Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 79: Finally Arrived
CHAPTER 79: CHAPTER 79: FINALLY ARRIVED
Tonight could be considered their newlywed night, right?
On such a night, what else can two newly married people do?
Summer Sutton thought about it, and her face turned red...
Adrian Walyon gave her a sidelong glance, and his lips curled up arrogantly.
She owed a lot before, and tonight it’s time for her to pay up!
On the way back, they passed by a pharmacy, and Adrian walked right in.
Summer Sutton originally thought he got off the car because they were out of some daily medications.
Who knew, following Adrian inside, he headed straight for the family planning section.
Seeing the direction he was heading, her already blushing face suddenly turned fiery red.
What made her even more embarrassed was that Adrian took quite a lot of the items.
Summer Sutton felt this kind of thing was quite embarrassing, burying her head, hiding behind him, afraid of being seen by acquaintances.
Glancing at the pile of boxes in his hand, she awkwardly asked, "Why are you buying so many?"
Adrian turned his face, full of pride, "Because I’m highly functional, with strong fighting power!"
He said it directly, his reason simple yet blunt.
Summer Sutton was dumbfounded.
Truly shameless!
Adrian gave her a sidelong glance, coldly laughed, "Didn’t Miss Sutton doubt this before? Experience it well tonight!"
After dropping this line, he went ahead to the cashier before her.
Summer Sutton stood stiffly in place, her little face falling into a heap.
She didn’t want to experience, she just wanted to refuse!
Adrian already checked out and went ahead outside.
Summer Sutton caught up in a few steps, probing his reaction while walking, "I heard such things shouldn’t be too frequent in a week, otherwise it causes that sort of deficiency."
She was hinting at kidney deficiency.
Adrian’s gaze swept over her, scanning her from top to bottom, his lips full of mockery, "Could you really cause me kidney deficiency? Just make sure you don’t find yourself unable to get out of bed every day!"
He was pretty disdainful of Summer Sutton’s constitution, someone who catches a fever just from getting rained on.
Summer Sutton, "..."
Adrian seemed in a good mood today, the corners of his lips slightly curved as he got in the car.
Summer Sutton followed him in, and they returned to Sutton Gardens together.
Today’s Sutton Gardens had been specially arranged.
Probably planned by Adrian; from stepping into the garden to entering the main house, the path was shimmering with light.
A long petal-strewn path stretched from the villa’s main entrance all the way to the master bedroom upstairs.
On both sides of the path, rows of candlelight flickered like stars in the night.
Tonight, Sutton Gardens truly had the feel of a newlywed night.
When they entered the house, there were only Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon, as the servants had probably been dismissed by Adrian.
Dinner had been prepared by the servants before they left.
On the dining table sat a large bouquet of fresh Regula hydrangeas, white with a hint of very soft green.
Hydrangeas, the flower most commonly seen at weddings, symbolize steadfastness and eternity.
Adrian sat down before her, opened a bottle of red wine, poured himself a glass, and poured her one too.
He pushed it towards her, and with a quiet remark, he said, "Eat well! Don’t whine later about being worn out!"
By "being worn out," he meant physically exhausted.
Summer Sutton was already nervous tonight, and his reminder made her even more uneasy.
Holding the wine he poured, she drank it all in one go.
They were already married, after all, this day was bound to come sooner or later.
Fueled by the alcohol, Summer Sutton decided to throw caution to the wind.
Only eating a little, she suddenly stood up, "Adrian Walyon, just do whatever you want, let’s be quick about it!"
