CHAPTER 80: CHAPTER 80: DON’T LET ME OVERSLEEP

She seemed completely ready, her back straight like she was going to face execution rather than dedicating herself.

Summer Sutton felt that the slow anticipation was too torturous, and it would be better to just start quickly and finish quickly.

Adrian Walyon squinted his eyes, studied her for a moment, and casually uttered, "In such a rush?"

Summer was indeed eager, eager to get through tonight quickly.

Without acknowledging his words, she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck...

There was a faint smell of alcohol on her, intoxicating like the scent of Blue Bell on her.

Summer was somewhat forceful as she wrapped her arms around him, moving her face closer to his.

At this moment, she was stubborn like a child, and her actions were even somewhat amusing.

Adrian was briefly at a loss with her, without offering any response.

With a knife in one hand and a fork in the other, he continued to eat casually.

Finding the taste quite good, he even let out a satisfied sound.

His actions were leisurely as if he was in no hurry, contrasting sharply with Summer’s anxious mood tonight.

Summer turned her head to look at him, suddenly wanting to punch him.

Is he doing this on purpose?

Is he just trying to slowly torment her?

Actually, Adrian still enjoyed his meal because he felt that tonight’s dinner was more meaningful.

Today was the day they got their marriage certificate, tonight was essentially their wedding night.

On such an important day, he didn’t want tonight to pass too quickly.

This dinner was a must, if for nothing else than as a memorable meal.

Seeing Summer still motionless, he cut a piece of steak and brought it to her lips, "Eat it!"

Summer ignored him.

She didn’t want to eat.

She felt like a lamb being fed before slaughter.

Adrian ignored it all, his handsome face slightly tense, and his slender and beautiful fingertips pinched her small chin, forcing her to open her mouth, and pushed the beef in.

"When I say eat, you eat!" His tone was dominantly harsh, not permitting any defiance.

"Adrian, haven’t you had enough?" Summer glared at him, displeased.

"The night is still long, what’s the rush?" Adrian ignored her gaze, cutting the steak into small pieces and feeding her one by one.

Summer reluctantly, but passively, swallowed the meat.

Tonight, Adrian seemed particularly attentive, fearing she might choke, occasionally bringing a glass of red wine to Summer’s lips.

He was even mindful of nutritional balance, giving Summer a bit of all kinds of food.

Summer sat in his arms, her body stiff, acting like a puppet throughout.

The longer the wait, the more anxious she felt.

Finally unable to hold back, in an attempt to muster some courage, she drank two more glasses of red wine consecutively.

With her alcohol tolerance, she could only manage two to three glasses of regular strength red wine.

Even before finishing dinner, Summer’s head felt a little dizzy.

"Adrian, I feel like sleeping..." Her hand fumbled for his beside her, and Summer’s voice sounded a bit aggrieved.

Adrian’s expression froze, staring at her drunken face for a while, he harshly reminded her, "Stay awake, no sleeping, remember everything that happens tonight well!"

He was very domineering, controlling even her consciousness, something Summer herself couldn’t manage.

Summer rubbed her temples with her white fingers, boldly retorting, "I just wanted to, but you didn’t care about me!"
