CHAPTER 891: CHAPTER 889: DEALING WITH THE TRAITOR 2

Creak.

The door opened and this time Admire stepped into the room followed by four detectives in tow.

When Diamond saw them, she politely nodded at them and greeted them. "Hello, detectives. I am very sorry for making you so busy in the morning."

The captain politely smiled at her and responded, "We are just doing our job."

Diamond smiled politely at them and shifted her focus to the staff.

"If you know that you have done something that you shouldn’t have done. For example, selling the secret recipes everyone had been working hard to keep under wraps for profit. Then come out and surrender yourself. Maybe I will be lenient," she said to them, her tone very cold.

When the staff heard that, they shuddered with fear.

"Who is it?" they asked wondrously.

When they thought of the overtime, they worked just to get the recipes perfect and to find substitutes for some of the complicated ingredients, the scientists were so angry when they found out that someone was selling their hard work.

Although the recipe wasn’t theirs but belonged to their boss. The fact that they had been racking their brains for a month to perfect it and someone just did that awful thing. They were very angry.

In their line of business, they understood the importance of confidentiality. The work that they do as researchers and scientists couldn’t even be shared to their families and yet someone did that. They were so infuriated.

Diamond watched everyone and waited to see if the traitor would have a conscience and surrender but after waiting for a while, the person acted dead.

Seeing that he didn’t want to choose the easy way out, Diamond turned to the detectives and said to them with a polite smile. "Detectives, the person is not remorseful. Please go ahead and take him. My lawyer Kiara and Executive assistant Nancy will hand all the evidence over to you. They will work with you and give you everything that you need."

Since the other person was playing her for a fool. Diamond would not show any mercy. With that, the fate of the traitor was sealed. At the same time, it made everyone curious who the traitor was and when they saw the bodyguard marching in a certain direction, the staff were scared, wondering if they were being accused wrongly but a certain someone seeing that things weren’t in his favor, jumped to his feet wanting to run away. However, it was too late for him to make any moves.

As a result, he was pinned on the table, and the man started hurling insults at Diamond.

"Umph! How dare you arrest me? Who do you think you are? I am going to sue you for invading our privacy!"

Diamond chuckled as she looked at this man and mockingly responded, "Go ahead and sue. But for now, Mr. Luke, I am accusing you of stealing trade secrets and colluding with a competitor."

This Luke person was so shameless. He had been stealing the beauty cream recipe and selling it bit by bit to this cosmetic company abroad. To think that such a rotten person managed to slip into her company. She didn’t even know who to blame. After all, it wasn’t like Nancy didn’t do her due diligence. The man simply had a treacherous heart and that couldn’t be seen clearly at first.

Thankfully, the many eyes in every company she had put beforehand made it possible to find this traitor. She should thank Agatha for what she did, otherwise, she wouldn’t have thought of checking the records to see if anyone was playing tricks behind her back.

Thanks to the monitoring, Andrea flagged Luke and managed to find the evidence. As for calling the police. She wasn’t afraid of being accused of invading privacy. "I will be sending you the real recipe of the cream that you have been researching. There aren’t a lot of changes so production can start as scheduled. The same is true for the beverages.

However, if you want to see the recipe for the medium and high-grade cream, then more NDAs need to be signed.
