CHAPTER 95: CHAPTER 95: OUR ESCAPE WAS DISCOVERED (PART 1)

In the room.

Baby Hawthorne angrily questioned Casper North, "Why did you stop me just now! Mommy has already been kicked out!"

Casper slumped on the sofa, "I know. She even left without a penny, not even a hair, arguably the most pitiful discarded wife of a wealthy family. Poor thing, poor thing."

"Casper North!" Baby Hawthorne was furious, "Come clean, are you planning to have Mommy all to yourself!"

"I wish I could." Casper let out a long sigh, feeling quite sorry for himself too.

Born with a twin sister, and now having a big brother too, there’s no hope of being the sole favorite in this lifetime.

Baby Hawthorne huffed, puffing angrily, "I knew you had ulterior motives."

Casper couldn’t be bothered with him and took out the packed backpack he had prepared, starting to put things inside.

"What are you doing!" Baby Hawthorne asked, puzzled.

"Of course, I’m packing up and getting ready to run away with Mommy when the time is right."

Baby Hawthorne was stunned for a moment, "Mommy will come to get us?"

"Of course, she hasn’t taken her precious son with her yet."

Baby Hawthorne was momentarily dumbstruck, but his sadness was quickly replaced with joy. He rushed forward and snatched the backpack from Casper’s hand, "Don’t pack these."

Casper was angry, "You can’t be that stingy, not willing to spare even these little things."

"Idiot." Baby Hawthorne looked at him disdainfully, "These aren’t worth anything."

Casper turned his anger into joy, "Dear brother, you are indeed my dear brother. Dear brother, don’t forget your bank card. Our family’s future will rely on you to make a living. Hehehe..."

"..." Baby Hawthorne almost couldn’t look at him, his younger brother was just too stupid. Oh well, considering how he’s cared for Mommy all these years, he decided to let it go.

In the night.

Raina sat quietly in the driver’s seat, waiting.

She didn’t know how much time had passed when the car door was pulled open, and two small figures jumped into the back seat.

Casper let out a long breath of relief, "It really scared me to death, I thought I wouldn’t be able to escape today and would be separated from Mommy for the rest of my life."

Raina ignored Casper, "Bobby, what happened to your eyes?"

"Oh, little brother Casper rubbed chili in my eyes," he said, blinking, causing tears to suddenly stream down.

Raina angrily gave Casper a smack, "You little brat, bullying your big brother again!"

Casper pouted, aggrieved, "Mommy, I did it to trick my stingy daddy. Otherwise, we would’ve been caught back just after coming out!"

This dear big brother of his is so clingy to Raina, and now Raina’s been kicked out, yet he’s indifferent, who could believe that.

Baby Hawthorne was understanding, "Yeah, I consented. Mommy, don’t blame my brother."

"Stop pretending to be a good person, I’ve seen through you." Casper snorted coldly, "Mommy, just look, my big brother is like a dumpling, all dark inside once you cut him open!"

Baby Hawthorne snuggled into Raina’s embrace, his wide-open eyes as pure as they could be.

Raina couldn’t listen any longer and glanced coldly, "Shut your mouth!"

Casper wore a face of tragic indignation. Ever since that guy came, Mommy’s affection had shifted!

He should’ve just run away alone earlier, not taking this secretly dark-hearted brother!

Raina couldn’t be bothered with Casper’s resentful look and hugged Baby Hawthorne into her arms, carefully checking his eyes, and only after confirming nothing was wrong did she exhale a breath of relief, "Don’t mess around like this in the future, understand?"

Baby Hawthorne obediently nodded, "Mommy, I won’t make you worry again in the future."

"Good boy."

Casper’s heart was bubbling with sourness, "Hmph, just pretending to be obedient."

Raina glanced over sharply, "Stop yammering, and keep an eye on the Hawthorne Family, I need to know Elias Hawthorne’s whereabouts at all times."
