging on the back of his hand, the gaze beneath his glasses cold enough to freeze someone—a fierce restraint on the emotions surging within him.

Summer felt very uncomfortable under his stare, immediately got off the bed from the other side, and left without saying anything.

Walking out the door, she was suddenly surprised to see he followed her out and even closed the door!

She asked in surprise, "Why did you come out?"

"To take you home." Elias coldly said, not caring if she wanted it or not, making his way to the elevator.

"I don’t need you to take me." He had just been harsh with her, so there was no way she wanted him to make amends, let Iris go and please him instead.

The man standing at the elevator stuck one hand in his pocket, merely gave her a glance, saying nothing.

"I said I don’t need you to take me." Summer told him again.

The man beside her still didn’t speak. The elevator doors opened, and he stepped in steadily—

More than half an hour later.

Summer opened her apartment door, taking a look at the stern man still standing there before dismissing him, "Attorney Spencer, you may leave now, I’m home!"

Elias was about to leave when Mrs. Nolan, who was sitting on the sofa, came out in surprise, "Attorney Spencer, what brings you here?"

"It’s late, I brought Summer back." His tone softened somewhat as he spoke.

Mrs. Nolan hadn’t expected him to be so kind... could it be that he also liked this girl?

Both Ian Sterling and Elias Spencer, she liked both potential sons-in-law!

Could she have them both?

Holding back her excitement, she intentionally invited him to stay:

"It is indeed very late, and with your hand still injured, it must be inconvenient for you to drive. Why not stay here tonight instead of going back?"

Elias’s cool eyes glanced at Summer, "...Wouldn’t that be inconvenient?"

"Of course not, as long as you don’t mind!" Mrs. Nolan said enthusiastically.

He walked past the woman beside him and went inside. It was his first time at her house, so he couldn’t help but survey it. The decor was very cozy, but the space...

It was actually much smaller than he had imagined.

He always thought that with all the money she earned, the place she lived should be large and luxurious.

The decor was relatively ordinary, and there were no expensive ornaments in the home.

Despite her love for money, she was so frugal?

"...!" Summer’s eyes widened in shock, frozen in place for a moment before she came around. As soon as her mom went to pour water, she immediately grabbed him by the arm and tried to drag him out:

"You better leave now!"

Elias stood firm without moving.

Mrs. Nolan came over with a cup of coffee and saw her daughter actually trying to send him away, scolding, "Summer, what are you doing? Attorney Spencer was kind enough to bring you back, what’s wrong with letting him rest here for the night?"

"Attorney Spencer, don’t mind her, have a seat." Mrs. Nolan placed the coffee on the coffee table and then reminded her daughter:

"After all, he saved you once, you can’t be so rude. Wait until Attorney Spencer finishes his coffee, then take him to the guest room, I’m going to bed."

"Then goodnight, Attorney Spencer."

"Goodnight, ma’am." Elias replied.

They were left alone in the living room, staring each other down. He withdrew his icy gaze, picked up the coffee, and took a sip.

Summer looked at the man, resigned, deciding to let him be, "Find your own way to the guest room."

With that, she returned to her bedroom.

Over twenty minutes later, she opened the bathroom door, wearing a white spaghetti-strap nightgown, only to be startled by the man leaning against the door with arms crossed!

"Why aren’t you sleeping yet? Coming to my... mm..." She barely started speaking when the damned man turned and pinned her against the wall, sealing her words with a kiss.

His hand grasped the nape of her neck, forcing her to tilt her head back.

Fingers threaded through her soft hair with an undeniable assertiveness.

The clash of lips and teeth carried anger, mixed with a kind of repressed heat to the extreme, like a downpour hitting the glass pane, overwhelming enough to stifle one.

Summer was annoyed, pushing him, but it was all in vain.

All of a sudden, he brushed the strap off her shoulder, and her slick nightgown fell to the floor!

Wearing nothing underneath, she blushed furiously, lifting a hand to strike him, his large hand roving over her graceful body from top to bottom—

Pausing.

Teasing.

"Mmm... Eli... as...!" Unable to hold back, she let out a soft moan, annoyed, then shouted his name angrily once more.

Elias released her lips, suddenly pressing kisses to her slender neck, sucking hard, then moving to the other side to suck a few more times—

"What are you doing?" Summer squirmed under his touch, powerlessly pushing him away.

Elias pulled back, gazing intently at her neck marked with obvious hickeys, satisfied: "Sleep."

Leaving those two words coldly, he strode out in long strides, deliberately provoking her.

Summer stood frozen in place, hands covering her chest, gaping at her bite-reddened lips, her chest heaving heavily.

Too angry to speak for a long while!

Taking advantage and then leaving?

What does he think she is?

Just kiss whenever he feels like it, touch whenever he wants?

"Bastard!"

"You dog of a man!"

It took Summer a while to catch her breath after this, clenching her fist and vowing, "Just you wait, see how I deal with you tomorrow!"

"This time, I’ll make you beg me!"
