When Luo Yang arrived, Shuiyue and Jinghua both exclaimed, “Husband!”

Luo Yang beckoned them to come closer.

When they came near, he had them sit on the edge of the bed.

Though Shuiyue and Jinghua hesitated to sit, Luo Yang took their hands to encourage them.

Actually, Lord Bao was displeased, evident from her heavy breathing, indicating she was ready to act.

Luo Yang said, “Madam Teng, hear me out. Sister Yue and Sister Jing have been frightened; letting them sit down is no big deal, right? I apologize for deceiving you. Words are futile now; only by first restoring you to your former self can we discuss anything further, how about that?”

This suggestion garnered Lord Bao’s approval.

“You’re mine! And the Blood Devil is mine too! If you deceive me again, everyone will die!” Lord Bao said harshly.

Luo Yang reached out to wrap Lord Bao’s vine-like waist and pulled her closer, letting her head rest on his broad shoulder.

“Madam Teng, if I deceive you, Sister Yue, Sister Jing, and I are willing to die in front of you,” Luo Yang declared solemnly.

“How do you plan to restore me?!” Lord Bao asked urgently.

Luo Yang had indeed conceived a plan, though it wasn’t foolproof.

But the chances of success were still quite high.

Fearing Lord Bao’s refusal, Luo Yang said, “Madam Teng, I have an idea, but it’s risky. I’m not sure if I should say it.”

Lord Bao replied coldly, “Speak!”

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Shuiyue and Jinghua trembled slightly.

Luo Yang gently squeezed their hands to reassure them.

Once Shuiyue and Jinghua were somewhat calmer, Luo Yang said, “Madam Teng, here’s my plan. I’ll speak with Aunt Thirteen, tell her I wish to bring her here to deal with you, but will convince them to restore you to your original form. I believe Shi Sheng Palace has the means.”

Lord Bao fell silent upon hearing the plan.

Luo Yang continued, “Madam Teng, I’ve heard your current state was caused by Shi Sheng Palace. They surely have a way to restore you.”

After a brief silence, Lord Bao asked, “They’ll tell you?!”

Apparently, she was skeptical of Luo Yang.

Though not a guaranteed chance, there was still hope.

Lord Bao, desperate to return to her original appearance, said, “If you restore me, I’ll meet your conditions!”

Luo Yang said, “Madam Teng, the danger in this plan is that Shi Sheng Palace might actually send people here, so you should prepare to retreat.”

With a cold snort, Lord Bao said, “If they dare come, I’ll kill them!”

Lord Bao apparently had the capability to confront Shi Sheng Palace’s people.

However, if Shi Sheng Palace came, Jiuyang Hall and Eight Immortals Hall would likely join forces as well.

“Madam Teng, you should also prepare to retreat. Whether I succeed or fail, they’ll attack,” Luo Yang advised.

After all, Shuiyue and Jinghua still had to stay here. Appeasing Lord Bao first was necessary, to minimize her venting of anger on Shuiyue and Jinghua.

Lord Bao’s capricious temperament easily led her to reprimand people.
