Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon
Chapter 1032 - 1029: Plan?
CHAPTER 1032: 1029: PLAN?
Killing Jeremy was a feat that was not difficult for Corey to achieve in the slightest despite the fact that Jeremy was still in the shell world and he was outside of it.
Corey had used the skill, Toxic Familiar, to implant two poisonous insects inside Jeremy’s heart and head.
He had done this from the moment Jeremy told him about his unique ability, he had placed the poisonous insects in Jeremy’s body when he touched him back then.
Although it was quite unfortunate he had to kill Jeremy, but to save his sister?
He would become the incarnation if that was what it took to save her.
As for what Jeremy’s reaction would be if he eventually found out that he was the one that killed him?
He didn’t care.
If he became angry with him, then so be it. He would deal with it in the future.
Meanwhile, what was currently going through Corey’s mind was what his next set of actions should be.
Before killing Jeremy, he had a brief plan in his head.
Once, he went back in time to when Jeremy and his friends met him, Pamela, and the others in the palace, the first thing he would do was warn the Queen of the assassins.
Then he would find a way to make sure that Thalos, the prince was not harmed or attacked by Syrelle, Orynthia, or her mother.
Trying to prove to the Queen and the others that Syrelle was a traitor was going to be difficult, however, his attention would be firmly placed on her.
He would then send Kiefer, Selene, her mother, and the youngest princess of the Silver Elves.
Later, he would make sure that Klaus, the Pope, and none of the invaders would be able to unleash th world shell. His goal was to ensure that Queen Nerith could keep her connection with the world tree, enabling her to maintain her current strength.
This would make him a lot weaker since his fusion with the world tree was what made him to be able to battle Anton who was a Tier 7 with the Book of Death, Pope Arzhel who could battle Tier 7s, and the Clown who was a Tier 6 with combat abilities of an Immortal.
Although he would lose the power he had, he would find a way to kill the Pope and the Clown no matter what.
And the last, possibly, first and most important thing Corey knew he had to do was to check his shadow.
He remembered that the Clown had appeared from his shadow when he sneak attacked him, and even with all his senses, he had never noticed the presence of the Clown.
And that in itself was extremely shocking.
There were so many other things he knew he had considered in his plan, and it was not as detailed as he would like it to be. But he was going to have work it.
The moment Jeremy died, the world stopped, and then time rewound.
A few moments later, Corey’s eyes fluttered open, and he calmly looked around.
At first, a flicker of confusion could be seen in his eyes, but then the confusion became one of frustration.
Unlike what he expected, he had not gone back in time to when he first met Jeremy in the palace.
No.
He had gone back in time to when he left the shell world with Pamela and Syrelle. Not too far from him was the floating shell world, and beside him were Pamela and Syrelle.
’Man plans but the heavens laughs.’
Corey recalled a phrase he had stumbled upon on the Internet before the apocalypse.
Oh, how true such a phrase was.
’I didn’t account for this. Everything I planned has to be changed. How annoying.’
Corey’s gaze landed on Pamela who had a deep frown as she clutched her head. He then looked at Syrelle, and he saw her having a calm and indifferent expression as she stared at both of them, seemingly waiting for them to get ready.
Corey’s gaze then shifted to his shadow, and despite the urge to scan his shadow thoroughly, search it thoroughly, reach into it, and drag the bastard that was certainly hiding in his shadow.
Howeve, he decided to control himself. If he decided to act, he would accomplish nothing.
There were several issues he would encounter, and two of them were- The Clown and Syrelle.
With Syrelle, he could not defeat her.
Syrelle was a Tier 7, and if he wanted to defeat her, he would have to expend so much energy and so much of himself, just to have a slim chance of defeating her.
And if he defeated her, how would he be able to defeat the Clown and the Pope?
And Anton was also part of the equation.
How was he to defeat all of them even with Pamela’s help?
He had to wait. He had to be calm, and then he had to strike at the right time.
’No matter what, you’re not dying in front of me for the second time.’
Corey’s eyes glint d with a cold and sharp light, and then he looked at Pamela.
"Do you remember everything?"
Syrelle looked at Corey and Pamela with a baffled expression.
’Remember what?’ She wondered.
Pamela nodded. "I do."
Corey looked away and nodded. "Good... Let’s go."
Pamela nodded, and then she followed Corey as he walked forward.
"So? What’s the plan?" She asked while walking side by side with him, not caring about Syrelle’s presence.
Syrelle felt something was wrong, but she didn’t know what.
"Shouldn’t I be the one to show you the way? Why are you guys walking without my direction?" She asked, but Corey and Pamela ignored her.
"We’ll do what we did back then. But first, we have to take care of something."
Corey looked in the direction of the unconscious Thalos, and so did Pamela and Syrelle.
Syrelle’s expression changed when she noticed Thalos. She was about to speak, but Pamela cut her off.
"We’re healing him?"
Corey nodded and was about to take a step toward Thalos, but he noticed a ripple in Thalos’ shadow, and his expression drastically changed.
