CHAPTER 336: CHAPTER 336: DO YOU INTEND TO EAT FOR FREE?

Shen Weiyi walked over to open the door and saw Shen Jingqi walking in from outside, smiling and greeting, "My brother said he’s treating me to a grand meal."

Shen Weiyi, "Yeah, king crab, giant lobsters. Isn’t that grand enough?"

Shen Jingqi’s eyes lit up, "So lavish, it’s true love from my brother."

Just as he finished speaking, he saw Sheng Ting emerging from the kitchen, pointing to the bags of seafood on the floor, "You’re just in time, help me clean these."

Resignedly, Shen Jingqi picked up a bag from the floor, "How do I clean this?" He had eaten them before but never washed them.

"Okay, leave it to me." Shen Jingqi rolled up his sleeves and got to work.

Shen Weiyi, struggling to hold back laughter, said, "Then I’ll leave you to it, I’m heading out."

The afternoon class was a public one, and it was quite crowded. Shen Weiyi had barely entered the classroom when someone bumped into him from behind again.

He glanced back—it was the same girl as last time.

Shen Weiyi furrowed his brows, not wanting to make a big deal out of it, but then he heard her snort disdainfully, saying sarcastically, "I don’t know how certain people got into Z University, acting like a student but spending all day with outsiders. Who knows if they’re involved in some shady dealings?"

Though she didn’t name anyone, it was clear to everyone she was talking about Shen Weiyi, and soon all eyes were on him.

"Please clarify what you’re saying." Shen Weiyi’s expression cooled.

Although he didn’t want to cause a scene, he wasn’t afraid of one either. The provocations were getting to him, and even his patience was wearing thin.

The girl "hmphed" and said, "I’ll make it clear. More than once, people have seen luxury cars come to pick you up at school, and it’s always a different car. Care to explain that?"

Shen Weiyi, "Explain what?"

"Obviously, explain your relationship with those luxury car owners." She was aggressively insistent.

"Who are you? Do you think I need to explain anything to you?" Shen Weiyi’s tone was indifferent.

"You wouldn’t be feeling guilty, would you?" The girl thought she had caught Shen Weiyi out and her face showed mocking pride.

Shen Weiyi looked at her with a mix of indifference and a touch of pity, "All I can say is, ignorance is really scary!"

"Who are you calling ignorant?" The girl instantly showed an angry expression.

Shen Weiyi, "Some people are unfortunate themselves and think everyone else is like them, assuming they can only ride in luxury cars if they depend on a man. Haven’t you ever considered that the cars I ride might belong to my own family?"

"How could that be?" the girl blurted out. "Those luxury cars are all different brands; you mean to say they all belong to your family? Ha, you really think too highly of yourself, lying without even a draft. Who would own so many luxury cars?" She must think it’s like buying cabbage.

"Unfortunately for you, my family does. You probably haven’t seen what a wealthy family’s garage looks like, which just goes to show that poverty has limited your imagination." Shen Weiyi spoke calmly, clearly without much emotion.

The girl, however, heard sympathy and pity in his words.

Her face turned bright red instantly.
