Chapter 17 Marry Me, I’ll Help You Bully Whoever You Want to Bully Back
CHAPTER 17: CHAPTER 17 MARRY ME, I’LL HELP YOU BULLY WHOEVER YOU WANT TO BULLY BACK
The company belongs to Dad, so whenever there’s a problem with the Sutton Clan, it always worries her.
But now it’s the Walyons handling things, and Summer Sutton can only worry; before she takes back the company, she can’t do anything.
Summer Sutton felt terrible, distractedly watching the news, like a defeated rooster.
"In a bad mood?" Adrian Walyon asked knowingly.
"Getting involved with you for no reason, can my mood be good?" Summer Sutton answered irritably.
Adrian Walyon knew she wasn’t telling the truth but didn’t hold it against her.
"Something on your mind?" Adrian Walyon asked again.
He had a gut feeling that it wasn’t as simple as what had just happened.
Summer Sutton slumped her head, ignoring him.
"Were you bullied?" Adrian Walyon asked again.
"Are you going to help me bully them back?" Summer Sutton raised her face in response.
She was actually defying him, never expecting Adrian Walyon wouldn’t take her words as a joke.
"Marry into the Walyon Family, get registered, and whoever you want to bully, I’ll help you!" he said earnestly, holding her hand.
Summer Sutton was stunned, staring at him for a long time without snapping out of it.
Why did she hear a sense of pampering in his words?
But marriage is a big deal. She had only known him for a day, Summer Sutton knew nothing about him, and she didn’t want to carelessly gamble her life away.
"It’s unreasonable to get married without giving someone a chance to think." She turned her back, neither rejecting nor agreeing, "Give me some time."
She had obviously retracted her sharp edge, not like she was intentionally dragging things with him.
Adrian Walyon thought about it and felt she was right, then agreed, "Give me an answer in a week, and stay here for now."
...
The Walyons.
William Sutton had just dropped Gina Sutton off at school when he received a call from the Walyons.
Gina Sutton quickly washed her face and went to the Walyons with William Sutton.
The incident was too sudden, she even touched up her makeup on the car.
In the garden, the father and daughter walked side by side. As they walked, William Sutton instructed her, "The Walyons are a large family with a deep background; when you meet anyone at the family later, be careful."
"Dad, I know, I’ll handle it well," Gina Sutton assured him.
"Gina, you know, thanks to your grandfather, the Walyons favor our family. You have to make good use of this chance. If the Walyons like you, this marriage will basically be settled. Once we ally with the Walyons, our family’s power won’t be something ordinary people can compare to."
"Dad, what are you worried about? Which elders don’t like me?" Gina Sutton cuddled up to his arm affectionately, acting cute.
"Also, don’t let the Walyons know about Summer’s existence. If the Walyons ask about her later, do you know what to say?" This was William Sutton’s biggest concern, and the only stumbling block for Gina in the Walyons.
"Just say she died in a car accident with her dad ten years ago." Gina Sutton replied without even thinking.
"If they don’t ask, don’t bring it up yourself, understand? Saying too much can lead to mistakes."
"Understood, Dad."
The father and daughter discussed everything and followed the servant who came to receive them into the hall.
They were received by Paul Walyon and Diana Wood.
"Hello, Uncle, Aunt!" Gina Sutton greeted as soon as she walked in, politely addressing them.
In front of elders, she always appeared gentle and obedient, her manner giving off a kind and soft impression. Indeed, elders typically liked such girls.
