CHAPTER 190: CHAPTER 190: HATRED DEEPENS

Why does Gina Sutton always get to have everyone revolve around her?

Once again, my path into the Walyon Family is obstructed because of her. Will it be thwarted again this time?

Gina Sutton gazed at Summer Sutton, and a bit more hatred bloomed in her heart.

Summer Sutton never really had feelings for her, never really spoke to her.

After breakfast, she carried a book and, with the family driver accompanying her, headed to school.

Gina Sutton stood at the gateway of the Walyon Family estate, quietly staring at the car Summer was in for a long time, lost in thought about something, before turning away.

Today she had no classes; she returned home in the morning and came to the Walyon Family in the afternoon.

Diana Wood really liked her; she found her sweet-tongued, obedient, graceful, and enjoyed chatting with her.

The driver responsible for picking up Summer Sutton started preparing at four in the afternoon.

Before departing from the Walyon Family, the driver habitually took his thermos and filled it with hot water to bring with him in the car.

Gina Sutton stared at his thermos with a quiet intensity, her hands trembling slightly.

Seizing the moment when the driver went to get the car keys, and seeing no one around, Gina Sutton quietly approached the small table with the thermos, opened the lid, placed something inside, then closed it again and put it back, feigning nonchalance as she went to chat with Diana Wood once more.

The driver, unaware of anything, grabbed his thermos and drove off with the car keys.

Arriving at the entrance of the Film Academy, he waited for Summer Sutton for a while. While waiting, the driver opened his thermos and took a few sips of water.

Summer Sutton appeared at the school gates at four-thirty.

"Uncle Lee, I’m done with class!" she greeted the driver and got into the car.

"Young Madam, do you need to go anywhere else today?" the driver asked as he drove.

Summer Sutton thought about visiting Ariella Sawyer but realized it was too late to do anything worthwhile and replied, "No, just head home!"

"Alright." The driver nodded and smoothly drove towards the Walyon Family estate.

The driver arranged by Adrian Walyon for Summer Sutton was the same one who had been driving him since childhood.

He had watched Adrian grow up, was reliable, and drove steadily, unlike some other drivers who were impatient.

However, today, the drive hadn’t been smooth for a few minutes, and Summer Sutton sensed something wasn’t quite right.

It didn’t feel as stable as previous days, a bit precarious.

"Uncle Lee, didn’t you sleep well last night?" Summer Sutton attributed the issue to the driver possibly being tired.

The driver couldn’t quite say; he felt fine when he set out, but in just a short time, his head was feeling dizzy.

His vision blurred, and his mind felt foggy as if he hadn’t slept in days.

"No worries, don’t be concerned," he reassured her, and to perk up, opened the thermos and took a few more sips.

The car continued moving along the road.

The further they went, the more Summer Sutton felt something was off.

Within fifteen minutes of leaving the school, they had nearly collided with other cars several times.

"Uncle Lee, why don’t you rest for a bit and I’ll drive?" Considering their safety, Summer Sutton suggested.

By now, the driver’s head was so heavy he could barely cope; he intended to stop and let her take over but mistakenly pressed the accelerator.

The car sped straight towards an oncoming truck.

The truck driver didn’t expect a car to suddenly cross the yellow line and attempted to avoid it, but a series of frantic missteps occurred.
