Shunned By An Alpha, Cherised By A Lycan
Chapter 338
?Chapter 338:
He wasn’t much to look at—barely built, his face pale and sweaty, his wrists tightly bound to the armrests. He looked up as I entered, his eyes widening in fear when he saw me. Good. He should be afraid. Fucking afraid, because I had zero intention of sparing him.
You know that blinding rage that hits when you see someone standing so close to your pain, pletely untouched by it? All you want is to grab them, crush the life out of them, and watch them struggle for their final breath. But even that feels too merciful—he doesn’t deserve peace, not even in death. He deserves something far worse, something that mirrors the agony he’s caused.
Ace snarled inside me, and I felt the familiar urge to rip him apart, limb by fucking limb. But no. That would be too easy, too merciful. This bastard deserved to feel every ounce of pain he’d caused Jasmine.
I stopped in front of him, my arms crossed over my chest as I stared him down.
“You’re going to tell me everything,” I said, my voice cold and sharp as a de.
“And if you even think about lying, you’re going to regret it.”
The man didn’t say a word, his lips pressed tightly together.
I turned to Kade, who was standing off to the side, and gestured to the nail embedded in the floor. “Tie him down,” I ordered.
Kade nodded, moving quickly to secure the man’s legs to the chair, his knees resting precariously above the sharp point of the nail. The bastard started to squirm, his eyes darting around the room as if he were looking for a way out.
“There’s no escape,” I said, my voice low and dangerous. “You hurt my mate. You had every fucking intention of killing her. And now, you’re going to pay for it. It’s about blood for blood.”
I leaned in close, my face inches from his. “Who sent you?”
He said nothing, his jaw clenched tightly.
I gave Kade a nod, and he pressed a lever on the side of the chair. Slowly, the chair tilted forward, driving the man’s knee closer to the nail.
The bastard let out a scream, the sound echoing off the walls, but I didn’t flinch. “Who sent you?” I repeated, my tone icy.
g???????ν??????.??0??. ???????????? ????????
“I-I can’t!” he stammered, his voice trembling with pain.
“Wrong answer.”
Kade pressed the lever again, and the chair tilted further. The nail pierced his skin, blood dripping onto the floor as he screamed again, louder this time.
“Talk,” I demanded. “Now.”
The man was panting, his face pale as he tried to catch his breath. “It was a-a woman,” he gasped.
My eyes narrowed. “Who?”
He hesitated, and I gave Kade another nod. The chair tilted again, the nail driving deeper into his flesh. His scream was deafening, but I didn’t care.
“Who?” I growled, my voice like thunder.
“Anna Thane!” he shouted, his words tumbling out in a desperate rush. “It was Anna Thane!”
The room went still, so quiet that even a pin dropping to the floor would’ve been heard. Anna fucking Thane.
I should have seen thising. After I killed Jason, her pathetic excuse of a son, it was only a matter of time before she came after me. Or, in this case, Jasmine. That bitch had no limits, no fucking boundaries.
“Why?” I asked, my voice low and dangerous.
“She—she wanted revenge,” the man stammered, his voice shaking. “Said she’d make you pay for what you did to her son. Said your mate was the perfect target.”
Ace roared in my head, and I felt my ws itching toe out. This wasn’t just about me anymore. Anna had made it personal. She’d gone after Jasmine.
