Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Initiation II

    Within a large opening, on what looked to be an old bridge, ruins laying around them, was what would become team RWBY and JNPR. The cliffs loomed over them above, as well as another creature, a flying grimm known as a Nevermore. While in front of them, was a scorpion like grimm, known as a death stalker.

    They had all already grabbed their relics, and were planning on running, as fighting the grimm was pointless. The test was to get the relic and return to the cliffs, meaning they didn''t need to kill grimm. So, simply fleeing instead of wasting their time, was a better idea than to fight off two grimm that are quite a bit stronger than normal ones.

    Besides being stronger than a Beowulf or ursa, they were also several times larger, more durable, and far more dangerous to a normal huntress. To the point that they needed several people to fight them, well, for academy students at least. Full blown huntresses or huntsmen, could hunt them alone with a bit of difficulty.

    "Well, looks like we''re going to have to fight after all" Pyrrha said, as the nevermore loomed above them, flying in the skies above them, and the death stalker stood in front of them, cutting them off from escaping. Only someone like Ruby would be able to get away safely, and that was entirely because of her immense speed/teleportation.

    "Looks like it" Ren said with a sigh, as the two teams brought out their weapons, preparing to fight, only to stop when a beam of light flew from the tree''s, directly slamming into the nevermore above them. The beast stumbled in the air slightly, as it struggled to stay in the skies.

    A loud *SCREEECH* escaped the nevermore, as it''s wings looked to have arrows within them. Without being able to question what was happening, the death stalker was launched to the side as a large boulder slammed into it''s side.

    "Man, those two are way bigger than Ursa''s or a beowulf" The voice of Korra sounded out, as the group of four walked out of the forest, into the opening where the death stalker was.

    "So, who''s taking which?" Korra asked, looking to M''gann, Artemis and Raven. They had been watching for a few moments, and thought it was time to kill the things now.

    "I and Raven can take the Nevermore, if you two can take the death stalker. We''ve got the best ranged attacks for it" Artemis said, causing Korra to nod, before looking to Raven, who nodded in her direction, a plan already forming without even having to speak.

    "What is that dolt doing?!" Weiss screamed, as they watched Gwen who had a small smirk on her face, not even remotely afraid of the grimm, for they were far weaker than her. But to their eyes, she looked psychotic. As there wasn''t a single huntress or huntsmen that could fight off that many grimm, not alone at least.

    "Hmm, what should I use this time? Maybe something new?" Gwen muttered as the grimm noticed her presence, and roared at her, as she willingly began to attract them towards her. She wanted them all in one spot, so she could slaughter them in one singular attack. Grinning, Gwen decided on her attack as the grimm grew closer. An attack belonging to a man from another universe, a man that was well known for being a King...a King of Curses. Gwen glowed slightly, as slowly, she opened her mouth, as a wave of energy exited her, and she spoke the word of her attack, a powerful attack that she had yet to use, until now. A new attack that was more powerful than anything in the RWBY universe, and far more dangerous than anything in that universe. An attack that was far stronger than it''s normal counterpart, thanks to the Omega Energy it used. An attack, that would be ingrained in the minds of the two teens for the rest of their lives.
