"Bobby..." Raina felt a surge of impulse in her heart. She wanted to take the child and leave. After all, the reason she married into The Hawthorne Family was solely for the child.

Yes, his cheap daddy was indeed the heartless one here.

Elias was so exasperated he laughed: "Jasper, why are you standing there? Take them away."

Jasper immediately stood up and picked up Baby Hawthorne.

Uncle Coleman followed suit and picked up Casper North.

Casper was just about to struggle when he saw Raina making a look at him.

Okay, he had to stay at The Hawthorne Family. With him being the spy, Mommy would better know the movements of his cheap big brother.

"No! I don’t want to go!" Baby Hawthorne struggled furiously, yelling, "Mommy! Mommy!"

Raina listened to Baby’s crying and felt her heart wrenching. Instinctively, she wanted to chase after him, but she was blocked by Elias as soon as she moved.

Elias’s expression was icy: "Miss North, please."

Raina could only stop in her tracks, watching as Baby Hawthorne was taken away.

Once again, her child was taken from her.

The hand hanging by her side clenched tightly, a sharp pain shot through her palm, and only through this pain could she calm down.

Raina came empty-handed, and when she left, she was still empty-handed.

As she came out of the study, she saw Old Mrs. Hawthorne standing at the door: "Raina..."

"Grandma, I’m leaving now. You should rest early tonight."

"All right." Old Mrs. Hawthorne nodded, watching Raina slowly walking away. She couldn’t help but sigh, a hint of sadness in her expression.

"She’s just a bold little con artist, Grandma, don’t soften up." Jasper said, "This Raina is really something, she can not only fool Baby but also my wise and brilliant grandma."

Old Mrs. Hawthorne was a little displeased: "What do you know? Raina is a good girl."

She didn’t really understand what had gone wrong in between, or what was really going on, but she believed that Raina wasn’t someone with a hidden agenda.

Her eyes were too pure, someone with a dirty mind wouldn’t have eyes like that.
