CHAPTER 19: CHAPTER 19: BECAUSE DADDY DIDN’T BEHAVE? (PART 1)

The world spun.

Thud.

Raina North fell heavily onto the festive bed, peanuts and dates flying everywhere, hitting her face.

Sensing someone approaching, Raina instinctively bent her knee to strike at the person’s lower body.

But!

Elias Hawthorne’s movements were evidently quicker.

With a clamp, a press, and a lock, he pinned Raina firmly to the bed.

"Elias Hawthorne, you..."

A shadow passed through Elias Hawthorne’s sharp and deep black eyes, "I’ve heard that the eldest daughter of The North Family has been frail since childhood and raised in the countryside, but I’ve never heard she learned martial arts?"

Raina’s gaze flickered, "Instinctive resistance, okay? My skills are specifically for dealing with perverts!"

Elias curled his lips, a half-smile appearing.

That look made Raina’s feet feel weak.

As if saying, isn’t your face hurting? Surely it was you who seduced me first?

Feeling a bit embarrassed under his gaze, Raina admitted that a moment’s folly can bring a lifetime of regret. The first time was due to being charmed, the second time was to save her life, both were unavoidable. She was genuinely an upright, kind-hearted, and steadfast woman.

Silence descended between them, Raina greatly disliked this feeling of being restrained.

However, the more she struggled, the closer the friction between them became.

There seemed to be faint sparks igniting between them.

After trying several times, unable to break free, Raina felt somewhat defeated, glaring angrily at Elias Hawthorne, "Elias Hawthorne, what do you really want?"

"Call out."

"What?" Raina was confused.

Outside the door, Old Mrs. Hawthorne leaned close to the door, sneakily listening to the sounds inside.

"Why is there no sound? Elias wouldn’t truly be like the rumors outside, right?"

Aunt Rivers furrowed her brows, looking worried, "Last time when the young master was bathing, I led the Young Madam over, thinking that two alone would make sparks fly. But the young master directly drove her away."

"Sparks? Not even a small spark," Old Mrs. Hawthorne looked utterly disappointed.

Aunt Rivers pondered, "Maybe next time we should add some excitement drugs?"

...

Inside the door, Raina and Elias Hawthorne exchanged looks.

Raina’s gaze couldn’t help but drift downwards, she asked quietly, "You wouldn’t... truly be unable to, right?"

Elias glared at her.

"Don’t just stare, get treatment if you’re sick."

Elias retorted, "I’m not sick."

Raina tilted her head, "If your body isn’t sick... could it be you prefer men?"

Elias: "!!! If you want to die, just say it!!!"

Raina coughed, silencing under his intimidating gaze.

Seeing Elias calm down slightly, Raina glanced at the door and asked wordlessly, what’s the situation now?

"You call out."

Raina waved her hand, "I won’t."

Elias: "Are you even a woman?"

Raina raised an eyebrow, gender stereotypes?

Who said women should know how to call out?

"I simply won’t. Why don’t you do it?"

Taking advantage of his lack of defense, Raina swiftly flipped over, turning defense into offense.

She pinched the flesh at his waist firmly and twisted hard.

"Ugh—"

Outside, Old Mrs. Hawthorne, looking dejected, suddenly lit up with immense joy.

"There’s a sound!"

"It sounds like the young master’s voice."

"Uh... let’s listen... let’s listen..."

...

Elias gasped sharply, his dark eyes bursting with a fierce light, "Raina, what are you doing?!"

Raina placed her slender finger against his lips, shushed him.

"Baby, don’t speak. Just enjoy."

Raina squinted her fox-like eyes, clenched her fists, and swung both hands.

...

Outside, the intermittent sounds entered Old Mrs. Hawthorne and Aunt Rivers’ ears, making their faces turn red with embarrassment.

"Who would have thought the Young Madam looks thin and weak, but has such a wild side inside."
