Casper North pulled out a computer: "There’s no way our cheap dad will discover it so soon. By the time he wakes up tomorrow and finds his son missing, we’ll already have left Southgate. Tell me, big brother, are you really willing to leave?"

Baby Hawthorne didn’t seem to mind: "Wherever mom is, that’s where I’ll be. As for dad, they’re all the same."

"If you change dads, you won’t be The Hawthorne Group’s little prince anymore."

"If you like being the little prince of The Hawthorne Group, I can let you have it."

"Really?" Casper North’s eyes lit up with excitement, his heart racing at the thought; a little prince worth billions, he could spend his life counting money.

Just the thought was exhilarating.

Raina North’s cold and eerie voice sounded: "Casper North, how about I send you back to The Hawthorne Family now?"

Casper North felt a chill down his spine and quickly said: "No, no, mom, you’re my true love." He said with a fawning smile.

Raina North snorted: "Get to work."

"At your command." Casper North’s fingers rapidly tapped on the keyboard.

Baby Hawthorne’s eyes flickered with disappointment; how could his stupid little brother refuse? If he had been willing to go back to The Hawthorne Family, then their mom could have been his own.

"Done."

The computer screen displayed a scene from The Hawthorne Family.

Casper North shook his leg, boasting: "Luckily, I’m sharp and during these days at The Hawthorne Family’s stronghold, I cracked their defense system ahead of time. Otherwise, making a run for it today wouldn’t be so easy."

Baby Hawthorne’s eyes sparkled, looking at Casper North with a newfound understanding; it seems his silly brother still has some stories in him.

Casper North suddenly shouted: "Oh no!"

"What happened?"

"The Hawthorne Family’s guards started moving. Mom, cheap dad might have noticed we’re gone."

Raina North looked up at the computer screen, and just then, Elias Hawthorne suddenly glanced over, his dark eyes meeting hers through the screen.

In that instant, the hair on her body stood on end.

The next second, Casper North’s computer screen flickered and went black.

Raina North didn’t hesitate to grab the computer from Casper North and threw it out with a swift motion.

At the same time, Raina North turned the steering wheel, the car suddenly spun around, and then, sped through the endless night at its fastest pace.

"The highway is blocked."

"The national road is full of vehicle inspections."

"All helicopters are grounded."

"The port is temporarily closed."

Listening to Casper North’s continuous updates, Raina North’s face was icy cold.

She didn’t know if Elias Hawthorne was being overly cautious or held her in high regard, managing to lock down the entire Southgate via land, sea, and air in such a short time—leaving her with no escape routes!

"Mom..." Baby Hawthorne looked at Raina North worriedly.

"Bobby, are you afraid?"

Casper North defiantly added: "Mom, I’m not afraid either!"

The two kids took turns shouting.

Raina North was filled with heroic spirit, stepping on the accelerator hard; what was Elias Hawthorne? What was The Hell King Hawthorne? She, Raina North, wasn’t to be trifled with.

Aidan Lynch rushed in: "Found Raina North’s car, but no sign of the little master."

"No suspicious vehicles on the national road."

"None on the highway."

"None at the port."

"None in aviation."

None.

None.

There’s none anywhere.

Raina North seems to have vanished into thin air with her two children.
