CHAPTER 29: CHAPTER 29: MY INNOCENCE, YOU’RE WELCOME TO DESTROY IT

As she entered, she was greeted with the same peculiar looks.

Summer Sutton couldn’t stand it anymore, stopped in her tracks, turned her head, and her gaze swept over to one of the classmates, "What are you all looking at?"

"Asking others about things you did yourself?" The girl she asked huffed and turned her head away in disdain, walking off.

Things I did myself?

The confusion in Summer Sutton’s heart grew deeper.

Torn, she sat down next to Zoe Baxter, and after sitting down, Zoe was also staring at her.

"Baxter!" Summer Sutton plopped the book in her hand down, her gaze shifting to her, "Tell me, what exactly happened today?"

"You don’t know?" Zoe was visibly more baffled than she was.

"Know what? I just got to school," Summer replied irritably.

Zoe took out her phone, opened a webpage, and showed it to her.

Zoe had opened the Film Academy’s campus forum.

On the forum, it was flooded with threads about Summer Sutton today.

There was only one topic of discussion: Summer Sutton had checked into a room with someone last night.

There were even many photos of Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon going into a hotel.

Around the topic of checking into a room, commentaries on the forum were very heated, even filled with words like "kept" and "sponsor."

Summer Sutton held the phone stiffly, her mind buzzing.

She was a student, and associating a student with words like "kept" and "sponsor" was never a good thing, and the matter had blown up so much.

After going through the morning, Summer Sutton’s reputation was utterly ruined.

"Summer, is this true?" Zoe asked with concern upon seeing her silence.

"I’ll explain this to you later." Summer returned the phone to her, forcing herself not to think about the forum thing, focusing instead on the lecture.

The forum matter seemed like it was still fermenting.

Throughout the day, no matter where Summer Sutton went, she always received strange looks.

The fact that she and Adrian Walyon checked into a room last night was probably known across the school.

Summer Sutton couldn’t explain no matter how she tried, and with such a matter, strangers wouldn’t necessarily believe even if she explained.

Summer’s heart felt as uncomfortable as if she’d swallowed a bitter lotus seed.

At four o’clock, Adrian Walyon’s car appeared on time outside her school gate.

Seeing him, Summer Sutton immediately felt a surge of anger.

It was all his fault!

Staring at him leaning on the car, she walked over and angrily gave his chest a punch, "Because of you, I’m now notorious at school. Now everyone knows I’m tangled up with some guy! My innocence is gone. With this, how am I supposed to live normally at school?"

She spoke with deep resentment, feeling both wronged and innocent.

What had she done wrong to be caught up in all this?

Although she didn’t specify what happened today, Adrian guessed just by thinking a little.

Grasping her fist, Adrian wasn’t annoyed by her brazenness.

Seeing Summer’s spirits so low because of today’s matter, he jokingly yet earnestly replied, "I don’t mind if you come and ruin my innocence!"

Summer Sutton was left speechless by him, staring at him dumbly for a while before snorting disdainfully, "You still have innocence?"

For a man like him, with deep family background and outstanding looks, there must be a ton of women lining up to get involved with him. How could he still have innocence?

"I’m quite selective, not interested in just any roadside wildflower or weed," Adrian didn’t explain further and directly started the car.
