CHAPTER 182: CHAPTER 182: CAN’T BEAR TO PART WITH ME?
The frequency of dying once every minute was unbearable for teammates.
Summer Sutton’s rank in the game is Strongest King, and the impressive name suggests that those who reach this rank are all masters.
Four minutes into the game, Summer Sutton received a teammate’s comment: Weakest King.
The most inept among all Strongest King players.
A very objective and pitiless assessment.
Summer Sutton was embarrassed.
But, not being good at games really means nothing.
On the contrary, it might just explain that she’s a model student, spending all her spare time on studying?
Summer Sutton found a very good excuse for her lousy gameplay.
...
Ryan Walyon and Sophie Walyon didn’t stay long at the villa before leaving.
Ryan Walyon mentioned a trip to London. After he left, Adrian Walyon immediately searched for tickets to London.
Having roughly planned the departure time, his gaze suddenly fell upon Summer Sutton beside him.
"Do you want to..." words hadn’t left his mouth before Summer Sutton interrupted, "I’m back to school."
She knew what he intended to say, Summer Sutton was merely reminding him.
She’s a student and hasn’t graduated yet, so her time is not as free as his.
Even if she wanted to accompany him, she couldn’t.
Adrian Walyon was resigned and bought his own ticket.
His ticket was for tomorrow, allowing him one more day at home.
Adrian Walyon didn’t go to the company today and instead did one thing at home, having all of yesterday’s news involving Summer Sutton and Lruis Evans deleted.
The woman is his, Adrian Walyon trusts Summer Sutton’s character, but that doesn’t mean he can tolerate his wife being featured in news with other men!
...
Summer Sutton went to Ariella Sawyer’s place in the afternoon.
There was originally a lot going on at Ariella Sawyer’s side, and once Summer Sutton arrived, she worked overtime until eight o’clock.
There was still work to be done, and she should have stayed another two hours, but suddenly she thought of Adrian Walyon.
Adrian Walyon would leave tomorrow, and she seemed to feel she should return home earlier.
"Little Ariella, I’ve got something to do, I’m heading back today. On a day without classes, I’ll come back to make up for the lost time here!" she explained to Ariella Sawyer and hurriedly left.
It was nine o’clock when she got back to Sutton Gardens.
Adrian Walyon was packing a suitcase, momentarily stunned to see her return on her own.
"Weren’t you supposed to be back by eleven?"
"The work at the studio ended earlier." Summer Sutton casually found an excuse.
She took off her coat, changed into something comfortable, and stood by quietly watching him.
"What? Can’t bear to see me go?" Adrian Walyon noticed her gaze, teasing lightly.
"You’re overthinking." Summer Sutton shot him a look and shifted her gaze away.
But soon, she couldn’t help but glance back in his direction.
Couldn’t bear it?
They’ve only known each other for a few months, how could that be?
Yet, pondering that the house will be just her over the coming days, she felt a bit unsettled.
"Really not?" Adrian Walyon stopped his packing motion, lifting his face to gaze at her deeply, "Actually, if you say you can’t bear it, I might not go."
His voice drew out slightly, and Summer Sutton couldn’t tell whether he was joking or serious.
Gazing at him for quite a while, she denied again, "No!"
"I see! Truly disappointing." Adrian Walyon shrugged, securing the suitcase and slowly approached her, pushing her into a corner, "Tonight’s my last night at home, should we make good use of it?"
