Saint Seiya: The Multiverse Libra Gold Saint
Chapter 35 35: SS 35: Hunter and Prey
"Have you ever heard the roar of light?"
Kaiser raised his right hand slightly.
"What's that?"
"Fist light! The light of the Light Speed Fist!"
The lord of Death Queen Island was shocked.
Was Kaiser really going to take him out along with the rest?
To deal with a bunch of dark creatures, he was even using the Light Speed Fist.
"Swish…"
Golden beams of light pierced the heavens, flashing wildly.
"Listen to your requiem."
"Boom!"
The beams flickered frantically.
"You can leave now."
"Go straight back to Death Queen Island."
Kaiser's voice echoed in the island lord's mind.
The lord breathed a sigh of relief. Good, Kaiser wasn't planning to kill him.
Then, excruciating pain surged through his body, and he was gravely injured.
He was blasted out of the battlefield, landing at the edge of the barrier.
As for the traitorous Dark Saints of Death Queen Island, they were all wiped out.
The Light Speed Fist raged.
Countless beams danced.
All traces of the town's existence were erased.
The dark creatures didn't even leave behind atomic nuclei.
They were completely evaporated by Kaiser's single punch.
This was the power of a Golden Saint!
Its strength was far beyond what mortals could match.
Dracula struggled desperately within the Light Speed Fist.
This was still Kaiser's area-of-effect attack.
If it were one-on-one, Dracula felt he would've died millions of times over.
"Aaaahhh!!!"
A beastly roar erupted.
Blood-red mist enveloped Dracula's body, shielding him from the Light Speed Fist's onslaught.
When everything settled, the blood mist around Dracula dissipated.
He knelt on the ground.
The scene before him made his pupils contract sharply.
The earth looked as if a chunk had been carved out.
The uneven ground was now smooth and flat.
But all the dark creatures, including the Dark Saints of Death Queen Island, had vanished without a trace.
Such overwhelming power left Dracula dazed.
"Tap… tap… tap…"
"Name the evil god behind you."
"I'll let you die quickly."
Kaiser stood about three meters from Dracula.
The trident of the Libra Gold Cloth pointed directly at Dracula's forehead.
He wouldn't make such a rookie mistake.
Getting close to an enemy with unknown trump cards was a sure way to die without knowing how.
Especially since, given Dracula's plague-spreading tactics, he likely carried some kind of curse or poison.
Either way, Kaiser had no intention of finding out.
And indeed, he sensed a faint, looming threat from Dracula.
With Dracula's strength, he clearly posed no threat to Kaiser.
That could only mean Dracula was carrying something capable of endangering his life.
"Heh."
"Even if you're this powerful, can you defeat a god?"
Dracula raised his head, glaring at Kaiser.
His eyes were filled with unwillingness and resentment.
None of his trump cards had come into play.
Even his cosmos, infinitely close to the seventh sense, was a joke before this man.
Just one Light Speed Fist.
And all his enemies were defeated.
Such an existence was unbeatable.
But what Dracula didn't know was that his plan might have succeeded against some of the weaker Golden Saints in the Sanctuary.
Unfortunately, he was up against Kaiser, one of the top combatants on earth.
Even in the Sanctuary, only three could surpass Kaiser!
Itia, Cresto, and Athena.
"What's this?"
Kaiser's trident flicked.
A small vial was revealed at Dracula's chest.
"Hm?"
"So that faint sense of danger."
"It was coming from this thing."
"What is it?"
"Poison?"
"A curse?"
Kaiser looked at Dracula.
"Utter defeat."
Dracula had sobered up considerably by now.
"Useless!"
Hydra's voice rang out.
"Aaaahhh!!!"
Dracula suddenly began to writhe and roar, his body undergoing a frenzied transformation.
New heads sprouted eerily from his shoulders.
Kaiser's pupils narrowed. He flicked the vial away, storing it in a spatial dimension, and rapidly retreated.
He sensed powerful divinity.
He understood that the god behind Dracula had appeared.
"As expected, he was just a vessel."
Kaiser stood at a distance. He had no habit of watching his enemies emerge.
"Lightning Speed Fist!"
A more powerful Light Speed Fist roared forth.
The thundering bolts of lightning struck Dracula's body in full force.
His form was sent flying backward.
But this wasn't what Kaiser wanted to see.
If it were just Dracula, this Light Speed Fist should have obliterated his body entirely.
Not sent him flying.
This meant his physical strength had been infinitely enhanced.
"Aaah!"
Dracula's roars continued.
Then, his head exploded.
A grotesque, eerie snake head took its place.
"Four snake heads?"
"You're the Hydra?"
Kaiser frowned, his tone laced with suspicion.
The Hydra, a divine beast.
It could be called a god but not quite a complete one.
If anything, it was akin to a demigod.
Like Hercules.
But in the Mythological Era, this creature was supposed to have died!
To think it would revive in this era.
"I didn't expect that after all these years since the Mythological Era, someone would still remember me."
A eerie, hoarse voice reached Kaiser's ears.
"No wonder the earth is plagued with disease."
Kaiser understood.
The Hydra itself was a creature that carried deadly poison.
A single breath could pollute the air.
But judging by its current state, it hadn't fully reclaimed its power.
"Eighth sense strength?"
"This should be a fight worth having!"
Kaiser's eyes burned as he stared at the Hydra.
The chance to battle a god wasn't something that came often.
