CHAPTER 572: CHAPTER 572: THE BIRTHDAY GIFT PREPARED FOR HIM
She obviously didn’t want to have any relationship with Ryan Walyon, clearing up last night’s matter thoroughly.
With a single sentence, she headed into the filming set.
Ryan Walyon stood stiffly in place, somewhat surprised by her words.
Summer Sutton gazed at the wound on his forehead, examining it repeatedly, and timidly asked, "So, how did you get the injury on your forehead?"
"..." Ryan Walyon was speechless from her question.
Summer Sutton continued to look at him, seemingly filled with curiosity about the question.
"Maybe I drank too much and fell on the ground." Ryan Walyon felt somewhat awkward under her gaze and casually replied, pouring a glass of water to hand to her.
"Go back and apply it well; don’t drink so much next time." Summer Sutton reminded him.
"Okay," Ryan Walyon replied, his gaze falling on the filming scene.
Summer Sutton didn’t stay long on set; after watching the filming for a while, she returned to attend a company training for new employees.
Today, she spent the whole day contemplating what kind of work she should present in the competition.
Even after work, she was still thinking about it, so much so that she forgot to feed Unity.
Unity was a little foodie and couldn’t tolerate its stomach being hungry for even half a minute.
Seeing that Summer Sutton had no intention of feeding it, Unity anxiously circled around her, meowing at her repeatedly.
Failing to catch her attention, it tugged at her skirt, attempting to drag her toward its cat dish.
Summer Sutton snapped back, looked at it, and picked it up, "Alright, alright, I know you’re hungry. I’ll give you some fish snacks shortly."
Upon hearing fish snacks, Unity’s eyes lit up, affectionately nuzzling its head against her cheek repeatedly, seemingly very happy.
Summer Sutton was amused by it, fed it some cat food and grains, and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
By the end of November in Northtown, winter signs were already showing.
The trees in Morning Garden were mostly leafless, left with only branches.
Summer Sutton stared out the window for a moment, suddenly remembering something.
Adrian Walyon’s birthday is coming up, right?
Picking up her phone, she checked the date.
Today is already the twenty-fourth, tomorrow it is.
She almost forgot about this...
Summer Sutton had known Adrian Walyon for more than two years but had never spent a birthday with him.
He remembered everything related to her so clearly.
However, she almost forgot things related to him.
Summer Sutton quietly stared at the time on her phone, with an unfamiliar feeling inside.
While making dinner, she seriously pondered what kind of birthday gift to give him to make up for the past two years’ neglect.
What would he like?
Adrian Walyon already has everything. If he wants something, a phone call and his assistant would bring it immediately. Summer Sutton truly couldn’t think of anything he might be lacking.
Such a person seems to care about nothing, and Summer Sutton thought he probably wouldn’t like any gift.
Summer Sutton couldn’t think of a good gift despite racking her brain and finally decided to try knitting him a sweater.
With the cold weather now, she felt that a sweater was quite appropriate.
Summer Sutton had never done sweater knitting before.
In the evening, while waiting for Adrian Walyon, she drove out to buy yarn and needles and spent some time figuring it out herself.
However, after knitting a small section and seeing the crooked stitches, Summer Sutton found it really ugly and gave up on knitting the sweater.
