CHAPTER 182: CHAPTER 184: INFINITE BLACK HOLE

Su Xingyu raised her glass to toast them: "Thank you for rescuing me last time in the middle of the night. And I’m really sorry that you got beaten up by Lu Shifeng because of it." Saying this, she tilted her head back, draining the entire glass of wine.

This was her purpose for inviting them today; that hurried farewell left too many thanks and apologies unspoken.

Ouyang Yi looked at her tenderly, under the dim lights of the private room, his eyes seemed to glisten: "No matter when you need me, I’ll always be by your side. Xingyu, if you encounter any trouble in the future, don’t hesitate to come to me, no need to stand on ceremony."

"And me, me too!" Ling Weilong chimed in, unwilling to be left behind.

Su Xingyu felt waves of warmth rise in her heart, lifting her glass again to clink with theirs.

The meal was enjoyed by all, and when it ended, Su Xingyu called for the bill.

A waiter in a neat uniform came in, bowed his head to Su Xingyu and said, "Miss, Mr. Ouyang has already paid the bill in advance, all the expenses for this meal are on his account, no need for you to pay."

Su Xingyu was momentarily stunned, then she opened her eyes wide, looking accusingly at Ouyang Yi: "You—!"

Ouyang Yi smiled lazily yet charmingly, "In my presence, when does a lady ever need to pay?"

"But..." Su Xingyu felt very awkward, "I clearly said I’d be treating this meal."

"I didn’t want to eat anything from Blade Group the Lu Family." Mr. Ouyang’s arrogance showed.

"I wasn’t planning to use Lu Shifeng’s money anyway!" Su Xingyu accidentally blurted out the truth.

Ling Weilong, struck by realization, looked at her as if she were crazy: "You’re saying, you never intended to use your husband’s money, but wanted to use your meager salary to pay the bill?" He had specifically chosen this place to give her a run for her money, not to take advantage of her pitiful blood and sweat money!

Ouyang Yi laughed like a cunning fox, "Exactly, use the money you earned yourself instead of his? This young master can’t afford to lose face like that!" As a dashing and wealthy gentleman, how could he have a reason to spend a woman’s hard-earned money?

Su Xingyu was speechless...

Ouyang Yi, in high spirits, patted her head: "The dinner was delightful, let’s go, I’ll take you home."

She grumpily slapped his hand away: "Don’t touch my head, it won’t grow taller."

"Oh-hoh, little shorty, still hoping to grow taller." Ling Weilong chimed in, not missing the chance to pat her head twice himself.

Su Xingyu bared her teeth and glared at them, as they all laughed and made their way out of the steak restaurant.

Ultimately, Su Xingyu didn’t let Ouyang Yi take her home, as she remembered the jealous person back home, trying to avoid being alone with Ouyang Yi. But despite this, the jealous one at home was still upset.

"Where did you go?" came the blunt question as soon as she walked in the door.

She lifted her tired eyes to see Lu Shifeng sitting on the living room sofa, still in his white shirt and black trousers, his long legs crossed, regal and elegant like a high and mighty wolf king.

Her breath caught lightly; wasn’t he supposed to be working late tonight?

Before arranging her meeting with Ouyang Yi and Ling Weilong, she had deliberately called Mrs. Gui to ask if Lu Shifeng would be home for dinner. Normally, Lu Shifeng was busy with work and rarely came home on time for dinner; if he was coming back, his assistant Xie Jian would notify Mrs. Gui to prepare his dinner in advance.

But this evening, when she called to inquire, Mrs. Gui assured her he would be working late tonight.

Only then did she feel confident enough to invite Ouyang Yi and Ling Weilong out for dinner.

Lu Shifeng gazed at her silently and motionlessly, his slender eyes hidden in the shadows cast by the floor lamp.

Su Xingyu’s breath unconsciously grew more labored, finally yielding to the pressure, she answered stiffly: "Went out to eat with friends."

"Ouyang Yi, Ling Weilong?" He asked with indiscernible emotion.

Su Xingyu looked at him in astonishment, how did he know?

"Come here." he commanded.

Su Xingyu’s toes twitched, filled with apprehension, unable to take a step forward.

Lu Shifeng said: "After work Zhuang Heng came to complain about you, said that since you joined the photography center, you’ve been causing a stir and making many people unhappy. I canceled my dinner meeting and came home looking for you, yet you seem to be having a great time outside."

His tone was flat, as if he were merely stating facts.

Yet it was this flatness that caused Su Xingyu to shiver, unable to detect even a hint of anger or dissatisfaction from him.

The unknown was the most frightening.

She trembled slightly, unconsciously taking a small step back.

"Come here." He commanded again.

She dared not retreat anymore, but even more so, she dared not go forward, who knew if his current calm would not erupt into a storm in the next instant? Her eyes, glistening with watery light, watched him cautiously: "What, what do you want?"

"I’ll give you three seconds. Three, two..."

She trembled all over, like a startled little rabbit involuntarily moving towards him, her legs somewhat weak, but she managed to reach him before he finished counting.

With a long arm, he scooped her into his embrace and rolled on top of her.

"Lu Shifeng!" she gasped in surprise.

He lowered his head to sniff her, from her eyebrows to the tips of her hair: "You’ve been drinking." His tone was still that of stating a fact.

Her body was tense, she dared not even tremble, fingers clutching the sofa beneath her, her joints blanching.

He sniffed her again, one hand leisurely unbuttoning her collar, his movements neither rough nor particularly gentle. The cool breeze in the living room discomforted Su Xingyu, waves of fear and embarrassment surged within her heart, she pleaded, trying to grab his hand: "Lu Shifeng...not here, let’s go to the bedroom."

"Even the office at noon was fine, but here isn’t?" He’d already undone the second button, showing no signs of stopping.

Mentioning the affair at the office from noon filled her with both shame and anger, her face flushed red: "How, how can you be okay with doing it anywhere?" Her voice trembled with accusation as she began to struggle, "Lu Shifeng, stop, I don’t like you doing this!"

"I don’t like you seeing Ouyang Yi either," Lu Shifeng easily subdued her struggle, under the dim lighting of the living room, the sofa held two intertwined figures, disorderly and overlapping, "Xingyu, you are mine. If you still don’t understand this, don’t worry, with each lesson, you’ll understand more."

With that, he swung his large hand and tore her clothes apart!

She cried out but was powerless to stop it, pain surged from deep within, like a mountain collapsing, ripping her apart — the old wounds of noon compounded by the new ones, causing her such anguish that it seemed her consciousness might slip away.

"Why...?" She clung weakly to his shoulder, her agony extreme, her voice mumbling, broken.

He didn’t answer, biting into her shoulder, leaving a bloody mark, ignoring her fragmented gasps and struggles. Maybe he didn’t know how to answer her, only feeling as though there was a huge black hole deep within him, and each time he discovered her disobedience, the hole expanded infinitely, compelling him to take and consume something to fill it...

He wanted to bite her to pieces, swallow her, perhaps then she would be his completely.
