CHAPTER 911: CHAPTER 911: IT WILL SURELY BE AVENGED

As the black-robed figure finished speaking, a voice as cold as ice came from behind: "Is that a toad under that black robe? What a big mouth you have! Weren’t you after Orion Rivers’ head? I’ve brought it right here, why aren’t you coming to take it?"

With those words, the door was slammed open, and Raina North stepped inside.

The black-robed figures turned back in unison, their pupils suddenly contracting upon seeing the person walking in.

Although they planned to act against The Reed Family with the intention of targeting Orion Rivers, they chose this remote affiliated power because they did not expect Orion Rivers to come personally to stand up for The Reeds.

Their goal was merely to claim a foothold while suppressing the influence of The Celestial Alliance. Yet, unexpectedly, Orion Rivers himself had shown up.

The black-robed figures looked warily at the young man flanked by Pip Finch and Lune.

His figure was slender and tall, with beautifully managed short hair, delicate and handsome features, and a lazy smile playing on his lips.

Even though they’d seen photos of Orion Rivers before, seeing him in the flesh, the black-robed figures still felt he seemed more like a small celebrity posing on TV than a leader controlling a faction.

Master Reed stared at Raina North without speaking.

Astonishment and disbelief surged through his mind. At the level of The Reed Family, such an issue would have been shocking enough if The Celestial Alliance had sent a minor leader with members for support.

Yet, it was not some minor leader who had come, but Orion Rivers himself, accompanied by Lune and Pip Finch.

"A-Ally Leader!" Master Reed called, his mind slowly accepting the reality, then overwhelmed by immense joy.

The Alliance Hierarch had come!

His perseverance had not been in vain!

The Leader of The Celestial Alliance had come!

He came with an elite group to rescue The Reed Family!

"Alliance Hierarch! These people have wronged The Reed Family. Please, Leader, speak for us!" Master Reed threw the long knife in his hand aside and fell to his knees in front of Raina North, pointing to the black-robed group, tears in his eyes, his cries filled with grief!

Raina North looked at The Reed Family’s miserable state, then at the room filled with the dead and injured Reeds, her eyes murderous: "Rest assured, I will avenge this blood debt for you!"

As soon as Raina North finished speaking, Lune and Pip Finch rushed toward the black-robed figures, with Jonah Rivers leading the charge.

The skills of the black-robed figures were indeed excellent, but compared to Pip Finch and Lune, they were only marginally superior. Once the two joined forces, these figures were no longer a match.

And Jonah Rivers, as a top assassin, needed no further explanation; he was like a wolf entering a flock of sheep.

The other members of The Celestial Alliance brought by Raina North also coordinated in groups of two or three.

The black-robed figures, who were previously high and mighty, could no longer remain as composed as before.

With just a single exchange, the room descended into chaos, the sounds of battle unceasing.

Seeing this, Master Reed’s spirits were revived, and regardless of his injuries, he grasped his broadsword, ready to charge in and fight again.

Yet, just as he moved, Raina North stopped him.

Master Reed was a bit surprised: "Leader?"

"You’ve sustained such severe injuries, stop tormenting yourself. Leave this matter to The Celestial Alliance," Raina North said as she glanced at the bruised and battered Reeds: "Since you still have energy, quickly attend to the seriously wounded Reeds to prevent worsening their injuries."

"Thank you, Leader." Master Reed gratefully thanked her repeatedly before hastily leading his people toward the rear courtyard.

His gravely injured son and his frail wife were in the back courtyard.
