?Chapter 365:

Ryder’s POV

Things were slowly falling back into ce. Well, as much as they could in my life. I had a pack to run, elders who wouldn’t stop making demands, a tenuous alliance to solidify with Silverw, and oh, right—I was about to be a father. The excitement of knowing we would soon be parents, a new role I wasn’t afraid to take on, was overwhelming.

No pressure or anything.

Despite the chaos, I found myself grounded in the one constant that had changed everything for me: Jasmine. Watching her go through this transition—pregnancy, pack politics, her blossoming role as Luna—was equal parts awe-inspiring and terrifying. She was fierce, stubborn as hell, andpletely unapologetic about it. I loved every second of it.

I don’t care if I’ve said this a thousand times, but she was my world. My mate. My obsession. My addiction. My fucking everything.

But that didn’t mean I wasn’t worried.

Her moods had been a rollercoastertely, and I didn’t mean that as a criticism. Pregnancy was hard enough on its own, but when you added a wolf with La’s snarkymentary and a pack of elders stuck in their outdated ways? It was a wonder Jasmine hadn’t snapped and burned the whole ce to the ground. Not that she didn’te close sometimes.

This morning was a perfect example. I found her in the bedroom, locked in a battle with Seraphina over an outfit that didn’t seem to want to cooperate. Jasmine was grumbling under her breath, her face flushed with frustration, while Seraphina tried her best to stay patient.

“I’m not squirming!” Jasmine snapped, even as she twisted to avoid Seraphina’s hands.

“Sure you’re not,” Seraphina said with a calmness I couldn’t hope to match.

I leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, taking in the scene. It was hard not to smile. Jasmine was a force of nature, even when she didn’t realize it.

“Talking to La again?” I asked when I caught her muttering to herself.

She shot me a re. “Not now, Ryder.”

I raised my hands in mock surrender. “Alright, I’ll stay out of it. But Enzo’s almost here, so—”

“I’ll be ready when I’m ready!” she interrupted, turning that re on me. I knew better than to argue. Pregnancy hormones or not, Jasmine wasn’t someone you argued with and came out unscathed.

Eventually, Seraphina dered her ready, and we made our way to the living room. I stayed a step behind her, half because I wanted to give her space and half because I enjoyed the sight of her walking with purpose. Her head was held high, her shoulders back, and even though she was pregnant, she moved with the confidence of someone who knew exactly who she was.

When we reached the living room, Enzo was already there. His cocky grin and easy posture screamed troublemaker, but I couldn’t deny the respect I had grown to have for him. He had proven himself loyal to Jasmine, and by extension, to me.fna43a ?????? ???? find~novel/fna43a

“Jasmine!” Enzo called, his face lighting up when he saw her.
