"I’m not used to staying with others," Shen Weiyi said.

"What do you mean by that?" Chen Rong glared at her. Did she expect to have a room to herself?

Shen Weiyi: "You could find another hotel. I will cover this stay myself, and you can seek reimbursement from the company for your share."

"Fine, whatever!" Chen Rong, gritting her teeth, felt that anyone would prefer to stay alone if possible. Since Shen Weiyi was insistent on paying, Chen Rong had no reason to argue.

"You should have arrived this morning. Did you contact the client’s company? What did they say? When are the meetings scheduled?" she continued coldly.

Shen Weiyi: "We’ve been in touch. However, the project head was unavailable today, so we’ve arranged to visit the company tomorrow morning and might go to the factory in the afternoon. Oh, and there’s a dinner tonight; it’s a welcoming one. It will be attended by the CEO and project head of the client company."

"You, just a lowly intern, and they’d have the big boss accompany you for dinner?" Chen Rong looked at her skeptically, suspecting she was dreaming.

Normally, at their level, mostly secretaries take care of such duties, and if they’re a bit more serious, they might send a project manager.

Although the company is newly developed, it being appreciated by Secretary Jiang suggests that the client company is not without strength. How could a respected company president demean himself to dine with a mere client representative?
