CHAPTER 54: CHAPTER 54: PUNISHED

In the past, Adrian Walyon was held in high regard by everyone. While the outside world expected that, once he grew up, he would follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, don military attire, and lead a life in the military, he took an unconventional path and entered the business world instead.

There are many introductions about the Walyon Family’s background. As one of the top families in Northtown, they can walk freely anywhere in the country and even receive personal receptions from royal families abroad.

Adrian Walyon’s personal net worth starts in the billions.

Since Summer Sutton met Adrian, she knew his background was not simple, but she never imagined it would be so illustrious.

Summer Sutton learned a lot about Adrian Walyon through the internet, and she was not intimidated by his status; instead, she thought more about herself.

Being engaged to such a man, if after four months when she turns twenty, she still doesn’t want to marry into the Walyon Family, what will she do?

Her strength to resist Adrian Walyon, isn’t that just an egg hitting a rock?

In the afternoon, Summer Sutton attended two more classes.

After class, it started to rain heavily.

Summer Sutton was punished to clean the dormitory building by the dorm manager for Adrian Walyon entering the girls’ dorm last night.

She looked at the time on her phone; it was still early. Considering that with such heavy rain, Adrian Walyon probably wouldn’t come, Summer Sutton decided to go back to the dormitory and resolve the punishment issue.

The dormitory building she lived in had ten floors, with long corridors on each floor.

After sweeping all ten floors, two hours had passed.

Summer Sutton was exhausted, her back and waist were aching.

She treated the broom in her hand as Adrian Walyon, stomped on it angrily to vent. She had cursed him countless times in her heart today.

It was all his fault!

Blame him!

Even making her lose twelve points was not enough; he even got her punished!

What frustrated Summer Sutton more was that if the dorm building just needed its floors and corridors cleaned, it would be one thing, but there was also a large garden downstairs where she lived.

With the autumn wind rising and the autumn rain falling, the garden was covered with fallen maple leaves everywhere.

Summer Sutton carried the broom out of the dormitory building and was immediately soaked through.

Zoe Baxter felt sorry for her, seeing her cleaning the yard from upstairs, she ran down while holding an umbrella.

"This dorm manager is really something, not distinguishing right from wrong, with the rain this heavy, what if a student gets sick, then what?"

Supporting the umbrella above Summer Sutton’s head, she followed her every step.

Summer Sutton knew she meant well, smiled at her in reassurance, "It’s okay, isn’t it always the rule in the dorms?"

Blame Adrian Walyon!

The umbrella Zoe Baxter had was just a normal-sized one; with the rain being slightly heavy, it couldn’t even cover one person, let alone two.

"Zoe, the rain is too heavy. Why don’t you go back upstairs? I can finish this quickly." Summer Sutton didn’t want her to suffer with her and wanted her to go up.

"Go up? In this heavy rain, how long will it take you to sweep alone? I’ll go get a broom and join you!" Zoe Baxter handed the umbrella to her, then turned and went inside the dormitory building.

She looked on the first floor but couldn’t find any cleaning tools, so she ran to their dorm.

Once she left, several minutes passed without her coming down.

Summer Sutton was downstairs alone; the wind was so strong while she was sweeping that her umbrella was blown over several times.

She just wanted to finish the task quickly and report back to the dorm manager. As for the fallen leaves that dropped after she cleaned, those were not her responsibility.

Putting the umbrella aside, Summer Sutton continued to sweep in the rain.
